The walls are stained from right to left with many unkown substances, most notably a large picture of a Ringmaster type person, standing on a podium amongst a sea of the dead and dying, this is Luthers's art, the one that the Void gave him a taste for, a flair, some might say. The furniture is scarce, and the personel heirlooms are thin, the only sign of a person inhabiting this blood bath was the Bedroom next to it, a large and grand room with a four poster bed in the center, posters of different Circus' line the walls, and bookcases full of Memoirs littered the walls, though the Memoirs were more acurately known as Research Notes, Luther was researching the organic pain threshhold, the most recent one lay open on a small green leather desk in the corner, a quill and inkpot next to it. This was clearly the bedroom of somebody who had inhabited the 17th century and never caught up with the times.

A cursory glance at the book could see that disappointingly it was written in normal, black ink, books such as these were meant to be written in blood, but after a while browsing through the Notes you could surmise that there wasn't enough blood left to write the date, let alone a page. It listed different torture methods, and how the Victims reacted, he had removed the tail of a mad Werewolf, and it had still fought against the tendrils of Darkness he conjured to attack it, but the Hunter he had brought in had simply given in the second he amputed the Tail bone, some people didn't value life; Luther did, he valued it at the highest price, seeing as it benefitted his research. He had learned long ago that the true power of a Vampire lay in two things: The amount of Blood drunk, and the age of the Vampire. Because he was still relatively young in Vampire terms, he strove to drink as much blood as possible. There is a large deep freeze compartment in the wall of the first room, which contains Blood Packs of several different types, most and from many different types of people.

If one did not leave this Apartment with disgust, but instead to continue to search, they would eventually see that in the corner was a a space of floor slightly darker that the rest, when you saw this if you happened to walk over and try and pull it up, you would find a ladder leading down through the large and thick walls themselves, eventually ending up in the basement of the Complex, where several grizzly looking Cages and Torture mechanisms lay threateningly in the gloom, it would be then that you would notice you smelt something sweet and sticky in the air, and then you would have found him. Luther himself, he only stayed in the upper apartment when the weight of the world was crushing him, if you ventured down into this area that would be where you found him, carrying out his rather disgusting experiments with a child-like grin printed upon his face, doing his favourite passtime. Murder.

Luther pulled the girl down the thin passage-ways inside the Complex, managing to reach his torture space in under two minutes, the girl turning a blue-ish green colour, he released her neck, and threw her into one of his larger cages. She turned to a Werewolf as soon as her neck was released, but by then it was too late. He took a cleaver, and took on a far-away expression, this was where he shined. He used his tendrils of Shadows too restrain her, and cut off one of her fingers simply, no taqunting, that wasn't his style. She howled out in exquisite pain, her lips peeling back into an incredible snarl. She tried to leap forward, but Luther impaled her with a rusty iron Machete, pinning her to the floor, his Drink pouring quite fervently now. He absorbed it, and made a few crude shadow wasps, they tried to sting her but she managed to bat them away. Luther grinned, and simply beheaded her, absorbing the remaining blood. He cleaned himself off, and ran back upstairs, and continued on towards the Main Room.

“Luther! I changed my mind” For one that resented noise, Cosette was awfully loud herself as she stood in the door way calling out his name without the slightest hint of consideration for any others in the halls. She hadn't even bothered to knock and instead simply barged right into his room. An entire line of insults had then ensued, greatly disapproving of his living quarters, complaining endlessly about how disgusting it looked and probably smelled. Cosette didn't know how it might smell, because her hand was over her button nose the instant she had seen the havoc of his room. She didn't even want to step in further, muttering on under her breath, scolding Luther for even considering the option of having her bring anyone back here.
It registered then that he might not even be here, not that Cosette could see a lot from her poor vantage point in the doorway. With a huge and melodramatic 'last breath', Cosette decided to step inside on a search for her new friend. She carefully tip toed, awkwardly avoiding anything sort of disgusting substance coating the floor
“Where the hell are you? Stop making me yell! I don't feel like--” The bedroom caught her fragile attention, Or rather; The poster lining the walls did. It wasn't so bad in there...just bookcases, a bed, old and boring meaningless stuff. Though, Ever the curious kitten; She tip toed her way over to the desk to snatch a peak at some notes laying about for the whole world to see. One shouldn't leave things out if they don't want just anyone reading them. Cosette sure wasn't about to touch it though, the papers didn't exactly look sanitary; but she peered over, Skimming the pages.
And discovered her new friend was probably just as, if not five times more deranged, demented, and insane than Cosette.

Luther stumbled into the room, blood still staining his gloved hands, his eyes still wide with the power of his torture. His hair was a mess and he still had one of his Cleavers in his hands, he dropped it at the sight of Cosette reading his notes. He quickly jumped around expecting to see Armand, but disappointingly he didn't, he sighed, he was looking forward to this. "I expect you wouldn't believe that I am borrowing this apartment?" He asked meekly, as if he had been caught stealing cookies from a jar instead of grizzly torturing his Victims. He clapped his hands and his attire became straightened and all the blood was cleared from his face. He put on his op hat, and looked down at his feet, "i suppose you are going to try to make me feel guilty for what I have been doing; but I don't, I relish it, every single second of it. My research will please the Void and will give me power beyond my wildest imagination, if that means that a few Peasants have to be sacrificed then so be it; Welcome to the Cabal, Madame" He said in a sinister tone of voice, a smile on his face.

Cosette edged away from him, Cautious little steps in the other direction. However, She didn't skirt away from him in a display of fear that had bubbled up after reading all those heinous and terrible things scribbled on the pages. Instead; She was putting distance between herself and all his bloodied clothing. Cosette simply did not want him to touch her with those dirty hands, Visibly grimacing at the mere thought of it. She relished in her pristine perfection and she wasn't about to let her insane friend blemish her appearance because he was still giddy doing those..experiments.
“I'm not going to make you feel guilty.” Cosette hesitated, pausing for a sidewards glance back at the notes and then she causally shrugged like it matter little to her. “Like I said before, I just think you have issues.” Her tone was level and calm, but there was something about her stiff composer that betrayed hints of just what she was thinking. Little twitches of her slender fingers, A couple sift glances at the door for a mental calculation of the steps require to reach it, her perfect teeth nervously nibbling at her pouty lower lip. Cosette wasn't genuinely frightened, But Luther's notes had put her on edge. Now, If he hadn't dropped that cleaver, Fear might actually have crept into those pretty blue eyes. As soon as he clapped his hands and magically removed the blood at the very least his face, A sigh of relief escaped from her small figure as her body relaxed the slightest. Well, One less thing to be worried about. And, if Luther lost all logic and decided to make an experiment out of her, Cosette would at least be slightly cleaner in the end.
“I changed my mind.” Cosette muttered, smoothing her hands down her blouse and brushing off any imaginary dust that must have accumulated on her after being in such a filthy place. “The Spanish is infatuated with me. I figured I would have some fun milking out all the possible recourses from him first. So, Darlin'; You are just going to have to wait. That, Or find someone else to be the first victim in our murder spree .”

Luther smiled slightly, sitting on the edge of his bed, leaning his head back slightly. "My issues are my own business, I reserahc what I research because no other has the courage to do it, that is not a crime, it is bravery." He didn't bother to try and scold her for browsing through his notes, she had the air that suggested if something wasn't hidden in a small lead box under a lot of very tough floorboards then it was her right to read it, if it were any other he would have contimplated shouting, but Cosette wasn't worth the breath that he didn't need to breathe. "Do not be afraid of me, as you know without your Charm I would not be able to conduct my research" He looked up with a highly humorous grin, his eyes glinting, "I presume that you do not return this Infatuation, little miss perfect. It had been a moment of informality, she was in HIS area, he felt that he may be as informal as he liked, but he didn't dare to do anything seriously dangerous; he didn't want to make her mad and have her tell the Elders about his little plans. "I will wait, that Spaniard deserves to be the first to feel my Scalpel searching for answers, Anasthetic is expensive after all." He narrowed his eyes in a sinister manner, getting to his feet again. "Would you like some Fresh blood?" He asked kindly, he knew that he had a Frsh human downstairs, he didn't even look starved or tortured; yet.

When Luther accused her of being in the least bit frightened, Cosette forced a laugh, Light and airy; But very much fake. Sure, She was a little scared. She was in the domain of a deranged, psychopath vampire scientist with horrid torture methods and blood on the mind. And not to leave out the fact that dear Luther was quite a bit stronger and she was willing to bet that most of his strength wasn't simply inherited from the void, But stolen from others. Yet, Cosette remained well composed, trying to press more effort and disgust into his bloody appearance and how very important it was that she remain clean.
“No, Of course I didn't 'return his infatuation'. Please, I have much much higher standards than some Spanish.” A taint of scorn has touched her tone, momentarily despising Luther for even frightening her in the first place, but also daring to insinuate she would a line herself with someone like that smug, arrogant Spanish that saw her as nothing more than a prise. Luther's offer for blood, something that might have pleased any other vampire; merely set her off again; Her childish tempter fuming.

“What, Someone from down there in your scary torture chambers? Someone probably so traumatized they won't even fight back. Oh, And I'm sure its absolutely sanitary there, Yes? Not a speck of blood on the floor, walls impeccably clean...” Cosette paused, crossing her arms over her poorly endowed chest. She didn't allow him a chance to reply and instead went right on rambling, finding comfort in the sound of her own voice. “ No, I didn't think so. And don't even bother telling me where exactly you find theses poor victims, Because I'm sure they weren't from upstanding surroundings. Do you pick people that won't be missed? Because,m I assure you, That sort of blood isn't going anywhere near these lips.” She heisted again, inhaling a deep breath so she could continue on, briefly waving a small hand around the room, gesturing wildly at the mess called his room to demonstrate her next point. “ And One more thing Creepy; I don't know what in god's name possessed you to think I would bring The Spanish back here, He wouldn't have believed for an instant that I lived in this filthy place. ”

Luther stood up, and threw a knife at the wall just next to Cosette, his face turning into a vicious and impertanent scowl, "Now listen here, Humans are scum, the amounts of Friends i have lost to them is innumerable, so I take some of them, Equivalent Trade at it's finest!" He stormed out of the room into the entrance room, and opened the small trapdoor, squeezing his way through. He saw Cosette at his heels, he smiled viciously, his eyes blazing. "You see milady, I do have issues, issues with this horrible little speck known as the World, the Void is much more of a welcome companion. He entered into his Sanctum of Torture, and showed her tHuman he had obtained; it was the Mayor's sister, she still looked like a high society woman, and was lounging on a comfy looking chair; granted she was strapped to it by several brutal looking Leather straps, and she had a gag, but apart from that she was just as she was a few hours ago. "Now you see, you may sample the American nobility, this chance is once in a lifetime, choose wisely." He sat down, waving his arms theatrically, looking at her bemusedly, "Choose wisely ma'am."

There was the slightest sound of a frightened little squeak heard from her as the knife flew past. Cosette was positive that it wasn't intended to hurt her, that Luther had much better aim than that; But it had still manged to do it's task and set Cosette straight and for once in the past few minutes, She was quiet. Luther had begun rambling once a more about how 'terrible' humans were and while she was only half paying attention to whatever he was raging on about that had something to do with lost friends, She couldn't help but follow as he left the room, ever as curious as a kitten.
It wasn't so bad down there, bearable actually and while she would never in a thousand years admit it, She had been wrong and Luther's offer was suddenly so very appealing. It was the one that she had first set eyes on that Cosette instantly wanted, merely because the women looked well cared for despite those vicious straps. It was so much easier than stalking those wealthy Americans herself. The high class of this age was a paranoid bunch, their houses threaded with all sorts of security devices and cameras. And Cosette, a century behind in mind; didn't notice those awful advancements in technology until it was too late and those dreadful alarms were shrieking and she was retreating getting a terrible headache and an still very much hungry.
“You don't have any plans for her, do you?” Cosette muttered, Not exactly waiting for a reply or at the very least permission before she began taking little steps towards the chair that held the women captive. She was already fumbling with the leather straps, unlatching them with giddy anticipation for a struggle. Though, Cosette hesitated for an instant, hovering over the last couple of straps; Her abnormal blue eyes flickering towards Luther. “Does she scream?”
PostPosted: Mon May 19, 2008 1:26 pm

Luther smiled viciously, getting up in a flashy way, his hands twirling in mid-air, his knees bending into a theatrical bow. "She does not scream, she gave up screaming a long time ago" He remembered her screams of help as he quickly snatched her from the shadows, her cries of anguish as he started to strap her to the chair and the amount of screaming that she erupted when he hit her, meaning it as a warning to STOP screaming, he sighed, people could be so difficult. "She is simply something I did on a whim, you may do whatever you wish with her; this freedom is what I feel everyday, just enjoy it Cosette, let your golden curls down and just enjoy the rush of excitement as the warm high society blod pours down your throat.

“You speak like I haven't done such before, Darling.” Cosette murdered, but her attention was no longer place on Luther; entirely focused in the women. She was unlatching the remainder of the leather straps, a tedious task that left her fingers twitching with impatient anticipation. Despite Luther insisting the women no longer had a scream left in her, Cosette left the gag securely in place deicing better to be safe than sorry. With her lithe frame and mock innocence, Cosette didn't very much look it but she was strong. Not nearly as strong as one ought to be at her age, But compared to the human; She had the supreme advantaged.
Unsure wither the women' might struggle or nor, she didn't allow for a moment for such discoveries. In the flicker of a second, with a movement so swift that Cosette's hand didn't seem to move at all. Her hand was simply along the chair one instant, and the next; Her palm had slammed against the women's delicate wrist, pressing down grinding bone and flesh into the hard surface of the of the dreadful chair. She pressed so hard, yet with so little extended effort, that sickening pops and cracks were heard as the bones shattered and broke under the wight of her white hand. It didn't stop there, because while the bones snapped on the left, Cosette had managed to catch the other hand where it too fell victim to the harsh punishment. The shoulders were next, each finished with one vivaciously swift shove of her hand against the joint dislocating and tearing ligaments on contact.
Despite just how thrilling it was to hear the pops, the twisted sense of control's held over the women's limbs and the perfectly clean torture that left Cosette laughing like a deranged child with a brand new toy; She had very good reason. Because the pain, the struggled; made the blood pump with ferocity, the frightened heart pumping with vigor and warming the blood to such a delicious degree. There was another crack somewhere, something that Cosette had stomped her small booted foot against, but she was growing impatient with the task; skipping a few limbs and going straight for the throat.
She didn't linger or hesitate any longer, pressing forward and simply tore into the delicate flesh with those teeth, Spilling blood before she clamped her lips over the devastating wound and drank.

Luther watched the torture with excitement and glee, seeing such a lady commiting such painful torture was the most satisfying thing he had seen since London, where he slaughtered most of the House of Commons in a fit of bloodlust and rage. He heard the bones crack like a symphony of Pain, the blunted squeeks of the Woman becoming a trumpet whail in the massive composition, the snaps becoming the Snare Drums, and her heart beating becoming the Bass, the band played on, the exquisite pain of the torture radiating from the struggling Woman, and then it was over in the grand finnalé, the massive gouge in the neck and the consumption of the delicious blood, he mock applauded, "Encor! Encor! Bravisimo!" He playfully smirked as she finished, and bowed, "A wonderful show milady, a fantastic performance if I can say so." He licked his lips, cricking his neck. "You have me hungry, now, milady" He dashed into the back of the room, where the shadows masked the more grizzly devices, he pulled out a woman of twenty years, he had found her unconcious in the gutter; he couldn't just leave her there, that'd be Ungentleman-like.

“Is that why you were so eager to lure me down here, wanted a little show? Using me for your own sick enjoyment?” She was laughing; satisfied and high on the blood that colored her cheeks and warmed her fingers. The very scent of it in the air held her incredibly mellowed, so at ease now despite the childish temper tantrum she had demonstrated upstairs. While Luther slithered off into the shadows to retrieve something; Cosette had pulled the dead women from the chair with a little tug, simply allowing the body to crumble to the floor behind her with a dull thud. Then, She planted her rear down on the chair, despite how heinous it may be with all those leather straps, She claimed it as her very own thrown. Fit for the queen she ought to have been.
“And what are you going to do with her? Going to put on a show for me now, Creepy?” Now, That girl didn't look very appealing, she looked like she was straight off the street. Or at the very least dirty. If Cosette hadn't been mellowed by the recent gorging of blood, She might very well have been edging around the walls again but instead, She was just giggling, amused by the women's probable poor unfortunate fate.
PostPosted: Mon May 19, 2008 2:35 pm

"Partly; but most because I thought that some high society blood may calm you down, I can't have my little partner in crime starting to fear me, can I? Do not flee and you shall get lots more like the woman, you could even get Royalty if I can wrangle myself a ticket to England, the sky is the limit, madame." He looked at the woman he had dragged out, he had simply been hungry, he had never been much of a showman. "I would show you my feeding method, but you would have to promise not to be disgusted, can you promise that, madame?" He grinned, he decided to do it anyway, he didn't care anymore. He put on his Thumb Talons, his grin widening. "I believe you saw these things in the park." He said in a pleasant voice, quickly rubbing them against each other, causing sparks to fly into the darkness. He pulled the woman an inch from him, and breathed on her, the unhideable stench of death and blood wafting straight into her face. She screamed, but he quickly silenced her with his right hand. "You're out of luck, ma'am." He whispered, and brought his left talon across diagnolly, tearing through the muscle of her left shoulder, he twirled and kicked her into a chair, he then launched his right Talon, which tore deep into her stomach, blood pumping from it, he stopped most of the blood escaping by using the shadows that surrounded the room like a shroud, and slashed again, this time managing to slit her throat quickly, with a sound of ripping felt, it slowly opened. He brought the Talons back into twirls and swings and great loops, they sometimes appeared to go through each other in the magnicent flurry of swipes, she was irrecognisable by the end, and he let the blood flow. He held out his hand, the purple gem embedded in it started to glow, and the blood started to dissolve in a cone going directly to the palm of his hand, going straight into his veins, instantly giving him an energy boost. He saw the butchered corpse, and grinned like a child who had gotten a new toy. "Hmm, Blood type 0 positive, high amount of drug use and alcohol, and just a hint of tobacco, lovely."

Cosette didn't like that Luther was still insisting that she had been fearful, But his bribes of royal blood held her from saying anything in disagreement. Instead, It plastered an excited grin on that doll face, full of agreement for whatever he had in mind. And so, She waited with bated breath and silence while Luther put on his gruesome show, holding the poor women captive in his arms. As the women screamed; Cosette's dainty hand instantly clamped over her ears in a vain attempt to block out the sheik. If she hasn't just been supplied a rich source of blood, The scream would probably have left her with a probable headache and a very sour mood. However, Luther blissfully silenced the women and Cosette, still immensely giddy and full of excitement; watched the scene from under that headful of golden curls.
Cosette discovered then that Luther wasn't in the least bit reserved when it came to causing a mess, spilling blood left and right with each vicious tear of those gruesome talons. The poor women didn't even have the sliver of a chance, gutted and slashed apart. It was a scene straight from modern day horror moves, with Luther playing the lead villain role. Cautious of the blood spill, Cosette drew up her knees to her chest despite the contained splatter swallowed up by the shadows. There were no visible signs of disgust or repulsion while the body was torn apart, in fact; If anything the only expression that touched Cosette's perfect face was amazement. Luther was one sick, twisted murder and Cosette had managed to plant herself, straight in the middle of his horror movie. If anything, The gruesome display sparked another hint of fear in her core.
“Drugs? That is completely and utterly disgusting. I can't believe you could even fancy that.” It was all she managed to mutter out, much more repulsed over the quality of the blood than the quality of it she had just seen spilled about. “That is gross. Seriously.”
