STORY: Mio and Mayu are both identical twins. Years ago when they were younger they used to walk through a forest. Mio walked ahead and mayu was hurrying to catch up with her older sister.While running she happened to slip and fall over the cliff. From that day on she had a damaged ankle/limb.
Now in the start of the game they return to the forest to visit it one more time (for theres been news that it won't exsit anymore b/c of a dam I think and it will be covered with water).

While sitting there they talk about the past (and mio is about to apoligize...she still feels regret for that day). But Mayu is already off following a crimson butterfly...Mio follows after her sister and passes through to find the hidden village.

The lost village is a legend that has been cursed since a failed ritual. Where twins are used to keep hells gate that located under the village closed. One twin woudl sacrifise the other through strangling. However the last ritual involved two girls named Sae and Yae. (Both look like mayu and mio). Sae and Yae were suppose to escape but only one got away. The villagers still tried the ritual and hanged Sae instead..but that opened the gate and left a insane and murderious Sae on the loose. Once yae left the village she could never return. Same as if you find the village you could never leave.

The story is about Mio trying to save her sister before they go through the same fate as Yae and Sae. Mayu who's more spiritual gets possessed by Sae (who she resembles) many times and wants to complete the ritual along with all the other turned-insane villager spirits. (Once the gate opened everyone got killed and roamed the village as evil spirits).
Mio tries to find a way out and save her sister and herself while unraveling the villages secrets. She is mistaken for Yae (the older sister who happened to escape)

Gamplay: AMAZING!!! It's so much fun. It's a japanese horror game full of suspense that keeps you moving. You play as Mio and try to save your twin Miyu from the faith that Sae/Yae had.

Music: It was good. It matched and I didn't really pay attention much to it but it kept the game dark and spooky. Chou, the ending song is amazing and sang by amano tsukiko! Its a sad song in a way and matches the ending so well. T__T

Graphic: Really really good. The graphics were a little lined some places (not smooth) but thats paying attention to details realyl well. lol It was great and the characters looked good. The girls matched and yet were diffrent at the same time. You could tell mio and mayu apart definantly.
The village was wide too and the houses were amazing on the details. Character ran VERY slow but that was fine I guess.
(But I'm sure if she was chased by evil spirits and deformed spirits she would run much faster! lol)

This game is sooo cool! It has so much suspense and the lady with the broken back is freaky!! When she crawls arond trying to get you. Theres a pic of her somewher! I'm gonna look for it then show you here.

Well since you're not going to play it. ^_^ I'll give you the sad ending in white so highlight to read! ^_^


SPOILER BELOW IN WHITE:
* Mayu finally catches up to mio. Mio is exhausted she has been possesed by Sae so Mayu leaves her sister (mio) to rest in a secret area. Looking around she is desperately searching for a way out of the village to save her and her sister since she now knwos the truth of the village. An outside is brought in to the village and tortured before the ritual. Then twins are the 2nd part of the sacrifice. The older one strangles the younger one. (This killing them and releaseing the soul into a crimson butterfly. The body of the dead twin is thrown into the abyss satisfying the opening to hell so the peopel are safe. The remaining twin has a makr on thei neck now and are know as the 'remianing or something'.
So, Mayu is wondering around and finds the way out. Heading back to get her sleeping sister Mio follows her now. They somehow get seperated (I can't remember how) but Mayu tracks her down.
Now its too late however as Sae possesed Mio to where the ritual takes place. Mayu ended up reachign and is out of her senses now (possesed as well). A movie goes off and Mayu strangles Mio. When its all done....she realizes what she has done and chases after her sister who is now a chrimson butterfly.

And heres the broken back woman thats so horrible when she chases you in the game. She falls from the ceiling near you (repeat of how she died) but shes possessed and evil and attacks you.
