This roleplay imitates times in Ancient Greek, except...in another world where we actually had clothes XD. A time where every man, homosexual or not, would be with another man, sexual identification didn't exist; it was just a way to express love, plus the romans said that if they did this, it would give them something to fight for in battle, making them work harder. In this time, men were paired up with younger boys. Only, they were forbidden from doing anything sexual to the boy, punishable by, at the very least in this rp if not back then, by death. This would be easy for those not truly interested in the same gender, but what would happen to those truly falling for their partner? Would they break the law, or would they, figuratively speaking, keep it in their pants for years?

There can be pairings of two adult males. Sorry, but women won't have really any place in this roleplay. Even the men that had wives, back then, would still go around with other guys and...do it.

6. Ya don't have to make your char gay, but they still have to be with at least one male, even if you have a wife.
7. Don't be a woman, they have no place in this rp, however, women still exist in this world, so, yea.
8. I, Ithidan, have the right to edit the rules in any way I see fit at any time. If I say no to something, and then add it to the rules, don't be like "Oooohh, you changed the rules, that's so not fair!" well deal with it, it wouldnt change my decision any less if it wasnt in the rules, so i might as well save myself the trouble of dealing with others trying to do the same thing i said no to

2. A man assigned a younger boy as a partner is forbidden from doing anything to the boy, punishable by death
3. All men must fight for our land and join in the wars.

Personality: Dispite the innocent smile, Reiya is a vengeful spoiled brat. He does not trust many people without them proving themselves first, and he has a horrible reputation for trying to hurt and maim those those try to hurt him.

Name: Cepheus
Age: 14
Appearance: My person
Personality: Kind, acts rude without realizing at times. He can be a bit shy around some people but once he gets over that, he can act more openly. He doesn't much care for the consequences for saying certain things and speaks out when he feels it's nessecary.

Cepheus stepped out of his house, starting to walk down the street as he looked for a place to find food. His parents had long since disapeared from his life, leaving him with the house and no money. Soon enough the house would be taken away from him, and hell knows where he would be sent, so he was trying to make do with what was currently happening.

Cepheus found a small market selling fruit. He casually walked past it before slipping close to it from behind. He subtly slipped his hand forward and pulled an apple away, only to be noticed by the salesman. He darted away, the man close behind. The man, suprisingly, had a lot of energy for he was coming closer to Cepheus. Cepheus looked back at the man, crashing into several people, and a stand, as he tried getting away.

He usually would have some strike of luck on getting food, always finding ways to distract the salesperson, but today he just couldn't get lucky. It would be easier if he had accomplices to help him, but he didn't care. He didn't really want to have to get food for other people as well. He just wanted to survive, even if how he survived made him a felon.

Cepheus rushed through the town, nearly crashing into almost everything and everyone he came by. He jumped over the cart being pulled by the donkey and ran off, heading into another alley and coming to a dead end. He jumped on a few boxes and tried grabbing onto a part of a house that was sticking out. He managed to grab on to a ledge, but was unable to lift himself up, leaving him hanging there.

Cepheus easily got captured. The man snatched the apple and kept a tight grip on the boy's shirt. Guards came into the alley and Cepheus was pushed over to them.

"This boy stole from me." The man stated before the guards proceeded to drag Cepheus away.

Cepheus was held tight, unable to escape despite his efforts. He continued trying anyway. He even bit the guards arm that was holding on to him, but the guard didn't seem to care.

The guards chuckled mockingly at Reiya. "And what are you gonna do if we don't?" The guards without Cepheus drew their swords as if to challenge Reiya.

Cepheus stopped squirming at looked at Reiya with a somewhat confused expression. Who was this guy? And why was he bothering to help the street rat? Cepheus stared at Reiya before looking to see the guards draw their sword. Is it really worth it to save some stranger at a high risk of death or imprisonment? Cepheus felt somewhat guilty, to know that someone might die all because of him.

The guards laughed, "Fine, take the poor boy. But if we catch him trying to steal again, we'll have the heads of both of you two." The two guards walked away. Cepheus watched them walk away before looking up at Reiya. "Thank you," He said softly before pulling away. Cepheus, not sure what to say while feeling somewhat nervous, started to walk away to go to his house, completely forgetting about the fact that he didn't eat. He stopped when he heard his stomach growl and placed his hands on his stomach while looking down at it, frowning.
