I have just started mowing the lawn, and I am using one of those old push mowers:

Like that, except rusty. It is a bit of a workout...

So, how "green" have you gone?

Well... I'm off to finish the lawn...

I dont have a lawn just a balcony! But i do my green stuff I recycle my bottles and paper. I have energy saving light bulbs and very rarely use the centre heating. I use local food when i can fish being the main one.

if i had my choice i'd use only energy effecient things and i'd have solar panels as well . . . but nooo it's to expensive they say . . . i can't wait till i can afford it myself . . . pay a lot for solar panels now . . . never worry bout electricity later . . . sounds like a good trade off to me . . .

Where I live, it's always windy, so we have a windmill (or whatever it's called).. It paid for itself in three months.

see that's what i think would happen . . . free energy could pay for it's self at a rate soooo much quicker . . . and with all the tech we have nowadays there's bound to be something you can use to get free energy . . . windmills, solar panels, you can even get electricity from a river . . . you can heat your home by digging a hole in the ground to where it's deep enough it's constantly hot . . . there's so many ways but people just don't do it . . .

Wouldn't that be really, really deep?

But anyways.
I recycle, take mass transit, and try to use non-petroleum based products. Organic stuff too. I try to carry a big enough bag, so I don't have to get store's bags when I shop.
I need to get a bag for grocery shopping.

i saw it on dirty jobs i think . . . i can't remember exactly how deep . . . but they seemed to take it fairly easy . . . so i don't think it's too insanely deep . . .

I live under the parent's roof still, so I don't worry about the greenery. (Its sort of their thing). When I do move out, I hopefully will have a small yard that I'll be able to maintain with one of those. Otherwise, I'm going to make it into a rock garden....if I don't have to worry about resell.....

erm.... I think Starbucks uses recycled paper of their cup holders....

I'm not very eco-friendly ><: I do want a hybrid eventually. When they've finally worked all the bugs out and you can see which makes are the best.
