"Run....let me taste such succulant fear..."

The words came out as a mere heated breath, loud enough to be barely audiable that it almost appeared to come from one's self concious. She ran closely behind a young brown foal, the little b*****d cried out for its mother, father...anybody to save him from his fate. If he was a good little boy he would have listened to his parents not to be caught where the shadows lurked. He resignated his own fate the moment he took the stroll into her domain, where the shadows were but her playground of horrors. Perhaps, if she'd been a bit more in touch with her unicorn side...perhaps if she wasn't cast into the night he'd stand a chance.

It seemed perhaps it just wasn't his lucky night.

Easily Raven could take flight and take the colt down; break his bones one by one till his cries and torment would shut down his subconcious. She could easily just run a bit faster and give him a leathal bite; sink her fangs into his young and tender neck and taste the sweet blood as it rushed from his pierced jugular....yet who was she to end the game before she could have any fun. Besides, it was he who decided to be a noisy little t**t and wake her from an otherwise peaceful slumber.

...and you don't ******** wake Raven from her sleep without a death wish.

The colt gave another horrific cry, his young vocals shrill and starting to crack with the exertion of his whails and sobs; it was making the hybrid's blood boil that this wretch was starting to hurt her ears. Enough was enough, she bore of this game with such a pathetic opponent. It was time to end this colt's existance.

Pounding her blood red hooves against the ground to accelerate, she easily caught up to the colt and lashed out her jaws at one of his hind legs; easily crushing his bone and with one swift twirl of her head she let go and let the little thing crash against the truck of a tree. She smirked deviously as the sound of bones breaking and fracturing against the force; his agonized raw cry like music compared to that weak crying he'd been producing erlier. Licking her ebony lips, the large mare drew closer as her spade tail lashed through the air behind her; leather wings with clawed tips folding nearly against her sides. His body was shaking as his pupils began to shrink with the internal damage that must had been bleeding currently through his system. Even standing at her height she could hear the pounding of his heart as his body fought back shock; but he was so obviously falling into such a condition. She didn't have long before he would start to shut down, and he didn't fully understand the sins he comitted before she'd allow him to pass onto the afterlife.

Laughing out in a smoothly haunting chorus, she stepped upon his throat to close his breathing; albiet not completely. Drawing down she sunk her sharp canines into his soft flesh and began ripping away ruthlessly; causing the most sweet screams she'd heard to date to emit from his young lips. It wasn't long that he began to convulse as he bleed out profusely all over the twisted mare; and soon took his last pained breath from this world. Shame....but no matter; crushing his throat with added weight from her hoof; she began to feed on the remains of the colt. Filling her stomach with the sweet, sweet blood which was also currently splattered all over her body.

It didn't bother her; it just matched so nicely with her color scheme!

Since the treason and fall which his own kind had sentenced against him, the large stallion had wandered about the face of the land- cast out from the Heavens and the stars and left to rot in the world below. But was it right to even consider him a stallion? His glory was stripped from him and countenance dimmed as a more ghostly and non-tangible form seemed to overtake him while wounds adorned his body and chains strung around his body in any attempt to restrict and leave him to die. Whether it was fate or a damn struck of luck, the stallion had weasled his ways out of the chains and managed to survive as revenge fueled his hunger and the need for bloodshed seemed to overtake his thrist. As for his face, it was hidden behind a mask which would never be removed for the sake of a hideous and grotesque appearance which those above had cursed him with. Along from stripped from his home, the beast had not only lost his position above but his brothers.

Damn the gods! Damn the hosts of Heaven! They had thought that they had disposed of him but in all reality he now could reign his terror and revenge upon those below the stars. Did the hosts of Heaven truly protect those below? Well now, such a theory was about to be tested. As one who was fallen from grace and glory, Duzi was overtaken with rage and hatred and a need to satisfy the inner torment which raged within him. The need for slaughtering another, sinking his fangs into such delicate flesh and letting the bitter sweet liquid ooze into his mouth with its warm, luscious sensation as it dribbled from out of his own maw. He would kill- no, he would main and rend anyone who came in search to take his life from above or any other damn individual who had the balls to seek to deviate him from what he sought.

Duzi wanted to find his brothers; the only things that he had left in this god forsaken land.

Being one whose heart and mentality was consumed by the darkness so did the beast let the shadows consume his presence. The night was a time where dangers thrived, lurked and made their presence known. It was a time where parents chided and warned their offspring nver to venture off into no matter how curiosity seemed to tempt them as it seemed around every corner there was something or someone waiting to annoint the new night with the first drop of innocent blood shed in hunger and in hatred. Such creatures, such beings, would never turn away a single soul- oh no. No one would be spared and the wrath of such a horrible creature extended to all walks of life without an ounce of discrimination.

And it seemed as if tonight the first victim had already been sentenced to a grizzly fate.

From the silence of the night horrific, blood curdling screams echoed through the plains. Such a scream was like music to the demons ear, perking his ears to stand erect as a twisted grin broadened across his maw. His heart raced- pattering against his chest as his hooves tore at the ground anxiously. The great beast flared his nostrils, intaking a deep breath as already the scent of blood lightly wafted within the air which caused his mind to become more attentive and alert at the prospect of turning a rather dull night into one whose potentials for amusement was now heightened to something that could become rather interesting.

Again his listened, body stiffening as his head turned in the direction as the final chorus of screams shattered the nights silence and died out with fading echoes. Duzi chuckled darkly, gritting his teeth together as he began moving swiftly to where he believed the murder took place yet it seemed rather easy to navigate as the scent of blood nearly saturated the air in a thickly manner. The location itself was close- a destination that didn't require flight which the stallion made haste in drawing closer towards the scene yet being swift and careful footed as he stepped.

It took only several moments for the scene to come into view; a Kalona mare gorging herself upon what seemed to be a small colt who haphazardly must have stumbled a bit too far from safety. And what a hell of a way to end life! Being at the mercy of a Kalona was nearly placing oneself ina damn rut with no way out especially if you barely seemed to be able to navigate the world around you or barely stepped from out of your wicker basket. A damn fool- and a shame, a foolish mistake to have made. To think that he could of had the pleasure in at least watching the pitiful creature's life come to an end. But it seemed that someone else had at least exterminated a useless life from off the the plains and certainly the hosts of Heaven above were mourning yet wasn't it ironic that none of them ever had an ounce of damn compassion to come and save the pathetic colt from a grizzly fate?

Certainly Heaven would have known the outcome, wouldn't they? And yet they still remain secluded within their own 'perfect' realm and looking down upon each individiual with their noses pointed upwards in arrogance and their attention spent idolizing themselves not wanting to blemish or tarnish their perfectly white coats.

What a pitty.

Staring upon the scene, Duzi rumbled deeply from his chest as he ground his jaws together.

"What a goddamn shame..."
