To let you all know, this is my first time DMing ever. I will try to make this campaign as fun as I possibly can. Please read the rules thoroughly I do things differently.

The Rules
Races - you must choose from the base 7 races in the PHB.

Rolling stats - roll 4d8, best 3. roll seven times and drop the lowest stat. Reroll anything under 12.

Dying- your first death you may create a character at your previous level. after that you start a level below.

Multiclassing and experience penalty - I removed experience penalties when multiclassing so players don't have to worry about losing experience.

natural 20's and 1's- Nat 20s automatically gives you a +10 and a Nat 1 gives -10, instead of automatic success or failure. I am used to this way because of my old dm. I like it better because it gives a better chance of not failing.

I will develope the campaign a certain way depending on what alignment people want to play.

you may use the phb, book of nine swords, any of the complete books such as complete adventurer, the ebberon books, psionics handbook and oriental adventures. if there is anything you want to use run it by me first.

I would be interested in playing a 7th level PC. If it is an evil party a rogue/bard and if it is good then wizard (with maybe a multiclass).

as i basically gain levels in the secondary class i become a spider

((in other words, Nerull's Advocate's charecter would be a rogue that follows this rogue-like prestige class. He gives up his fast sneak attack growth (1 per 3 levels now i think) and possible a few skill points and abilities to gain such abilities as racial bonuses to climb, growing extra limbs, etc.))

Also, while i'm here, I might as well inquire as to whether or not I should join. I've had an idea floating about in my head for quite some time, but never been able to use it; this game is slightly under-leveled for it, but by using racial class levels from the Savage Species 3.0 edition sourcebook it could work.

I am looking to play a griffon (an odd request, I know). In savage species, they allow you to take racial levels that slowly add the benefits of a race to your charecter on a level-by-level basis. At level 7, a griffon has 6 hit dice, a +4 natural armor, a 1d8 bite attack, regular claw and rake attacks, pounce, scent up to twenty feet, a medium size, and some stat adjustments (some bonus or another to str, con, and dex i'm sure, with a -6 to int and a -2 to cha). As he gained levels, the griffon charecter would instead grow older, giving him more of the standard racial abilities (better bite, stats, scent, etc.). The main purpose of such a charecter would be to serve as a mount for another charecter, but until level 10, when he would gain large size, he will only be able to carry small riders.

Would you be willing to work with this.

I looked it up
It is an interesting Prestige class
but you may take it only if the poll comes up with a majority for evil and you will have to find the fang scarab in game and make the appropriate use magic device check. so that means it will have to be at 8th level or higher when you can actually take the prestige class.

I will assign them later, when I finish my chareter sheet. My charecter has a +6 racial bonus to str, a +4 racial bonus to con, a +2 racial bonus to dex, a -6 racial bonus to int, and a -2 racial bonus to cha as of right now; if memory serves, he gains another +2 str and +2 dex at level nine.

If you would like, I can send you more specific information about the Griffon Monster Levels class in a PM.
