So right now i really feel the need to praise gaia. I know there are days when i lose faith in it due to the advertisements and inflation, but today something happened that really restored my faith in the system.

Last year, around christmas time, i had ordered an omg hat for my sister (who also plays gaia) as a gift, it didn't show up for a couple of months and, after waiting a good month and i half i started worrying i had messed up something in the ordering process (like a dummy, i hadn't saved the order number). So i ordered a cash card as a test. I wanted the kitty anyway, and it seemed like the best way to test whether i had messed something up or not. If the cash card failed to show, i would know it wasn't my fault and would have a number to check the progress with, and if it did i would have something as a replacement gift.

So months later, neither have showed up and i decided to send an email to the gaia store providing them with the number and an inquiry as to whether or not anything could be done. I expected little, as emails sent inquiring about wrongly banned accounts rarely come up with much. Boy, was i wrong.

Shortly after i sent the email (like within the same day!) i received a reply. They had been able to look up my card info. It had been sent, but obviously i hadn't received it so they canceled the old one (i assume they have a way of knowing whether they've been used or not, as this one obviously hadn't been), and sent a new one out via fedex (with a tracking number!) so we could figure out exactly what had gone wrong with the u.s. mail (if anything). Also, they said if i had a transaction or receipt number from paypal they could do more in the way of investigating what had happened to that order as well.

So happily, i've sent them the transaction number for the payment, the date paypal gives me for the transaction, confirmed the address they had on file, and await my package. But boy, does gaia ever know how to take care of their customers! It hadn't even been an entire day before i received a reply and they had already rectified half of the problem! <333

tl;dr
Gaia has AMAZING customer service for their gaiastore! I was skeptical about buying anything from there anymore, as i didn't know whether it would get here or not but now i think it may even be time to start browsing the new products and see what suits my fancy. wink

Well of course they treat their PAYING customers well. xD

(Actually I think they have an entirely different department looking after the store).
I wouldn't expect anything less from them anyway. xP

Update: They were able to track down my OMG and send it out to me, even though i didn't have the order number. (I gave them the transaction ID from paypal and they found it from there) They put it into the fedex package along with my cash card, and i have a tracking number now!

I'm absolutely teeming with excitement.

Q: lots of wrongly banned members were paying customers as well. Some of them donated regularly, but after being banned gave up.
