Saburi ..... loves the classics. Even at a young age she seems convinced that some things will never go out of style.

Her favorites include Stevie Wonder and Natalie Cole, The Jackson Five, some Jennifer Hudson, and some India Arie being the only two artists of the modern day she listens to so far. Her fashion sense reflects her love of the old days too, at least in that she prefers dresses and flared boot cut pants and heels over trendy current clothes. She also seems to enjoy playing pretend. Maybe she'll aspire to be an actress? Only time will tell!

[ Personality ]
Tahja ..... This woman is every bit made up of dedication. Very composed and clear-headed she's wise in both emotional and practical matters, though her ever-present cool can cause her to come across as apathetic or distant. Her one and only true bad habit is working to the point of exhaustion and sometimes beyond. It is during research or work that she seems to transform into someone else entirely, and while absorbed in her book related tasks she can become completely enraptured in her studies, losing all track of time. This hit a particular high when she discovered and founded the "Guardians of Gaia", taking on the task herself to research Gaia's most ancient of spirits while still working her full time job as the head Librarian at her local library. Luckily enough Riiku came along before then and helped pull her head back out of the books. She has since then temporarily put aside her research for the "GoG" in hopes of focusing on her relationship with her then-boyfriend, now-husband. They have no children, but Tahja makes a loving aunt and caretaker for the dozens of pets that have been taken in along the way, and she's looking forward to eventual parenthood. She balances Orion quite nicely, thankfully, and has taken up helping him study the Karrick to busy herself now and then.

[ Personality ]
Kyou ..... Until Riiku came along Kyou was the reluctant second adult of the house. Short tempered to a fault, but caring deep down, this broody feline has grown into exactly what his walls have made him. It's doubtful that he'll ever be completely calm or rational, but with friends and family around to help him through he gets by just fine. He prefers to do things on his own, and is able to take care of himself just fine, he's just gotten used to a certain natural order of things. Now that Riiku and Tahja are married he's taken more time for his own interests (few as they are), but he can still be found sometimes trying to keep some semblance of order with all his little sisters running around. He and Tessa's relationship is, well, they get along like a cat and a mouse, literally. She enjoys pushing his buttons and he reacts every time. Lucky for them all that Sweetpea came along when she did. When she's over his temper manages to simmer some, but under all that bluster and hot air they all know that Kyou wouldn't change a thing.

Kyou ..... He studies Martial Arts. It's believed that he hopes to open a dojo of his own some day, though he gets horribly flustered if you even ask. Something about being married with kittens of his own by that point... His hobbies and likes are limited to spending time with Sweetpea and training. He loathes, loathes, LOATHES leeks and he greatly enjoys fish dishes.

[•] ..... History: ..... Who Kyou's real parents are is a mystery. Tahja adopted him when he was somewhat young and somehow managed to earn his respect and trust enough for him not to cause too many problems. When Tessa came along he had already gotten used to his new lot in life and had taken to handling most of the chores ["Only because that idiot would drive herself into an early grave overworking herself if I didn't! D8<"]. Tessa was already thirteen when she joined the family, so that was quite an interesting little addition. Right from the start the "siblings" formed a fast bond, and even though he yells almost constantly around her Kyou is protective never the less. It seems the one thing that he does that manages to get under Tessa's fur, too, as she hates being babied. Even now, as Tessa is sixteen and Kyou is eighteen, the two bicker and banter enough to put Tom and Jerry to shame (If Tom and Jerry could talk, that is.).
Kyou met Sweetpea through Tai's friend Emilie (Who is friends with both Koree Drae (Creator of Persopets) and Tahja.). There isn't much to say there, they have an adorable high-school-sweetehearts kind of thing going on. She was once incredibly shy, and Kyou, well, is Kyou. They balance one another, enough said.
Now when Riiku came along (And Tony shortly before) Kyou was initially distrusting and as angry as always. It was a long road to earn his trust, but in the end he realized that Riiku made Tai happy, and more impressively he seemed to curb her work-a-holic tendencies, even just a little. After a time Kyou came to trust the enigmatic man with his guardian's care, and began to step back as the man of the house to let Riiku take over. He's still fierce about his independence, though, and that can make him seem incredibly rebellious at times, but all in all Kyou gets along with everyone in the house and the girls still look to him as their big brother and one of their caretakers.
[ Personality ]
Tessa ..... Adopted from the Tahnee Orphanage at the age of thirteen, Tessa has been an energetic addition to the family ever since. She's constantly getting on her big brother's nerves, though she only does it for kicks and knows when to stop if he's getting genuinely upset. She enjoys many hobbies, unlike Kyou, of which writing her own music and playing the acoustic guitar is listed. She enjoys music like Michelle Branch, Taylor Swift, a bit of Vanessa Carlton, a bit of Paramore, and The Veronicas, Letters to Cleo, mostly music by female artists or lead singers.
