In the past few months recordings of a prototype MS developed by the Federation is being deployed to a space station for further designs. It has been under close survelience of Zeon forces but the only thing honestly on record is that of a video where an entire base was annhilated from its attack. It was only a clip of its power for the rest of it was destroyed with the base... Judging from it though, we believe it has a newly developed beam cannon of mass destruction. We cannot allow the further production of this unit and so here is our opportunity. We are launching an assualt agianst the shuttle launch station, sadly our numbers will be miniscule compare to that of the Federation. Their numbers are unidentified because they have been obtaining more troops through day and night. There are 3 points of entry on the base; sea, land, and air. Sea approach is out of the question because of the Battle Cruisers protecting it. They would detect a submarine within miles of the area. Land or air are both of the worse of cicumstances but we cannot allow it to stop us. Attacking by land you would encounter 2 heavy artillery cannons both position on the ridges protecting the path to the base. Then to accompany the cannons are at least 2 Mobile suites, possibly more discluding the infantry and tanks. Dont think they wont know your coming either, reports show Type 74 Hover trucks are hidden well throghout the forestry area. Now for the air approach, it is somewhat out of the question considering that dropping we dont have a gaurantee of hitting the LZ. Why? The storms over the sea have been somewhat of a power source over the winds lately in the area, dropping could possibly blow you off the LZ and leave for dead. This is not mentioning the AA guns throughout the area and flak cannons. Now for the plan, we are launching 2 attacks one by land, one by air. The land attack will consist of 2 Mobile suites and that is it, 1 must be equiped with a sniper rifle, the other will be a recon MS armed with smoke discharges, EMP discarger, and a shotgun incase of close range fighting. Their role will be to distract that of the Federation forces with long range tactics and cause disarray. (If these 2 positions are not filled they will be NPCs.) The second attack will consist of 6 members, 2 planes will drop 3 MSs each right on top of the base after a pay load of EMP emitters giving the time needed to drop the MSs safely. Although they wont be anywhere near the Launch site it is the best we can get. Once they drop they must make their way through countless of numbers of troops ranging from a number of MSs. After clearing out a number of troops you will approach what is known as the sea wall gate, it will have a number of gun emplacements as well a few MSs protecting this entry. Here you will continue down tunnel network that goes into the ground that connects to the rest of the base which is mainly underground. It a straight stretch from here down that will take you to an opening back outside but dont expect that to be a cake walk of an area. Inside the tunnel is said to be a huge road block that is well supplied from the inside hanger as well the tunnel can fit at most 4 MSs side by side, we advice moving 2 by 2. Once clearing this you will find your self at the lowest level of the ground and the launch site. Be careful, by this time we believe the Battle Cruisers to be in firing range of your position, if they will or not is only the matter. Firing could cause damage to the prototype so we hope they act with sense and not do so. Here you will find more heavy resistance of units and possibly a gundam. That is the majority of the mission, now for questions. Why cant we use jets to propel over to the Launch site? Because in the entry your entire flight jet fuel will be burnt up and the discharge from the planes EMP will only be in affect to stop the AA guns until your landing on the upper portion of the base. Also the launch shuttle is far to protected by AA guns for air drop off.
Misssion Objective: Destroy the enemy launch shuttle before its launch, at any cost!
Difficulty: Extreme
Requirements: Registered pilot and MUST own your own MS. If you wish not to use your MS you are welcomed to my selection of MSs. A few are well armed BUT the ZakuII is reserved for the sniper position and no others. (Gouf used)
Enemies and Stats: GM Ground Type Armaments: 2x beam saber 1x shield 1x 100mm machinegun (40 rounds, two spare magazines) 1x bazooka (7 rounds) 1x 6-tube rocket launcher 1x beam rifle
Guntank Armaments: 2x 120mm cannon 2x 4-tube rocket launcher
Time: 50 posts and then the shuttle will launch.
