ROAL: Widespread reports of missed shipments struck the merchant community hard today as a major trading partner of the Barton area government, Frostschild, has gone dark.
[Change to an birds-eye view of Frostschild: an oasis in the middle of a deep snow drift, the piles of ice creating a wall around the sprawling city. Four silver-gold domes dominate the clearing, one in the center and three at equal distances apart. Nestled between the domes are fertile farmlands, heavy industrial facilities, and quaint Bavarian cottages, all seemingly untouched by the cold that surrounds them.]
PATRICIA: Michael Hunter joins us now from the GAIA 9 Action Chopper, to present the first of a multi-part investigation into what exactly happened at Frostschild.
[Ext. MICHAEL stands in the middle of the shot, framed by the door of the helicopter. Behind him is a brilliant white expanse of snow, and in the distance the peak of Frostschild's primary dome can be seen. He raises his voice to combat the sound of the helicopter's engine.]
MICHAEL: [Resentful.] Thanks, Patricia. Hope you're nice and warm at the anchor desk. [Taking a tone of professionalism.] We've just touched down on the ice about half a mile north of Frostschild. From above, the city seems unusually still, but we can't say anything for certain before we check it out on foot. Accompanying me this week is Cloud_666, an experienced adventurer and seasoned urban soldier.
