 "Great... just great..." Xinavane sighed as she wandered away from her now-huge family once again. New babies, her siblings, what was a girl to do? And they had problems before. How were they supposed to be on the run when they had such a big family, and now more baby cubs crawling around? Doomed. Doomed. And thus, she needed anoher break... which meant, in simple terms, she needed to run away again. Just for a few hours at least, until she was free for a while.
What she needed to do was have a little fun. But kicking back was so often more harder than it seemed... especially on her own. Sometimes she could get her siblings to join in, but with them, it was almost as though her nerves went through the roof. It was easier, really, when she was with somoene who didn't know what was going on. Someone who wouldn't worry about her and her family, and what was happening too them. That only made her feel worse, in the end.

Nazih'Matata happily troted along as he walked. He was once again trying to take his mind off of his past, why did those lions have to come and kill his mother and most likly his father too...
He lifted his head for a moment as a nice shady tree came into view. He grinned as he crouched down looking at a weed that was standing up. He 'stalked' it, keeping low to the ground with a smirk on his face, then he lept into the air and pounced near it grabbing it between his paws and nipping at it.

As xinavane wandered, she heard the sounds of someone nearby... So she looked up and saw a tree. And there, playing under it, was another lion... Which was a little odd, since he -rather like her- was out there without his parents around. She had never met another cub her own age out there... so it was a little mind blowing for a second.
"Someone... else?"She mumbled, before she moved little more quickly towards the other cub, and saw that he was playing. Now... she wasn't sure what to do. She had plenty of siblings... but she wasn't used to this.

Nazih stopped for a moment as the smell of another filled his nose, then he heard a voice. His gaze moved to who ever it was and he grinned. "Hello!" He called out pushing himself up and wandering over to the female, he gave a small bow. "Hi! I'm Nazih and who are you?" He asked pawing at her. It was another cub, it wouldn't hurt.

Xinavane blinked, still a little unsure of herself in the presence of a cub who wasn't family. Especially one that looked so... well... Happy. That really wasn't normal, at least not for her, "Um... I'm Xinavane." It wasn't like using her name would come back to haunt her, right? No one except her family knew it.

Nazih stoped for a moment and looked up. He thought he heard another cub and he was right. His ears perked up as he looked over at the other cub and grinned. "HI!" He called out standing up and wandering over. "My name is Nazih. Who are you?" He pawed at the female, with a friendly smile.

Nazih grinned at the female. "Thats a nice name Xinavane, can I call you Xina?" He asked as politly as possible. The cub smiled and flicked his tail behind him. "Why are you out here alone?" He knew why he was out alone and it was odd to see anyother cub out here alone. He really wasn't used to seeing other cubs around.

Xinavane smiled a little, relaxing now that she had started to talk. It really wasn't all that different from talking to her own siblings, right? "You can call me Xina if I can call you Zih." That carried a bit of a teasing sound too it, but it was generally friendly, as Xinavane had never really considered herself mean... though her parents had called her rude before, "And I was just taking a walk... away from my family, they were being noisy. What about you?"

"Of course you can." He laughed slightly and pawed at the female with a grin until she asked him his own question back. "Umm..." He thought about if he should just tell her. "My parents are dead... All of my family is." He practicly choked the words. He looked up at the female right away changing the subject. "You ummm.. Want to play?" He asked.

Xinavane couldn't believe it. Almost five seconds into the conversation, and she had said something to upset him. How could she have possibly been that stupid? Still, at least he had managed his own recovery by offering to play with her... If thinking about his family made him upset, then he wanted to do something that made him happy. It made sense to her. "Oh... Okay! Sure, I'd love to play!" She said immediatly. She hated seeing people upset... So that meant she had to make sure he was happy!

Naizh smiled happily. He jumped up on his paws and smiled widely. "What do you want to play!?" He asked with a lot of optimism. he bounced around on his paws and pawed at her for a moment. "Tag? Or hide-and-seak, there lots of places to hid around here." He said with a smile. He grinned and flipped his mini-mane out of his eyes.

"Um... I say... TAG!" Xinavane announced quickly, reaching out and tapping his nose, "You're it!" With that, she took off, trying her best to get a good head-start. This way, he wouldn't have any time to think about something sad... that wouldn't be any good at all!

Nazih blinked slightly caught off gaurd at the female tagging him. He flicked his tail behind him and jumpped up. "Oh!" He giggled and started to chase after. His little paws pounded on the ground as he did, he loved running, and this was a good way to make a new friend.

Xinavane grinned as he chased after her. There, now that had worked out nicely hadn't it? Now the thing was... where was she supposed to run too? She had plenty of siblings, so running around wasn't what she would call hard, but she didn't know this territory well... So, mostly all she could do was run around in circles.
