Then, why don't you put your ideas and suggestions on how to improve this guild here!

When I join a guild, there's usually a thread for the newbies to the guild to introduce themselves.
It would be a fun way for the guildies to introduce themselves properly, maybe telling a bit about themselves. And the newbies wouldn't feel so intimidated in not knowing where to go first.
Just a suggestion that I hope gets noticed. :3

These are things you can do yourself! For more polls make more posts (or visit the spam subforum) and you are welcome to host any contests you wish to. You may notice that we do have an official RPG avi contest if you're interested in entering it. ^^

Delete members that never post.
Two years is a long time, and if your going to have inactive members, then kick them. They are only taking up room.
If there are some people in here that only take the polls, I wouldn't believe it, because eventually everyone posts at least once if they are active.
People like talking to active people, so recruit more of those. wink

Thanks for your suggestion! We, as a rule, don't kick out inactive members for a few reasons. First of all, there's always the small chance that they'll come back and post some more. But more importantly, that's a LOT of work (we're so very lazy) and it doesn't really increase member activity. Kicking out people who aren't active doesn't really make anyone be more active. And there's always the fact that we could make a mistake and accidentally kick out a new member or someone who is active. The member list doesn't actually tell us how long the person has been a member of the guild, so we really have no way of knowing.
I hope that explains things well enough. ^^

I've been on Gaia for 4 years, so I do understand it. xD
Guilds were always the thing I found Gaia just pushed into a corner. xp
I understand it, but a suggestion is a suggestion, if acted on it, I don't take part on it. : D
I forgot if there is a limit on members, but ah well, you're choice. :3

I apologize if I did. I just wanted to explain the reasons we've never done that. I certainly agree with you in that guilds have always been a bit neglected on Gaia. In my own personal opinion, they are desperately in need of an update. But we love them anyway. <3 As far as I know there is no limit on the number of members a guild can have. And if there is we're no where near it! The top guild has 66530 members right now. We've got less than 2000.
