The Story:
Four little warriors have the day off from training, what to do with their free time? Go exploring of course! Off to the dark and dangerous woods of Nightmare Valley travel the four brothers in search of fun and adventure. Yet unknown to the teenagers, evil forces lurk within the forests, waiting for the unwary to stumble into their clutches...
((Starting off a story of Sage and Ziyala's boys but if anyone else wants to jump in - feel welcomed!))

"Come on, Korai!" Sorin nudged his brother again. "It will be fun! Just think of it..."
"I am thinking of it," Korai protested shrugging off his brother. "You want us to go off exploring a vast land permeated by dark magic - how is this a good idea?"
"Guys!" Sorin appealed to his other brothers. "Help me out here!"

Arron shifted. "I dunno...This just doesn't feel right to me."
Irvine rolled his eyes. "Where is your sense of adventure?"
"I lost it when mom started our training."
"That wasn't very funny, Arron." Irvine remarked. "Mom may have been tough but you know dad was harsher."
More shifting about from Arron as he fell quiet. He had to been the sweeter of the two. But where on earth did the sweetness come from? Defnintely not mom or dad....they were warriors. Sure he did his training and kept up with his brothers but fighting wasn't really in him...
Irvine looked at Korai. "And who's to say we'll even run into trouble, Korai?"

"I'm going to go with our current steak of luck..." The teen said shaking his head. "You know, the one that got Sorin covered in rashes last week..."
"Hey, I thought we weren't going to talk about that any more!"

"See! Exploring is dangerous!" Arron squeaked.
"It is not. Not remembering what plants give you breakouts is though."

Korai regarded his brothers evenly, "You guys are still going to do this even without Arron and I, aren't you?"
Sorin grinned, "You know we can't resist an adventure, right Irvine?"

"Of course! How often does mom and dad both let us have the day off from training to do whatever we want! Besides! We're teenage boys...shouldn't we be exploring?" Irvine teased.
Arron sulked. "Why the pressure?"
"Think of it this way yea we get the day off from training, but it'll give us a chance to put that training into use through experience."

"Yeah!" Sorin agreed quickly joining in. "What's the point of training everyday if we never make any use of our skills!"
Korai gave them a look for their logic, "So you guys want to jump into the most dangerous part of the valley for our first real world training exercise?"

"Would you rather deal with the familiar evils of our herds then something unfamiliar where we have to use our brains and skills?" Irvine countered.
Arron glanced to Korai nervously.

"Yeah!" Sorin nodded in agreement. "Besides, Nightmare valley isn't the most dangerous area, the dragon's caves are the most dangerous part of the valley...
Korai shook his head yet again as he glanced over at Arron, "I don't think they're giving up on this."

"He has a point. Fire and claw the fact they have wings kinda helps." Irvine mused.
Arron sighed and almost sulked. "I don't think they will either. and what does fire and claw and wings have to do anything? Half our herds have all those and more and we can manage the same."
Irvine shrugged.

"Great, so it's settled!" Sorin said already racing off into the woods. "Come on, you guys!"
Korai exchanged another silent glance with Arron before trotting off after Sorin.

Irvine just grinned and raced after his other two brothers, teasing Sorin with a game of race.
Arron whimpered softly knowing this was a bad idea!!! A very bad idea... still, he followed his brothers, being the last one after Korai.

"Let's go!" Sorin laughed racing along with Irvine, leaping fallen trees and brushes. "Come on you slow pokes!"
"Slow pokes?" Korai echoed, an amused smile on his face as he glanced back at Arron. "Are we going to take that?"

Arron grinned. "No we aren't!" Almost with childish laughter, the youngest brother chased after his older brothers in playful vengence of being called slow.
Irvine grinned. "Let's hurry Sorin before they get us!"
