So now i ask you all, what are you waiting for?

For me i do not know. Its always there no matter what happens. Its a feeling like im waiting for something. Something important. And it seems as if everything else is unimportant. Ive had it since i was 7. Only problem is i cant figure out what it is.

maybe im just anxious. Maybe its something else. So i put it out there. Do others feel this way. And if so, theories, if not, theories.

I have the same feeling. I have no idea what I'm waiting for, but the feeling is always there.

From what i've found. The feeling of waiting crosses generations. And we all do not have any clue what it is. However a lot of people believe its some explosively bad event. Me personally. I don't like to sink into that type of thinking. Mainly because bad for me is the planet exploding.

Theories i've heard.

1. The spiritual belief. Christians its jesus. New age, its ascending. Those are the popular ones for those.

2. Destruction. This would be anything that would cause chaos. Earth quakes, pole shifts, alien attacks, pandemic, ect.

3. Basic humanoid connection. It is theorized that we are connecting to the global feeling.

4. We are paranoid and anxious. I'm more inclined to believe this one simple because these feelings are the most likely considering the time we live in. Also im sure that every generation had a feeling like this one way or another.

There is some of them. Theres more, but im tired and cant think of them. Some people that have these feelings also have very vivid dreams. So feel free to share those also. if nothing else, it will be interesting.

I would have to agree that this is most likely the reason, however, there is so much we don't understand about consciousness. Is it just our brain or is there more? Maybe our consciousness is tied in to something beyond our sense of time and can therefore "see" and anticipate the future. We are just not aware of it on the surface.

As weird as it might sound I have a feeling of waiting for death. Not that I am looking forward to it. I have a lot of things I want to do yet, but it's something that is always there.

I have that feeling as well. I think something big is going to happen some time in my life. I also have this feeling that I'm special. And I've had dreams that I was one of the last survivors in the world when something happened to almost everyone else. I have a friend who I met recently who has dreams which are almost the same. Maybe it's all a coincidence, or me just being crazy, or maybe something will happen. Only time will tell.

I've been almost sure ever since I was little that I was going to die young. It's why I never bothered doing well in school. I just never prepared myself for adult life, because I was sure it wasn't going to happen.

I asked my mama about this and she said the same thing happened to her when she was my age. She was sure she would never make it past 25. It's why she joined a monastary of nuns in California. xD Her life goal was to be a saint, but that didn't pan out to well, so she had us instead. XB

What's funny is that, for a while she was a bride of Christ. So in a weird way, God is literally my dad. xD!!

But at the moment, I still feel like something is going to happen. We're all scared about the future in some way. I just want to live in the present as much as I can. @.@

i know what all of you are waiting for.... it is Change!!!! unalterable change, this change may happen in a single event or in stages.... spread over minutes or millions of years.... they best thing to do is to live the best you can and rise above all challenges.... because as the popular saying goes, " where there is a will there is a way...."

I was thinking about this and I had an idea. I don't mean to be religious-y or anything, and I'm not a Christian in the strict sense of the word. (I'm Pagan with a deep respect and love for all religions).

But you know, what if the thing we're waiting for is something so big, HUGE, that it couldn't be anything else but God? Like we've been with God before, and we know subconciously that we'll be going back to God in the end.

Sometimes I feel like that's what I'm waiting for, at least.

People have been experiencing the same thing for centuries..
Although I would say that these times do make you anxious and we are over due for a change of some sort.
Even so I have the same feelings.. and as a reaction I have become obsessed with growing plants and learning all about them. sweatdrop

Not to get all religious-y on you, but we're already with God. It just depends on how you look at it. I could elaborate, but I would get long winded. If you don't think you get what I mean then just ask; I'll explain it (or try to).
