does the Capcom localization team have a thing with prosecutors coming from/training in Germany. Gahaha. [I dunno, are these things considered spoilers? It doesn't reveal case outcomes or anything. Just background info on prosecutors.]
I totally just realized it when I was replaying AA:AP last weekend. Edgeworth studied under Manfred Von Karma in Germany, and Franziska was a freaking child prodigy prosecutor in Germany. And Klavier Gavin was touring in Germany. HE EVEN SAYS FRAULEIN AND HERR. What is that?
I love this game though.
Godot is a different story, though. Haha. Err, discuss other Capcom localization habits?

In Japan they all came/studied from America.
It's just a thing.

Well, I know that, but don't you think they could have spread things out a bit more?
I just realized the coincidence. ._.ll

If they all came from the same country in the original, I don't know why they'd change that in the localization. *shrug*

Of course, when Capcom realized how full of fail he was, they went bac-*shot*

I actually liked Godot, I was able to understand all the components of his backstory and such. except when he started crying blood? I didn't really get that part. Haha. Winston Payne's "OBJECTION!" annoys the crap out of me.

He can't even just let his emotions out and CRY without harming himself.))Winston Payne is American. Just made of exceptional amounts of failure.

Manfred was germen,so it makes sense that his daughter is also from Germany...and Edgeworth had to live there in order for the plot involveing him and Manfred to make sense.

In that case, why does Edgeworth have a British accent? Dunno if anyone noticed, but Manfred also wears a cravat...
