Fai and I wanted to roleplay the day our characters met for the hell of it, so.... here we are. Call it boredom or whatever. Please, no one besides Fai or I should post in here.
This takes place over one year ago, on the first day of Alcy's second year at Ouran High School.
Alcy kicked the classroom door open as gently as it was possible for her, trudging silently into the classroom and to her desk, practically collapsing into the chair as she lay her head down on her desk. Several students laughed. "Ne, still in vacation mode, Alcy-san?" Alcy squinted up at them for a couple of seconds before laughing herself, grinning as she pulled her head up by the hair. "Yeah, guess I am. Silly me, forgot to switch to school mode." She reached up and flicked an imaginary switch on the side of her head, stayed perfectly still for a brief moment, before her head lolled back and she started snoring loudly. The students around her burst into laughter before they went back to their conversations, leaving Alcy to shake her head vigorously in a failed attempt to rid herself of the sleepies. "Bleeeeh, why did I forget my Mountain Dew today of all days..."

"Settle down, everyone. I'd like to introduce a new student," the teacher called out, calling for attention. He then motioned and in walked a rather tall, slender girl, her pale blonde hair resting a little past her shoulders. But what stood out the most was a single black eye patch that covered her right eye. "This is Fai D. Flowright. I'd like you all to make her feel welcome. If you'd please say something about yourself."
"Well... my name is... Fai D. Flowright," the blond began, seeming like her Japanese was stunted, broken. "My birth date is February 29th, I'm a Pieces, B negative blood type," she continued, looking down shyly, even as her Japanese seemed all over the place. "I hope... we can... all be... friends..." With that said, Fai glanced toward the teacher. The teacher swiftly looked away and motioned toward the empty seat near Alcy.
"You'll sit by Alcy. If you would."
Fai nodded and moved to sit by the girl in question, the mountain dew in the small cooler bag she carried noticeable since it wasn't closed all the way.

Alcy stared lazily into space as the teacher spoke, only really half-paying attention: her left hand propped her head up as she stared at the new girl being introduced, while her right hand was scratching a pencil against one of the margins of her brand-new notebook, one that would soon be filled with more doodles than actual notes. It always happened. She suddenly jerked to full attention when she heard her name mentioned by the teacher, staring slightly wide-eyed for a moment before she realized she hadn't been called on for a question, although she really shouldn't have expected that on the first day. A couple of nearby students snickered, and she gave them a wry smirk before turning to look at the new girl.
Heeh.... she's blonde, like Tamaki... blue eyes, too... no, wait. She did a double take. Make that "eye". Wow. That's different. Alcy grinned at the new girl, giving her a short wave as she sat down next to her, before half-returning her attention to the teacher.

As the teacher moved to get to work, Fai fixed her books to hide herself and pulled out a bottle with a straw in it, lazily drinking her Mountain Dew as the single eye looked around the classroom, returning to wave to the girl.

A familiar and sorely needed flash of green caught the corner of her eyes. Alcy's head turned slowly, eyes widening as her hunch was confirmed: Mountain Dew was within 10 feet of her. Alcy stared at it as if transfixed, her mouth hanging open slightly.

Fai glanced toward Alcy as she felt the eyes on herself and moved to offer one from the fully packed cooler bag, showing her to do the same with her books so as not to get caught.

Alcy nodded, propping up one of her textbooks and moving her notebook aside on the desk before slipping her hand into the cooler, pulling one out and quickly hiding it behind the book. She half-smiled at Fai. "Thanks," she whispered as she twisted open the bottle, sticking one of the straws that had also been inside the cooler into the bottle and sucking on it as she returned her half-attention to the teacher, continuing her doodling on her notebook.

Fai had only smiled at her word of thanks. For some reason, the teacher never said anything or told them to lower their books. So once class was over, Fai collected her empty bottle and moved to stand, planning on making her way over to the trash can before the next class, looking over what was on the schedule she was given.

Alcy sighed with relief as the teacher left the room, slamming her book shut and snatching up her still half-full bottle and chugging the rest of it down, eventually turning the bottle upside down as she drained the last drops of it. "Fwaaaah!" she gasped as she broke with the bottle, grinning happily. "You don't even know how much I needed that. Thanks again... er, Fai-san, was it?" She shrugged, standing up as well and realizing for the first time exactly how much taller than her this girl was. No fair! Yet one thing called to her more at the moment than her height. "So, what's with the eyepatch? You a pirate?" She grinned up at Fai, tossing the bottle into the air and catching it several times.

Fai couldn't help but giggle softly. "Nope, I don't have an eye. Nothing but a scar to remind me what once was," Fai answered, easily replying in flawless Japanese now. "Would you like another one?" she asked, holding out the cooler.

Alcy smiled even wider. "I'd be telling the most obvious lie ever if I said I didn't." She reached into the cooler and pulled out a second bottle, twisting off the cap and taking a swig. "A scar, huh?" She leaned around Fai momentarily to send her empty bottle soaring towards the bin meant for recyclables- it clattered as it fell in. She turned back to Fai, cocking an eyebrow. "Hmm... A pirate scar, I'll bet. Shaped like a skull and crossbones... Hmm. That'd be interesting." She snickered, for some reason persisting with the notion that Fai was a pirate, whether she meant it seriously or not.

Fai stared at her for a moment before laughing, shaking her head. "Not at all. I had metal fly into it... and left a nice scar across it. Nothing so dramatic as a skull and cross bones."

Alcy grimaced. "Augh... ouch, man. That... that sounds painful. Super painful. Like, pain on a stick painful." She took another swig from her bottle, trying to stop herself from mentally imagining something sharp going into her eye. She shuddered before looking back up at Fai. "Metal flying into your eye, though... it could've been a sword. I'm not buying it. You're definitely sort of awesome pirate in disguise." She smirked, taking another sip of soda.

Fai continued to snicker at those words. She couldn't help it, it was enjoyable. "Aren't most pirates male?" Fai asked, watching the other girl. She certainly was rather odd.

Alcy shrugged. "Pfft, what does gender matter? Women can be just as kick-a** as men can be. I mean, just look at One Piece: Nami and Nico Robin, two super-awesome pirates who are also female." She took another swig of soda, sighing contentedly. " Just ignore the fact that they're entirely fictional characters."
