Does anyone else read these books?

http://www.edgarandellen.com/

I have the first book laying around somewhere...
Anyways I got into these books a little after I got into Lemony Snicket's.
It says those interested in Lemony Snicket's books might find these ones quite interesting too, and for me it works.

These are mischevious and amazing books, although the author tries not to encourage littler ones to do what Edager and Ellen do, thats why their motto goes along the same lines as:

'If you're ever in a tough spot, think of what edgar and ellen would do, then do exactly the contray.'

Although they're short and expensive, I personaly think they're pretty great. But if you haven't read it, I don't think you should judge it by how it looks.

My local bookstore didn't have them, I'll have to go to Borders.. but since I don't have any books to read at the moment I'll probably do that soon.

I never heard of that... what's it about?

It's hard for me to say, but basicly about two extremly mischevious twins (one boy and one girl) who live in a awfuly odd mansion/house? Parents left them when they were younger I belive.

There's just something about reverse psychology that makes people want to read books.
Now if only the school systems would post signs saying "Don't read; it's dreadful" around elementary schools. Then the kids would be flocking to the libraries...

...
The books sound interesting... I want to check out some of Mr Handler's books as well.

I've read Watch Your Mouth and The Basic Eight, I feel I should warn you that Watch Your Mouth is far cry from a childrens book in case you didn't know all ready. The Basic Eight is out of print too I believe. However I heard he's coming out with a new book in 2006 sometime. Adverbs, that's it. Ooo, I just preordered Adverbs and bought two other books which is bad because I'm trying to not spend money, darnit.
