The weather had finaly warmed up enought that all the mud had dryed up. Elimitating one source of fun for Cadi and right now she didn't feel like going to the river to play, as it was a little to hot in the sun. But she did have some dyed mud on her paws and on her tails along with some plantlife from the bushes. Looking so not lady-like that Jayn was so trying to get Cadi to be.
Currently sitting up a tree waiting for others to walk under the tree to pounce them. But she wasn't exactly trying to hide the fact that she was up there. As she was on the lowest branch of the tree in full view of anyone comming up on the tree and she was also not paying too much attention with her eyes half closed enjoying the song birds.

Pink tails swayed in light sweeps, the tips clean and the fur shining. It was always an issue of concern to keep well groomed of course. His ribbon of smoothie-mango bounced with his trot, Geisha making his way on the worn kitsu path. He wasn't sure just where it led, but it seemed safer and better directed than walking through the woods.
Chocolate paws halted on the path, and chocolate ears gave a small twitch. Hmm? What was that? Soft eyes peeked passed his light hair, tilting up to the tree in question. It was green, yes, but it was too...moving to be leaves. Able to see limbs and three tails, Geisha was quick to determine it was a young kitsu. Curiously, the adult settled under the tree, wrapping tails around his legs and blinking patiently. Oro?

Only when the birds stop there singing did Cadi relize that there was someone there with her. One of her ears swiviled to a sound and she was trying to figure out were. Then it dawned on her that the sound was comming from below her. Paws held onto the tree as she looked over the branch and saw the purple Kitsu below waiting. Which was odd to Cadi as most others she had just down out right pounced or they had asked her why she was up there. Just that curosity saved him for right now from being pounced and the fact that he looked like he was waiting for her to say something.
Jumping down from the tree on the other side of the other kitsu to be somewhat polite. Cadi went up to the other and walked around him checking him out as he was so well groomed that nagged her at the conner of her mind but let it be. She sat down trying to figure out what to say as he stumped her, but then thought at least be a little polite. "I'm Cadi. Also what are you doing. Just takeing a walk in the forest?" she asked and then remember that he remined her of Jayn.

A smile crossed his muzzle gently as eyes finally turned his direction. So, it was a kitsu, and at least now he knew it was awake. Tails drifted before wagging in a sort of greeting to the teen. How on earth did she get up that tree? It must have put splinters in her paws, no? Geisha kept these thoughtful ponderings to himself, waiting in his spot to see what the other would do. It was often funny to see how a stranger reacted on first visits. Rudely, humorously, they were all different.
Eyes blinked when suddenly the teen hopped off the tree, and the adult just tilted his head to watch. His shoulders seemed to cringe seeing the dirt and foliage on her fur as she circled him. The male couldn't help chuckling in his sunshined voice, amused to her curiousity. Only when she sat and finally spoke did he decide to respond. "Well, hello Cadi. I was beginning to wonder when you'd introduce yourself. Hm, I guess I am. Yes, just out on a walk today since the weather is really nice. Are you doing the same?"

"I didn't mean to be rude but you just take a long look. As you look different to other kitsus that I have met. But I must say that you got nicer greeting than other I have met," As her tails swayed behind her and she gave a evilish grin. "Not exactly. I was hopeing that there would have been some mud puddles to play in and I didn't want to play near the river today." As she wondered if he like to play, but she desided to ask later. "Then I was going to pounce others that came close to the tree I climbed up, but the nice weather made me a little sleepy," she said answering his question.
"So are you going any where specific or would you like to play with me?" she asked as she saw that he was so clean and looked down at her own paws and tryed to brush off some of the dry mud.

Head tilt. "I take a long look? Well, I suppose if that is a good thing, then thank you." Geisha bobbed his head lightly, only hoping it was a compliment and not an insult. Older eyes lit in amusement to the youth's grin, only to shake his head to her comments on mud. "Goodness deary, why don't you prefer the river to the mud though? I would think it is much cooler to dip in, plus it doesn't paste to your fur afterwords."
Then he blinked, and gave a bashful shake of his head and a paw. "Oh no no, thank you though. I'm afraid I don't make for the rowdy play type with dirt and such." Besides, the most of play he ever did nowadays were in the realms outside of childhood.

"You are just different and intersting and your welcome," One of the lessons Jayn taught that had stuck with her, others not so much. "Water dosen't have to much feel that mud does. With mud I can shape it and feel it squish between my toes." As she spread her toes out she saw that they were a little more dirty than she thought. "Well I guess that I should clean up a little," she said sheephly and that it was getting a lot warmer and the river sounded nice now.
Then a good idea came to her head. If he didn't like mud, then the river would be a good place too. "But it will be fun." she said and gave him very big puppy eyes. Some of the time it worked with Jayn and she had to give it a try with him "How does the river sound? Also whats your name?"

Different and interesting? He supposed so then, if even a kit could think and say that.
"Well, thank you then." Lip lifted though as the teen spoke of mud, and lifting her feet to demonstrate the mud. Yikes! Cure they walked around in dirt all the time...but to let mud crust over like that? Who knows, maybe Geisha was just too used to concerning over appearance. It is how others judged you, after all. "Yeah, I will agree with you there and suggest a small bath. No need to get flaked fur, hm?"
Ears fell back in confusion as Cadi's eyes seemed to suddenly get...bigger....and glossier. Eh? "Oh, you mean to play in the river?" Well...he didn't have any plans for today. So what could it hurt? "Okay then, why not. And my name is Geisha; sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier."

"That is so true. Sometimes I do forget when I play around the forest and I know that Jayn hates it when I play out here. I normally don't get this dirty for too long." she said sheepishly and a little quiet and she was now embarrassed at the state of her fur, as Geisha much nicer looking than she was.
Ears perked up when he said that he would come and smiled. "Yep, thats right," as she stood up waiting for him to follow. "Don't worry, its very nice to meet you as well," As her tails waged just a little.

Geisha whispered a giggle, amused to think one could forget feeling dirt clinging to them. Didn't it bother their fur? "Oh? I take it then that Jayn is your...mother? Guardian?" The adult shrugged for whatever the answer may be. "Either way, she sounds like such a pleasant individual. Heh, and one that knows about cleanliness." He smiled lightly, while at the same moment pawing some mud off Cadi's long hair.
Moving to stand too, Geisha swept his tails calmly. "Alright then. Let's go visit this clear river!"

"Well she is in a sence my mother, but we are not related in anyway. She was around before I hatched. As of right now she has her paws full with two new addictions and my her terms they are a lot easier than I am to take care of." As she thought of Arken and how he is just a push over and really funny to watch when he saw anything blue on other. "She is, but we butt heads on the fact that I'm a tom boy and not her little girl. Later I will have to take you to meet her, if you want," And not really minding that he pawed some of the dirt out of her hair but none the less she blushed.
Leading the way the when to one of the near by rivers that was deep enough to play in and slow enought that there wasn't mud on the bottom. This location was one spot that had once had something tied in the tree but all that was left was a long rope that hung in one of the tree branches near the deep part of the river. Running to the rope and graping it in her teeth, swings over the water and lets go ploping into the water. "Come on Geisha" she waved him over. "Try swinging on the rope. Its a lot of fun!"

Oh, well that was common enough. "I see. But you must hold her in deep respects, seeing how often you speak of her." He chuckled to himself, having realized that condition. People usually did care for the ones they talked most of, even if not aware of it. A brow lifted, wondering just how...handful the other kits were then. Maybe she could use help in watching them?
His thoughts ended as they finally made it to their location. A calm and wide stream of clear water to pounce around in. How nice! Geisha smiled and trotted up to the water, dipping a paw in to test the temperature. "Oh!" The male flicked ears up, just catching Cadi fly through the air. He jumped up quickly and away from the...tiny...splash, before turning back and watching in amusement.
"I think...I'm too heavy for the rope deary." He waved nervously, doubting he could even swing as well as she did.

When hearing if her fur was a different color he would have seen that she was blushing at the fact that she had never realized that she cared for Jayn as Geisha had said. Most of the time they fought over the girly things Cadi didn't like. But she did love hanging out with her and the young ones. Now her respect for Geisha had risen, even if he did look a little girly. But for now she wouldn't admit that fact for now.
"Come on and try. You need some excitment in your life every now and then." she said trying to convince him. "I can even help ya if you want. Its not to hard," As she was swimming back to shore. With that little bit of water washing the dirt from her fur did her markings show much better.

Hm? Geisha tilted his head toward Cadi, blushing himself for his own weight concern. What if the rope snapped? That'd be really embarrassing. But it was also rude to have the other waiting on him too. Sigh. The adult perked his tails though, smiling politely as he sat back. "Alrighty, just give me a moment. Okay?" His front paws were already making work to untie his tail bow. Then he gently laid it against a fallen trunk to stay clean.
Now for the excitement! Trotting forward, the male soon jumped for the rope. And he caught it! And he was swinging! Wait...now he was going back....oh! That's right, he has to let go! Moving teeth from the rope, the kitsu squirmed as he fell backwards into the water. "Yikes! It's cool~" Dx;

She just nodded and waited for him to come in. Excited that he did use the rope, so she watched him swing over the water and then back but he look ever so graceful with he did that. Then when he did let go he fell in backwards, but then she thought at least it was his belly and that hurts.
"You are such a pro at that!! My first time doing that I landed on my belly with a large smack and that hurt." As she rupped her belly at the thought of it. Swimming up to Geisha and started to splash him as she was smileing and laughing. Oh she was haveing so much fun!
