i need my social security card so i can get paid for being an RA next year (dunno if i've mentioned that). well it's a real pain because it's somewhere at home (unsure where exactly). now, i have to go to the office and get a replacement and hope that my driver's license will be good enough identification. and it's going to take about 2 weeks! gah! i wanted it by sunday but we just kept forgetting about it.

Do you need the card, or just the number?
anyway, mines in my wallet which is something I guess you're not supposed to do b/c if you loose your wallet or it's stolen then someone has all your info and blah blah blah...but the thing is I'd probably loose it myself if I didn't sweatdrop

i need the card which is totally lame. they need to make a copy of it and need to actually touch it. no idea why. but i went to the place to request it. quite a yucky experience, a lot like going to the dmv i suppose except with more old people and people like this one woman who had at least 5 kids and was just trashy...and i had to sit there for 20 minutes before i got called up. oh well, at least it's over with now. 2 weeks til i get it (hopefully it will be sooner)
