You did mention at one point that you lived in Vancouver, right? Or did you mean for us to guess what exact venue they were playing at? If it's the latter, I have no idea.
Sometimes it genuinely bothers me that I'll never be able to see Queen as a whole in concert...but, hey, that's life. I'll just have to content myself with YouTube and listening to Live Killers with my eyes shut. (Seriously, have you ever tried that? It's like your mind creates a picture of what the show might've been like. Really freaky, and cool.)
As for rare pics...well, how do you define 'rare'? I mean, these days there's not very many photos that are genuinely difficult to come by, what with the Internet and all.

And contemplate what Freddie would say to us if he read this. (Or any of the members reading anything in this crazy guild of ours!)

Haha--yes, as a matter of fact I've posed that question a couple of times as well. In fact, I asked it in the Questions Thread. Fairy Feller Fancy answered, "Probably some perverted laughter." Maybe she has a point... mrgreen In fact, the band discovering their modern internet fanbase is the premise for one of my stories.
Freddie...well, I don't think he'd really be bothered by this particular thread, as in the grand scheme of things there are Queen fangirls a lot more whacked-out than us. I mean, people say things like, "I would make love to Freddie Mercury for an extended amount of time, were he still living!" and "Sometimes I pray that when I wake up, it'll be next to Freddie in 1973!" xd (Those are genuine quotes I found on the internet, by the way. The first was on Urbandictionary.com, the second was a comment on a YouTube video of the band playing "In the Lap of the Gods.")
But you're right, they probably would be weirded out by many other happenings in the Guild...like Mer-Freddie, for instance. I imagine Freddie would be genuinely creeped out by THAT particular happening. Not to mention the issue of SLASH FANFICTION. *shudders*

xd I bet he'd actually like this guild. It's pretty fun (when there's members that are alive). And those quotes are funny, and my friends have said something along those lines about other bands, actors or people.
Oh, on the subject of Mer-Freddie, the weirdest thing happened the other day. I went over to one of my friends house, and he told me he had to leave for a second and to just wait. A few minutes later he comes out of his room in a mermaid costume and he looks EXACTLY like Mer-Freddie. eek
He didn't understand my overly insane amounts of laughter. rofl

Seriously? That's hilarious! rofl Your friend must be a bit...ah, interesting, to just out-of-the-blue throw on a mermaid costume like that. Especially since he's a guy...I would have cracked up too, most likely, were I in your position.
Anywho, back on the topic of pictures...
Freddie's pre-Queen band, Sour Milk Sea.

A very young Roger Taylor playing in his band, The Reaction...

Then there's John's early band, The Opposition.

And Brian's pre-Queen band that he was in with Tim Staffel before Smile: 1984.

And the very, very, very, VERY beginnings of Queen. In fact, this was before John joined the band.
And for that matter, here's a link to the photo archives at QueenZone. That's where I found all of these, and there are oodles more of them. http://www.queenzone.com/queenzone/pictures.aspx

Is it sad that I have trouble identifying Brian when he doesn't have poofy, curly hair? xD
Anyhoo. Overall, Queen would probably be flattered at some of this stuff... I just pray that if they ever discover us or bother look at the QOL forums, there are certain things that people say about them that I hope they never see! Such as things that Grilled Cheese mentioned... sweatdrop Not gonna lie, I'm sure we've all had our impure thoughts, but some of us have the good sense not to go on about it! Those thoughts are supposed to be personal anyway, aren't they? Well. I'm off to play sims2 (I am NOT making a Brian sim.. I've already got Deaky and Rog... And a Freddie one... ) Anyhoo. *innocent whistle*

@ Blue Silver: Wait...are you referring to the examples of psycho-Queen-fandom that I mentioned in this thread, or my own fangirl thoughts that I've mentioned in other posts? confused If it's former, I agree.
If it's the latter...well, to say the very least, I mean no harm. I've always thought occasionally discussing your infatuation with the band members is a pleasant way of bonding with fellow Queen fans, and, as long as you're not bringing up anything X-rated, what's wrong with it? I have no problem with others being as open about fangirlism as I am--it's one of the pleasures of hanging out in a Queen guild.
Nonetheless, I do see your point...I suppose it would be better to respect the wishes of those who consider that sort of thing private. I'll lay off on the fangirlism a bit. (After all, it wouldn't be a good idea for this to turn into an OMGZZ FREDDY BRAIN RODGR AND JON R SO HOTT!!1! Guild.)
On a different note...QUEEN SIMS! That's awesome--I believe the idea crossed my mind to make some Sims based on/named after the Queen members, but I never got around to it. I did make some Green Day Sims, though, a while back.
@ Queen_Zeppelin: Oops, I should have clarified that more. You see, 1984 was the name of the band Brian was in, not the year the picture was taken. The band was named after the dystopian/sci-fi novel by George Orwell.
