How often do you start a HM game over to start fresh?(or by accident?)
I've done it once or twice for no particular reason other than to marry someone else or get a event I missed, but I'm wondering about everyone else. What do you hope to achieve by doing this?If anything?

OBJECTION!
I ONLY start over if I feel that there is not much left for me to do in the game. OR, if for some magical reason, my files get corrupted.

I only restart if I save over my game or, I hope this never happens, gets corrupted. My games have never frozen or gotten corrupted. I saved over my super-duper MFoMT farm once a few years ago, but never again.

Just file corruption? I think that happened to me in my MFoMT.
I thought there'd have been other reasons as well....Like when your game is completely finished, and you start a new game that way. Not necessarily just saving over a old game on a whim. gonk

Ever wish you had another cartridge or two for a game? xd In MFoMT, I need both files for mining. I married Rick, and he's so sweet. I need another cartridge to marry Kai.
Wooing people is not easy. That's why I don't like to start over. I've told my MFoMT story so many times. XD

I do it on a whim XD When I get bored (usually in my third year of MFoMT) I start again because I like the challenge of rebuilding the farm, finding someone to marry, and having the kid. Once I've done all that it just gets too repetitive for me. sweatdrop

Most of the time I only technically "start over" when I get a new HM game. xD Like when I went from HM 64 to FoMT and then from FoMT to MFoMT. xD So far I'm stuck on MFoMT. I couldn't really get into A Wonderful Life.

I'll just use the word segments. xd I'll stop playing after a while...then start again xp

I've had to start over only once. I had a high orange color (59000 or so) with Muffy and my sister asked me to get her some cursed tools so that she could marry Leia. while on a floor, i got a cursed tool and accidentally saved over my game. (We share the same HMDS game) I had to start over, and am now courting Flora. My sister accidentally saved my game over hers a few days ago, and lost her marriage to Leia and her son. So now we both play the same game so saving over isn't a problem and she's trying for Celia. File corruption sucks. *sigh*

Fantasy: XD I would refuse to play for a month if I could keep myself from pathetically attempting to get to the point I was again... XDD
