Meet Sage Date, bearer of the Armor of Halo

Although Sage is very wise and good at coming up with battle strategies, he is also very aloof. For instance, when Sage and Mia go searching for Kento, he tells Mia to stay and wait by the jeep as she'll only slow him down.

Personal opinions: Sage is a lone wolf who thinks of his pride as a warrior first and then others. At first, he views Mia and Yuli as distractions that will only keep him from fighting to the best of his ability. His attitude quickly changes when he sees that they're staying with them no matter what happens, but he still prefers for them to keep a safe distance away from them during their battles.

So although Sage is a lone wolf, he also cares deeply about his friends saftey even if he doesn't always show it in the best way. blaugh
