For some reason, there has never been a library thread added. So, let's do this!!
Welcome to the Bridges Academy Library! Here, you can look through literally millions of books to find whatever you need on a variety of subjects. The Library of Congress has got nothing on this!!

Aubry walked in the rather large library and started to look through books. it was almost as large as her old one, before she had to sell half of her books...

"Have you ever noticed," Kai said, flipping through the pages of a rather large book, "how some books retain their new-book smell?" He was kind of joking, but books did have a particular scent when they were new.

"i personally like it when books are old, and they smell it. it just smells like the history that they've gone through..." Aubry said, picking up a bigger book.

"Sometimes that history doesn't smeel too good," Kai said, thinking about some of the history books he had read about the darkies and the lighties.

"i didn't say that the history smelled good, i said the books that are that old smell good. though it does get dust everywhere and makes me cough..." Aubry said with a half-smile.

Kai chuckled a bit and smiled a crooked smile. He placed the book back on it's shelf and pulled down another one.

Aubry took her book away and sat at one of the tables. she took out a deck of cards out of her sleeve.
"do you play?" she asked.

"It depends on the game,' Kai replied, placing his book back and taking a seat across from her. He gently drapped his wings over the back of the chair, so they wouldn't get hurt from being leaned on.

"that's ok, i'll teach you..." Aubry said. "ok, so you get 10 cards. the goal is to get two sets of three, and a set or run of four... it's very simple..." she dealt out ten cards to Kai, and to herself. she flipped on over, and put it down. it was a seven of diamonds.
