CONGRATULATIONS!
I don't always like babies either, but they are cute. Even if they're crying, they're not nearly as annoying as, say, cell phones or when some brat has to carry his bulky plastic battery-powered beepy musical toys with him everywhere. The rest of the waiting room knows what the wheels on the bus go, dear, and we don't need to hear it twenty thousand million times. (Not like I'm going to deprive my hypothetical offspring of all sorts of battery-powered gizmos. Part of the fun of babysitting is playing with the stuff you wish you'd had. sweatdrop )
I'm the second oldest on either side; none of my cousins are married yet, and probably the only way I'll ever manage to get married is if I bribe someone. Like, with a dowry.
(DOES ANYONE HAVE A SPARE COW OR THREE? CHICKENS ARE FINE TOO)

It's true. Babies are also not as annoying as grade seven and eight kids walking down the halls with their arms linked when your class is on the other side of the school, forcing you to have to threaten them with your textbook to get through. They are also not as annoying as grade nine kids who think they are The s**t. Or that one grade ten couple who walks around all blah blah kissy all the time.

My cousins in their 20/30s all have boyfriends or girlfriends, and one of them has even settled down with one of them (who i get along with amazingly well, and wish I could see her more often sad ) but Im likely to be the first to have kids. Unless my sister beats me to it. She REALLY wants kids. Like, as soon as possible. xD One cousin looked like she was going to get married, but then she and her boyfriend broke up kind of unexpectedly.
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOUR SISTER! She looks very happy and well, which is always good news. smile

I remember my mum telling me that after a couple of years of being married to my dad, she was suddenly all "WANT BABIES NOW! GIMME!" to him. Says she feels sorry for him now; apparently wanted them so much she couldnt hold another woman's baby without bursting into tears! So I can see where my sister gets it from. wink And if you're not sure, I'd wait several years before you do anything drastic like get an operation for PERMANENT contraception or something. Apparently it does happen to most women, even if they DONT want kids when they're younger. Odd, huh?
