  Adalina bounded along happily through a large field, stopping every once in a while to sniff at a new flower, and for once she was the on in front of her father. She was getting much more confident about being out by herself, though she didn't stray out of his sight or else they'd probably both panic. Plus he knew everything! If she wanted to know what kind of bird flew by or what kind of flowers smelled good and bad, her dad knew. "C'mon daddy! I see some yellow flowers and red flowers up there!" she shouted back to her following father.Viscoso trotted a few yards behind his daughter, keeping a close eye on her but also enjoying the warm sunny day. He was thankful she wasn't cowering behind him as much as she used to and that she was taking the lead now but she also had to be careful about where she went and who she might run into. That was his main reason for following after her all day long.

  Anemone stood out in the open meadow with her son, pride shimmered in her eyes as she watched him romp around. He never strayed to far, and she was never out of ear shot of him at least, plus Sophia was always at his side these days, the young moutain lion and her son were fast friends..Sighing happily, she nestled into the patch of flowers, folding her wings neatly at her sides she watched her son enjoy himself.Heph leaped up at a butterfly fluttering out of his reach, higher, and higher he jumped until he had to open his wings ever so slightly to make sure he landed back down without hurting himself, he chuckled as he raced around bucking and rearing back with a laugh.
The faint grunt and playful growl of his companion Sophia caught his attention as she chased after him, jumping up she used him rump to jump up higher after the butterfly outstretching a paw, Heph shook his head and laughed, "Sophie your a showoff!" he exclaimed with a laugh before he raced away once more. "Come on lazy puss.." He called out with a shake of his head, he liked playing with the big cat, but he longed for another foal to play with.

Adalina trotted up a small hill and busied herself with smelling a small group of bright red tulips when she heard a shout from somewhere out in front of her. Sure enough, there was a foal about her age with bright colored wings romping around with a cat. At least she thought it was some sort of cat from what she'd heard. There was another larger horse watching them who also had bright wings. The polka dotted filly stood there watching the colt and large cat run around, just curious as to the point of the game they were playing.
Viscoso came up beside his daughter and smiled down at the two she was obviously watching before settling down in the grass. Maybe she would give him a break and go and play with them for a while.

Her head lifted as soon as the new unknown scents caught her attention, she lifted her gaze to the hilltop where she could see a stallion and what looked to be a filly at his side, she relaxed a bit as she looked to her son and once more fell into a relaxed state watching her son through heavy lids, who knew a boy could be so tiring...
Like his mother, Sophia caught the new smells, she looked around looking for the owners, this caused Heph to stop. Snorting a bit, he shook his short mane and ruffled his feathers, finally the new scents caught his attention too, his mother had taught him now to detect the different scents of different animals. He looked up and spied the young filly, his eyes widened as he reared back and neighed at her loudly with a grin.
Falling back he ruffled his wings and pranced a bit, showing his excitement to see another his age.

Lina jumped a bit and her ears pricked foreward hearing his call and seeing him rear up. He seemed excited but about what? ...Her?? She looked at her dad, who nudged her along to go and play, before slowly heading down to the colt and lion. "H-hi. What're you two doing? You seemed to be playing a game or something." Her attention was mostly on the cat since she hadn't met or seen one personally before which made her on edge. Most likely if it made a fast move she'd be bolting back to her dad in a split second. But he seemed laid back so she figured it was okay. "My name's Adalina but my daddy calls me Lina."

"Tag is what we were playing, well til the butterfly left.." He glanced towards the sky for a moment, one day he'd be able to fly with them.
He noticed how Sophie made her slightly uncomfy, he looked to Sophia and clicked his tongue, she gave him a pout before she raced over to his mother, pouncing on the mares brightly colored wings with a grunt. "Thats Sophia, dont worry she wont hurt you. Shes kinda like us, just a cub..she likes to play.." He grinned at the little filly.
"Im Heph.."

Lina watched Sophia run off and pounce on the other horse she had seen. "Oh. She didn't have to leave, I've just never met or seen one before so I just didn't know what to do. But my dad seems fine so he probably knew she wasn't dangerous or anything." She looked around for any sign of the butterfly he said they'd been chasing but she couldn't see anything nearby. "Well sorry about your butterfly but I'll play tag with you if you want. I'm not very fast and I can't fly like the butterfly but...I can try." She smiled a little and swished her little rainbow tail back and forth. "Sophia can play too if she wants."

"So not everyone has someone like Sophia? Interesting.." He turned his head back towards the little lion and clicked his tongue once more, but she only gave him a sour look and started to slowly come towards the pair.
"Im not the fast, my wings can make things a little..awkward.." He gave a slight sheepish grin as he moved them around. He looked past her, to her tail and mane and grinned now. "Oooh you have a lovely tail and mane, I like the colors.." He pranced a little bit, "My mum wouldnt let Sophia hurt anyone, plus I dont think she would anyways.."

She shook her head lightly. "Nope, none in my family have one like her. I'm sure others do but probably not everyone." She watched the lion come back down and smiled to her.
"Your wings don't help you go faster? Huh. I thought they would help you not slow you down. Maybe they only make you fast in the air." She shrugged and smiled at him, swishing her little tail again. "Thank you. I get the colors from my daddy. Though he says I look more like momma...I can't tell who I look more like but it doesn't matter really. I like the colors of your wings though. They're bright and pretty." Lina moved foreward, acting like she was going sniff his wings or nose at them a bit but instead gave his neck a good nudge and shot off in another direction. "You're it!"

"Everyone should have a Sophia..shes the best. Specially when no one else is around to play.." Heph didnt play with his siblings, he knew he had two other brothers but one lived with his father and the other with a girl in the village, they visited him often though..
"My mom says they will when I get used to em. Mm yeah! Flying is easy with wings.." He laughed a bit making a silly face at her. He watched her with an arched brow, "My mom says I look like my father..but my grandpops say I look like my mom.." He wiggled his wings, "Thanks.." His head tilted as he watched her near, what on earth was she doing he thought until she nudged his neck. "Cheater!" he laughed as she sped off, he looked to Sophia with a grin, but she too took off away from him, after the filly. "Cheaters the both of ya!" he called out as he now gave chase.

Adalina giggled excitedly as she bounded around, trying to stay away from him. "I'm no cheater! I'm just faster than you!" she managed to say between giggles. Looking down to the cat she whispered in a hushed tone. "Let's split up and confuse him! One..Two..THREE!" On three she zipped in one direction, hoping Sophia would go the other way which would make Heph have to decide which to chase and TRY to tag. She was pretty sure she wasn't going to let him catch up to her that easily!

Sophia nodded, and at three, she jerked the other way. Her tail flicking as she raced away with a snort. What a fun game!
Heph skidded to a halt for a moment, he snorted and gave both girls a dirty look before he chased after Adalina with a chuckle. "Im going to get you.." He called out with a toss of his short cut mane, the little mohawk tossed a bit as he raced after her.

"I don't think so!" She looked back to see how close he was and then...Why was the ground coming closer to her face all of a sudden? Uh oh. Lina tumbled a few feet and just blinked and looked around as she layed on the ground. What just happened? Upon examination she saw a rather large sized rock right behind. Ah, she tripped. Not surprising. She shook her head and looked at the dark winged figure of her friend coming closer. "Ack! I won't let you ca- woah," she wobbled a little when she stood up, obviously a little dizzy from her fall but she still tried to get away. Not very successfully though...

As the little filly fell, Sophia was quick to turn around and race towards her. She let out a chirp at Heph, who too was slowing down so he too didnt trip, or fall onto her and add to injury.
Sophia eyed the Lina with a c**k of her head, she then looked to Heph and clicked a bit before shaking her head.
Heph stopped, "Are you alright? That was an epic fall!" he eyed her too, wanting to make sure she was alright. "Sophia says we shouldnt play tag anymore, you might pull or twist something.." He nodded his head in agreement. "Dont want to go breaking my most rainbowfied friend.." He grinned at her.

Lina tilted her head at him before looking to Sophia pleadingly. "No I'm okay! I just didn't watch where I was going, I'll be careful I promise!" Great. First friend she gets to play with and she ruins the game. Just perfect. "I'm sorry, Heph. I didn't mean to ruin the game. Th-the rock just...got in my way is all." She looked at the ground ans scuffed her hooves in the grass, feeling ashamed and slightly upset. He managed to pull a smile out of her though as she looked at him. "Rainbowfied? That's a weird word," she laughed.
