EDIT (by Jewel): Thread Closed/Locked, but feel free to read through and remember old times! wink
Well... seeing as everyone's been busy with the holiday season and not been posting here much, I thought I'd do something to get at least a few more posts in this here guild (yeah, right). So... I came up with this. Sort of a Rimmer-ly oracle. Ask him anything, from why you exist to asking for advice on your dilemmas. Don't expect him to be nice, though.
I chose Rimmer because I play him in the RP. If you think you could do a better job of this, then by all means make your own "Ask Rimmer" thread. It's only for fun, anyway. Oh, and don't expect me to know every single little fact about Rimmer from the series. If I make a wrong guess, I'll at least try to back it up with logic.

OK. I've got one for ya Rimmer.
Given that the universe is infinite
And God is also infinite
Would you like a toasted muffin?
8^)
Heh. Sorry. Couldn't think of a real question.

Rimmer says: "Given that the universe is infinite, and God is infinite, I would not, actually, like a toasted muffin. I prefer fruit for breakfast. Better potassium and vitamin C means that much of an easier climb up, up, up the ziggurat of my career."
Let's just take his word for it, shall we? whee

starlit_jewel I have a question for Rimmer... what, if anything, is the highlight of being dead? whee Rimmer says: "Hmmm... let me ponder that for a second. Well, I've come up with a list. Here it is: 1.) You can't die again. 2.) There are worse things than excruciating deaths and coming back as a hologram. Smelling Lister's feet, for one. 3.) You can't die again. 4.) Although I apparently do still have a sense of smell (don't ask me how; I'don't really know) it doesn't seem to be on all that often. Perhaps it's only Lister's Day-Glo moonboots that affect me. 5.) You can't die again. 6.) You can't die again. 7.) Physical pain does not exist to one who is dead. Well, not one who's a hologram anyway. Emotional pain is another matter, but let's not go there. 8.) You can't die again. There. Does that answer your question?"

zolka989 ewwwwww! creepy, creepy. santa's on the naughty list. hehehe. also erfaewen thinks i'm a n00b. lol. anyways does rimmer like chocolate? Let's see how he answers that... "Chocolate is for emotional weaklings who believe that candy is the glue to fix every broken relationship. I honestly don't see what women like about it. Perhaps it's just one of those mysteries of life. Although I do like the occasional milkshake... don't tell anyone I said that, though. ninja "

So Rimmer, if being dead is so horrible, why don't you just find a time vortex, like you did in (I think) series four, travel through it to a backward reality where time flows in reverse, and then stay there till you're alive again?
