The Hyuuga (日向) Estate and Ancestral Village:
Description: Built to the east of the village (towards the rising sun). The Hyuuga ancestral estate was originally a fairly small, independent village of its own, nestled deep within the heart of the Fire Country. Originally meant just for the carriers of the Byakugan limit, once the clan leader had agreed to a contract with the Shodaime Hokage to be part of Konoha, the Hyuuga village was assimilated and had ever since remained on the eastern borders of Konoha itself. Parts of the village were revamped throughout the years and connected (by bridges of either wood or carved stone) to create a singular, large estate. A historical treasure in itself, this was where their ancestors of the famous Konoha twelve, Hyuuga Hinata and Hyuuga Neji, once resided. Throughout the centuries, the compound had not changed much - with Heian era building designs and the simplistic Japanese décor of the rooms. The wooden floors are always kept highly polished and shoes are not worn in the sleeping chambers or the clan dojo.
There is no required DC to find the Hyuuga compound. Logically, as an estate that’s part of the village, it is by far from hidden. But that does not mean people could enter and leave on whim. Entering uninvited always leaves the chance of some paranoid clansman attacking suddenly under the justification for intrusion. To avoid the former possibility, it would be wise to use the front gates or accompanied by a clansman around the estate grounds.
Compound Map:
Courtyard: The open courtyard is still used as training grounds for clansmen in their leisure - with wooden dummies, targets for shuriken and kunai training, and spacious areas for Juuken Kempo practice. But nowadays, Hyuugas rarely use the courtyard grounds considering most clansmen prefer to train in the dense woodland surrounding Konoha or in the village training grounds themselves. It is now being used for a courtyard’s actual purposes: welcoming visitors and acting somewhere in-between a park and picnic grounds. The Bridge Leading to the Water Garden: Besides the open courtyard lies a beautiful, serene lake (to which part of it flows into the estate grounds, hence the overall design of the state is not that different in sense to a floating island suspended over water, with beautiful bridges of either carved wood or stone connecting the grounds over water). A bridge crossing over to the original Hyuuga village (marketplace) offers full view of their lovely Water Garden. Built by the Senju clan as a gift, it is a recreational spot for those who enjoy flower-viewing, as they go picnic on boats in the lake. The garden is complete with sakura groves around the lake and in spring, when the flowers are in full bloom, it is a breathtaking sight to see the sakura petals flutter down and float on the water’s surface. Dojo: The clan dojo is used mainly for meditation and basic Juuken Kempo lessons, taught to the younger clansmen pre-Academy age, though they may take more advanced lessons even while attending the Academy. Here is also where basic lessons on the human body, treating injuries, and understanding the Byakugan limit are held. Older clansmen may choose to use the dojo during days classes aren’t held for Taijutsu practice. Two unsaid rules, once entering the dojo shoes must be removed and the other, that Kaiten is absolutely banned within Hyuuga grounds or face the wrath of the Hyuuga Elders.
Armory: The armory building is in between the Branch and Main Compound. Though generally not in use (seeing as most of the clan still choose to specialize in hand-to-hand combat), it holds a store of a great variety of different tools, weapons, and equipment such as fine shinobi armor. The armor stored is the light armor worn by Shinto onmyōjis, however, unlike the Senju clan’s heavy samurai-style armor.
Dining Hall: Another building that connects the Branch and Main Compound is the dining hall and (in the great expanse in the back), the kitchens. Here is where clansmen eat their daily meals.
Library: A beautifully spacious circular library in the traditional Japanese-style décor in a building of its own. The redwood walls and isles of bookshelves give the library a feeling of being very close to nature. Valuable volumes gathered by the clan throughout the centuries, ranging from a large variety of topics, as well as journals recorded by watchful clansmen documenting other clans are found here. In the heart of the library, there are eight circular redwood tables and forty-eight chairs (six chairs per table spaced equally around) arranged in a circular pattern (the isles of bookshelves branch out from the heart of the library in a circular formation). On the polished wooden floor in the center of the tables’ circular formation is a great rug (covering the floor beneath and throughout the whole library) in the traditional colours and shape of the yin-yang insignia with all twenty-four divination symbols (arranged in groups of eight) spaced from there.
Branch Compound: Much of the branch family portion of the estate was revamped into another large library for books discarded from the main library. Living quarters are also carved out for guests and non-Konoha Hyuuga clansmen. Since much of this area was left unused when much of the branch family moved out of Konoha after clan rules lessened in severity, minor clan festivals are also held within this area. Though money is no problem, keeping a good area unused is. Thus debate had been ongoing for a while over renting out the area.
Main Compound: The main family portion of the estate still has the same sense of décor, with clean traditional Japanese design and arrangement with spacious living quarters. No longer just for the main family, as the clan population had drastically declined and that the lines between the main and branch family had long began to blur, practically all remaining Konoha-residing clansmen live here.
Master’s Study: A private study for the head of family within the premises of the Main Compound. It was pretty apparent, however, that the heiress raided here and stole the hand-made world map for her travels. Even de-mapped, the office holds quite some sentimental items of value. Pictures of the head of clan’s immediate family, her Genin team, former classmates, ink paintings, as well as poems inscribed in elegant calligraphy.
Marketplace: Over time, certain clansmen excelled in other areas - be it with blacksmithing, cultivating tea leaves and herbs, fashioning jewelry, pottery, or similar goods. Here is where they could sell their goods - within Hyuuga village’s marketplace. But even clansmen find it troublesome to haggle with stingy shop owners!
~ Pharmacy [Lily Garden] | Owner: Hyuuga Yokou Was owned and managed by the Hyuuga leader. She did love her precious herbs and medicinal plants, which were always good for healing various types of injuries. Fresh flowers as well as potted flowers, flowering plants, and plants in general of all sorts all also sold here.
~ Weaponry [Brilliant Sun] | Owner: Senju Zephyr Until today, it remains an utter mystery how the hell the Senju leader managed to get a store within the Hyuuga grounds. However, the Hyuuga clan elder Nyame now made this her place to take custom weapon requests. Not as large as the village weapon store but as usual, there is more than enough sufficient working areas (furnaces, anvils, and etc.). Here is also where Nyame takes her apprentice blacksmiths to train, away from the prying eyes of villagers.
Clan Division: Division between the main and branch families have nearly entirely faded. The head family, or immediate relatives to the clan leader, is now generally revered but they certainly aren’t as conceited or cruel as the clan leaders of six centuries back. The Cursed Seal tradition had for the most been dropped and even those who were supposed to be marked might be spared, if fortunate enough to be protected by a kindly main family member. However, all those marked traitors and outcasted from the clan receive the seal.
Population: Clan population had decreased drastically throughout the course of years. In many ways, the Byakugan limit could be considered in danger of extinction. The failed attempt to stop the Fire Master from taking Konoha had cost many older Hyuugas their lives. In addition, the massacre of non-Konoha Hyuugas a few years earlier had nearly completely cut off the clan’s contact with the outside world. Right now, the clan is so scattered, with perhaps a few minor pockets in other villages.

Stature: Nobility. A very powerful, ancient family of Konoha.
Financial / Political: While some of the clan are hailed for their talents in the crafting arts (particularly weapon forging), the Hyuuga nobility are most well-known for being the most deadly offensive family within the Sentry Order and as well as a traditional part of the reigning Hokage’s personal guard. Of course they do many other things too, such as selling traditional paintings and crafts, as well as copying books and translating ancient documents. Highly talented, they make up an important part of Konoha’s culture and shinobi forces.
Dress Code / Speech Patterns / Clan Etiquette: Clan formal dress is that of imperial Heian-era Japan. They are usually seen wearing formal clothing or somewhat less impressive yukata and kimonos, or some form of loose-flowing robes due to the open-palmed nature of their Taijutsu arts. Sometimes, they would take to shinobi wear when necessary (such as for matters such as mission-taking). Otherwise, they would not degrade themselves to wearing the common garb of the plebeian. They speak highly formally, most famously the “clan speech” used for vows and pledges - for them language is poetry and an art - and refer to others near always politely by honorifics, though of noticeably distinguishable ranks. Very proud, honor and respect plays a large role in this family’s behavior.
Children/Adult Dress: Languages: Chinese (Mandarin) is their native tongue, though they have mastered Japanese in order to communicate with the other villagers. Aside from that, they also study many other languages such as for the western nations: classical Latin, French, Spanish, German, and English and also for the eastern nations: Korean, Arabic, and Hindi. They’re easily one of the most scholarly families around, perhaps matched only by the Senju royal family of Konoha and the famed Hyouton Creation noble family in Kiri.
Clan Status: Accepting well-written applications. Face deletion if not active.

Irihi was contentedly sleeping at home. Ok, maybe it was the afternoon. Maybe it wasn't normal to be sleeping at this time... Maybe any other Hyuuga teen his age would be outside vigorously training... Not Irihi. Lailah, his artic wolf pup, was sleeping soundly on his tummy. Mumbling in his dreams, the boy turned sideways. With an indignant yelp, Lailah fell onto the ground. The wolf pup barked once, trying to catch her master's attention...to no avail. Indignant, Lailah opened her mouth...
...and chewed on Irihi's hand.
"Ngh...yyYYYEOOOWWWCH!" Pale, pearly eyes flew open and Irihi bolted up in bed. "What was that for?" He mumbled, rubbing his hand. Lailah bit hard but not enough to draw blood. Additionally, the wolf pup was cold-shouldering him at the present moment...showing her master her backside. "Geez..." Irihi grumbled, getting out of bed. He was in his sleeping yukata, with his long dark-brown cascading down to his waist. Some of it was still tangled in knots, a testimony to the fact that Irihi had not waken up today until now.
It's the weekend anyways... The boy mused to himself. Light was streaming in through the compound's open windows, traditional style so there was no glass to block the gentle breezes. The trees around the compound rustled in gentle, melodic murmurings. Nyame's part of the main compound was right adjacent to the head family's quarters...perhaps it was for defensive reasons that the head family's quarters were located at the very back of the compound.
The other half-ring of buildings, more towards the entrance, was the branch compound houses. A shrine temple was at the center, at the heart of the block-like jigsaw that formed the main and branch compounds. The former Hyuuga village, currently their marketplace and trading center, was located to the western side of the estate, with another branch at the opposing side. The only difference was that one sold practical stuff while the other sold weapons, armor, poisons...basically war materials.
Wooden bridges connected areas separated by goldfish filled ponds.
Irihi always had the heavy suspicion the Hyuuga estate began as a grand temple, much like what Nyame-sama has said of the Senju clan. He wouldn't be too wrong in thinking so.
Sighing lightly, the teenager preoccupied himself with brushing his currently messy hair smooth. It took fairly long before he was all cleaned up, done the "morning" duties, and finished dressing. Some time was taken to convince Lailah that he was sorry and then the boy preoccupied himself with washing, drying, and brushing her lovely white fur smooth. Finally, Irihi slung his arrows, in their fine leather quiver over his shoulder, and took his bow in his right hand, hand setted over the familiar fine wooden curves.
Irihi's heart almost stopped when he saw the grandfather clock. Late! He gasped inwardly. He was supposed to meet Nyame-sama at the Senju complex...but had overslept! Ignoring Lailah's indignant protests, Irihi scooped up the wolf pup in his free arm before bolting out of the door.
He better hurry because getting outside the compound alone would take some time...

Nyame appeared at the compound gates in a puff of smoke. She needed to access her clan library so that she could fetch Anzu's squad data... That idiot. The seventeen year old Hyuuga councilwoman thought irritably. Couldn't even keep the village library hours in his head... But being miffed at her teammate won't change her current errand. She couldn't help but wonder in curious surprise as sentry clan members rushed from all corners of the estate towards the courtyard. ...?
The Hyuuga clan's long-term friendship with the Senju clan meant advantages of the latter's fuuinjutsu proficiency. The trees and plants on the compound were created from the Senju clan's Mokouton and from a high aerial view, formed a giant fuuinjutsu seal. Foreign chakra abruptly entering the area would be concentrated to one particular spot, in this case teleportational techniques into the compound would be directed at the courtyard. But Nyame didn't suspect that.
Curiosity taking over her as she entered the courtyard, Nyame noticed that a group of unknown people were in the courtyard. Members of Hyuuga clan preferred light weapons, such as the kusarigama, bo, katana, and nunchaku... Nyame didn't missed the fact that they were all armed, Byakugan flared.
One of them looked familiar... Nyame thought distantly. Suddenly it hit her like a ton of bricks. She recognized the pale-haired girl of the foreign group. For now, she ignored the fact of the Taki forehead protectors. Nyame turned to her wary clansmen. "It's alright. They're not enemies."
Clan elder's orders... The clansmen dropped their Byakugan and lowered their weapons...only slightly should the foreigners prove to be dangerous before her raised palm had them all lower their weapons wholly.
"Nyame-chan!" Arya exclaimed in surprise, relief too that the first high-ranking Hyuuga she ran into was this particular girl. The older girl had changed over the year and half they haven't seen each other - now, Nyame dons the same robes as the Hyuuga council...albeit she chose the lovelier Heian style dress. Suddenly remembering that Nakamura might be wondering why this particular Hyuuga teenager was so important... "Onee-sama, Nyame-chan and another took care of me during...that... Her father brought me out of the village and country."
Turning back to her friend, Arya had a passing question: "But where's Jurei-dono?"
"Otou-san was killed during the Fire Master's invasion. I took his place in the Hyuuga council." Her tone was carefully detached... Nyame felt there was no to elaborate on the clan's current population even though it may be brought up... But noticing Arya's discomfort, Nyame added: "Arya-chan, I assure none of your captors are in this group." It would become pretty clear that the sentry clansmen were are remarkably young, a good number still Chuunin.
She gestured to an vertical arrangement of carved stone tables and seats in the courtyard. "You wanted to talk, correct?" Perceptive indeed, as expected of a Hyuuga elder who mastered divination.

Kaida sat on her backside on the groudn swooning slightly and looking very out of focus, beside her Wahotts was moving his legs almost as if doing a very slow dog paddle, only he was on his back. THe two were dazed and silly-eyed. Staring at somethings that it seemed only they could see with mouths agape clearly fully fascinated... "Woah./..look at the colors...they're so...preeeeeeeety..." Kaida murmured. and herd an afirmative noise of some sort from her four legged friend.
Despite the strange antics of the two first timers, Kusari was much more accustomed to this. He stood at the ready, Having finishe dwrapping his face by the time he exited the portal and his kusari gama hung from one hand while his sword handle was gripped tightly in the other. His eyes surveyed the guards all about and he was sure that he could take them on two at a time at least if he had to. When the staying order came to the gurads, Kusari murmured back under his breath in a tone so soft none could hear it save perhaps Nakamura. "Not YET we aren't." Despite Ayra' s words of calming and statements of trust, Kusari was in hostile territory now... He would only listen to two people here, and one of them was himself.

Even though she had yet to emerge from her portal, she could definatly hear voices. Ones, that belonged to her fellow comrades while others were foreign. Strange... how quickly they managed to locate my jutsu... she thought to herself, taking a small breath as the portal's exit appeared in front of her face. Her right leg stepped out of it followed by her left as if she was squeezing out of the rift itself.
When Nakamura appeared, she kept her right hand hidden within the portal itself, preventing it from sealing. Both villages that she represented were worn and shown equally upon each shoulder. As if her mere silence confirmed what Arya was saying, she still didn't let her guard down. Who knew the person in charge of the village now and what she would have to deal with. Even with Arya's precautions and wanes of wishing to protect the girl, Nakamura hadn't decided on what she wanted to have happen next. She gave a nod, waning Arya that she did indeed percieve the girl to be close to her, and wouldn't attack just yet if it could be prevented.
It was Kaida and Wahotts that had her slightly baffled, from the looks of things, their bodies hadn't experience any form of transportation jutsu, something she would need to rectify in the future. She didn't even move, but with her eyes she sent a warning to those that dared think of Kaida and Wahotts as a target that they would have to get through her first.
Revealing the trump card she had kept hidden, Nakamura pulled the Fire Master's Naginata out from the Mist Portal, allowing it to seal shut. She lifted it above her head before bringing it's end down to rest upon the ground, the blade firmly held upwards and in an iron grip. Her eyes gazed towards the stone that was gestured at; scoffing at them without giving a single sound. If she wanted to sit down and chat, she would make chairs herself. "It's true I want to talk, however, I want answers before I just assume that the village is peacefull. I hear that your village has had... a complete lapse of outside information? I know what's happened in the village, I want to know why it took over a year for someone to finally remove their cowardice into aiding her." Nakamura demanded. She wasn't asking questions, she was demanding answers. When she paused for a breath, her eyes focused onto the Naginata for only a moment before she continued. "Yes, this is what you think it is. The Fire Master is dead. Killed by those you see standing before you." The quiet, calm girl that Nakamura always displayed for everyone seemed to have melted away now that she was being driven by passion and agression. She had been friends with the previous Kage of the Leaf Village, and this is the amount of support she gets in return for aiding thier village?
No. It was not acceptable.

She looked unfazed by the revelation or Nakamura's accusing tone. Anzu had predicted long ago that the Fire Master would fail to conquer Taki.
"Konoha, peaceful? No...I would think not. It was more than a year and half ago, when otou-san smuggled Arya out of Konoha - before the Fire Master came. Her imprisonment lasted half a year...endured injuries terrible enough to scar a lifetime..." The recuperation in Ame... Pale eyes fixed calmly on Nakamura, her expression devoid of emotion. But her tone held traces of sympathy for Arya, the same as the indignant girl had a year and half ago...demanding a hidden, unsightly crime for her father to see.
"You cannot judge a village peaceful simply by measuring its economic prosperity. Even during the usurper's reign, Konoha fared. Not well." She added. "But enough to thrive." Nyame gestured towards Arya. "The kage before Lady Cerbi was one of our ranks. However, he passed away suddenly."
"But our clan had promised this village long ago to keep away from political affairs. Our price for autonomy from the Council of Elders' prying eyes. Thus however kindly he was, the villagers never truly accepted a kage of the Hyuuga. His death resulted in power struggles between the major clans of this village. It would've been civil war had it not been for her, Lady Cerbi."
"We have no natural borders. What impediments left on this country was from shades long gone (Shodaime, Hashirama Senju). Would you still believe a village peaceful, raided by rogue shinobi and bandits alike from all directions, along with unfriendly foreign shinobi encroaching on our country's territory?"
"As customary, our clan council accompanied the head of family and Lady Cerbi...along with members of other ancient Konoha families on a diplomatic emissary to our ally Suna. Their stay was extended, thus one member from each clan that attended returned to Konoha. By chance, it was my otou-san who returned. As great a mistake it was...leaving Konoha in the hands of frightened villagers...in our case, the cadet (branch) leaders. Our clan had always taken sentry duty seriously, even now..."
"When our village has no kage."
So the latter wasn't rumors either, that Lady Cerbi was killed during the Fire Master's invasion.
"It was not I who chanced upon Arya's prison house. The little princess, who loved to wander around the estate...even into the branch quarters...was the first main family member to see and know of Arya. She begged me to help her... Arya was stronger than anyone the guardsmen met before apparently... She did not speak, even under repeated interrogation. However, neither could they find any convicting evidence. Because of the princess...Arya did tell me why...much later when she regained some strength, the purpose of coming to Konoha in the first place. But I only began studying medical ninjutsu and could not heal her wounds significantly..."
"Arya's words were surprising. Rasen-sama told no one of his friendship with Taki... He...didn't even tell our clan let alone the village. Even to this day, very few knows. I believe...it was because neither the Council of Elders nor villagers would've embraced prospective formal alliance that...he would lie to us."
"When otou-san returned from the trip to Suna, the cadet leaders were too frightened to tell an elder straightforwardly of their mistake. Though indeed I am of the main branch...Lady Yokou had chosen to give the cadet house more liberty and in the clan council's absence, being significantly larger, charged with watching over the Hyuuga family. Only a rookie Jounin then, I was not in a position of authority."
"It would've taken too long before the truth is unveiled to the head of family...whenever they returned. The rest of the emissary will return home much later, right before the usurper's invasion. Otou-san, under the rest of the council's noses...I helped her escape the estate. However..." Nyame gestured to herself. "I could not freely leave the village on whim. Otou-san took her out of the country, to the closest village - to Ame where he had a friend who practiced the medical arts."
A soft pause. "That is all I can offer. Otou-san and the little princess knows much more but... He is gone now and she..." "What happened to Elruda-chiisai-hime?" Came Arya's quiet voice. "Disappeared without a trace..." Her voice trailed off. "Without a lead and after otou-san's passing...I did my own research. It is not uncommon for clan members to keep secrets from another. And with the events of the last year and half...clan numbers had dropped. We kept it a secret from the village but...it was not a rumor."
To Arya, she said: "Why did you refuse to point out the faces to my otou-san? Not even able to punish your captors...nor even know of bringing them forward now, be they have not already passed on... I do not know how to even begin apologizing..."
Arya spoke up. "You...you aren't the one who has to apologize. I'm glad...that neither Nyame-chan's nor Elruda-chiisai-hime's houses were involved. I don't wish for revenge..."
"Nyame-chan did what she could and I'm grateful. Both you and Elruda-chiisai-hime made it...a little more endurable..." Flickers of memories, of a vibrant short-haired Hyuuga child who insisted on Arya taking her untouched meals that the child snuck out from the main house. Food that weren't drugged with truth serum, medicine...even whatever little medical ninjutsu Nyame was able to do...and more than anything, the conversation Arya craved...in the dreadfully silent world of a bird with clipped wings...

Kaida continued to stare dazidly and giddily at the swirling lights untill suddenly she shook her head seeming to snap out of it..."Woooah...that was fun huh wahotts?"
Wahotts was still walking after fictitious lights upon his back until Kaida shook him suddenly and called his name. Wahotts shook suddenly and rolled over getting to his feet, late to the game he saw the many surrounding guards and his heckles raised imediately as he let loose an angry growl towards the others and positioned himself in front of Kaida.
Kaida was happy to see Wahotts was alright and she looked around as well when he began to snarl and act defensively. She saw the lady nearest them and presumed they were not in danger due to thier surroundings and the fact that Onii-sama was still and Naka-chan sensei was also not on the attack. But she could feel the tension, unfortunately she broke this tention when she noticed the stranger's face..."WOAH, what happend to her eyes onii-sama. Did one of those Hooga hurt her too like Ayra-chan?" she asked more curious than on the defense. It seemed the dizying state the jutsu ahd put her through had caused her to lose sight of the seriousness of the mission.
"Hush now Kaida..." Kusari stated simply knowing she would not question his instruction. He had been listening to the story but felt that it sounded all to convenient. The politics of houses and nobles had always rubbed him the wrong way because it was the reason for why his life was the way it was... Here in the presence of one such family leader who seemed to understand and play thier games quite well, he was on edge and uneasy. His grip got tighter on his sword handle and he did not lower his ready state at all, he simply kept himself near Nakamura and kaida waiting to her what the former's response to this tale would be. He personally could feel his muscles tightening and hsi body seemed like a bomb on a hair triger. One wrong move was liable to set him off. Like an angry dog snapping it's leash. His body recognized the signs of conflict and as always was sending signals to his brain encouraging the chance to exercise itself. His wits and his moral codes were what was keeping him from giving in to the demands of his body for violence and bloodshed.

She had grown weary of the speech she was made to endure. It must have been obvious that Nakamura wasn't referring to the Hidden Waterfall Village when she spoke of sending for aid. "I didn't ask for your village's history." Nakamura stated moving her left hand over Arya's right shoulder. There were other ways to communicate with another village then leaving by yourself. There was no excuse. As if to make it painfully obvious, Nakamura shifted her weight around, alloting for both of the ensignia's to be seen upon each shoulder. "I wasn't referring to Takigakure either. What happened to the pact between Yukigakure and Konohagakure? The Snow and the Leaf. There could have been many ways for you to commune with the outside world. There are no excuses you can give me that will make me forget the injustices splayed upon the two innocents that were killed; let alone the injuries that had been healed from within Arya." Nakamura had her emotions in check, but even with all of the control that she had, her breath was slowly becoming visible with each passing second.
Just to show that she was serious about this conversation, Nakamura lifted her hand from Arya's shoulder, her eyes scanning all of those around her. I doubt that they would be able to get through a reinforced Wall... she thought to herself. She became bolder, growing agitated that they seemed to be encircled like sharks homing in on their prey. "Call off your guards or I'll kill them. I'm already agitated at what little an effort your village put forth. I'd rather not feel like I'm being attacked again." Nakamura said in a calm voice, moving her body into a fighting position. Her legs spread themselves apart, just enough for her to get in the perfect position to launch up an Ice Wall if she needed to. Her right hand shifted with the Naginata, moving the hilt of the weapon beneath her arm, pointing the blade towards the one that had spoken. Her left hand, became raised and at the ready to fight.
"Arya is very forgiving, however, I am not. I don't wish for revenge, I wish for justice. Something this village has never shown to me." Nakamura declared. If they didn't stand down, she would make them.

A simple even reply to Nakamura's scorn. "One may scoff at history yet it has the answers thoust seek." Konoha was a village that thrived on its history, tradition shaped its village aspects as vividly as it did over six hundred years ago. If Nakamura could not understand that, yet claim she was an ally wronged by Konoha, then it was a selfish thought that never took to heart of the supposed ally's ways of life and mannerism. Especially in the case of a Great Shinobi Village like Konoha, who without natural boundaries had been attacked by foreign villages from all directions throughout history and well into recent years.
"They are on Hyuuga soil and have a right to remain." Nyame folded her arms calmly. "As Arya is no child, so are the young ones here. They are of my house, on whom this village's blacksmithing trade thrives. You may as well not involve them in politics, as they were originally gathered for my daily smithing lesson."
"They did not attack because they trusted me as your own guards had trusted you." Her pale eyes narrowed slightly. "And they've a right to be wary - this whole compound is protected with a special alarm fuuinjutsu seal, designed particularly by our village's Senju clan against intruders who attempts to leave foreign routes on this village's landmarks. Teleportational techniques are no unheard of secret, our ally Suna had a famous user. Foreign chakra entering a restricted area would temporarily disturb the seal and in the case of a portal, it will end up in the specific area pinpointed by the seal. In this case thus in their eyes...Lady Takikage's company are intruding in our village when we do not have a Hokage and for all practicality, on our complex." In other words, with the same suspicion Nakamura had treated Wrath except in the Konoha people's case...there wasn't even a present kage let alone a completely seated Council of Elders. Nyame was already quite frank in openly revealing that fact and in contrary to where most villages would've fallen short, Konoha dwelled quite well on its own.
Traditionally, a broken alarm technique would have meant instant attacks without question. It was true, that though the young Hyuuga clansmen did allow a fair distance so that Nakamura's party and Arya could have their talk without interruption, along with Nyame's order for them to lower their weapons, they watched the newcomers with lingering suspicion, making it quite clear that they would not leave Nyame under the possibility of being attacked. Or so at least their chakra levels spoke of, not killing intent but quite wary. Their loyalty to her was impressive...because she had been very kind to them.
"Arya was the only one the Senju/Hyuuga sentry guard had chanced upon. They did not meet her companions. Senju/Hyuuga sentry shifts are for tracking and interrogation, expertise with medical arts also meant as backup and supportive squads. If the others did run into an offensive sentry guard before this one...it will be our offensive shifts, of the wind archering Hatsuchi and shadow manipulating Nara groups."
A soft nod from Arya confirmed it. "We ran into a rogue shinobi group first...I'm not wholly sure...but they appeared to be fleeing... Ryuka and Hyoushi thought they were going to attack us and killed several before Ryuka was fatally shot by a wind arrow. But the Hatsuchis never chased after me when Hyoushi pushed me off the cliff... It...could be that the archer missed with Ryuka so close to the shinobi he was fighting...... But then, Hyoushi...?" Arya and her group did not bear dual village representation either, taking only the customary Taki headband. It would've probably been more mediated if they had done so, as Yuki was internationally considered a neutral village.
"As for Yukigakure's case...I have recently joined the Council of Elders in the head of family's absence...but there does not exist a treaty between our villages." Her gaze fixed calmly on Nakamura - the teenager wasn't lying. "Several treaties were there, a major one with Suna and two minor with Kusa and Ame concerning border issues recently settled. But either if Ransen-dono fail to pass the proposal to the Council before his death..." Nyame became thoughtful. "Also, each time a new Kage is instated, it is customary to visit our allies. Ransen-dono's successor, Lady Cerbi, never formalized plans to visit Yuki."
So both Taki and Yuki were foreigners in the Konoha villagers' eyes... Leaving several possibilities. If Ryuka was killed because he was unfortunately so close to a rogue-shinobi and the Hatsuchi archer missed then...what did happen to the other? Of the hunter-nins who disposed of the rogue shinobi corpses, they only reported one body belonging to an indentifiable village... But Nyame would not know of such matters.
An elegant eyebrow raised. "Outside contact? We do make exceptions for allys of our allys however...our formal ally Suna was also secluded from the outside world. We had problems with Kusa and Ame upon Ransen-dono's death over territory...and rumors spoke that Oto was breaking their territorial treaty with us too. You sent a recon squad into Fire Country during a time of civil war, where we had no leader, combated international disputes, and expected immediate recognition as allies when our Hokage has just passed away?" More softly.
"In a time where we have only just received a new Hokage, our villagers suspiciously watched foreign shinobi. Historically and well into today, we're recorded for the village being most often attacked. But the trip to Suna was necessary for treaty renewal; with most of Konoha's higher-ups on the diplomatic emissary, those remaining saw it was their duty to defend their village from foreign threats (Kusa, Ame, Oto) until the Council returns. Certainly your own villagers would not have done much differently, to defend their homes and village, in your own absence."
A pause. "But I'm neither the Hokage nor an older councilwoman, so I can speak for neither party. The Hatsuchi and Nara clans just recently unlocked their compounds (most clans bolted their compounds during the Fire Master's rule) and may be able to better recount the fate of your missing shinobi. As for Arya's case, my house can speak for the head family's absence (primary main house)...whatever Arya wishes for in reparation for her imprisonment, we'll make it up to her. Until then, I shall welcome any other questions to the best of my ability."

" I've had ENOUGH of your political babble. You and the rest of your so called noble ilk play these games of treateis and agreements in order for you to try to stab each other in the back and use them as shields to justify your own wrongdoings." As Kusari snarled from beneath facial wrappings His Kiri headband glinted in the light, having not yet received a headband of Takigakure. "Call of your guards or thier blood will be on your hands." he snarrled again his chakra spikeing once his lethal intent towards the guards able to be detected both my his words, his attitude and by ones senses. His body was screaming to be let loose, off it's chain and allowed to fight and act against this surrounding threat. If Nakamura acted offensively or defensively and did not call him off... or the demands were not met, he was sure to go at them full force, despite their, age, numbers, or ability. He was ready to act.
Izumi was begining to be scared by Kusari's words and the tension she could feel from her Onii sama but she attempted to steel herself against it and remained quiet. Apparently these people with the strange eyes were the infamous Hooga. Trying to be brave in the face of her first mission, she could hear Wahotts still growling angrily as well as he stood between her and danger and she felt safer and stronger by hearing him. SHe placed a hand on his side and stood at teh ready as well unsure of what would happen next

Nyame-hime apparently felt there was no need to grace Kusari with an answer or even indication to having heard because she was not talking to him in the first place so the guards of her house did nothing, not even blink at the killing intent. This clan's famous calm, for now simply observing the foreigners' actions. To them, threats meant nothing. Many were high hunter-nin level like Arya but without melee weaknesses, a good number rivaling their village's Sannin in strength; this clan only having fierce training to occupy on ever since the older families of Konoha shut their clans from the village upon the usurper's reign - they were strong no longer in simply their family Taijutsu.
Their elemental affinities were just as varied and medics were mixed in with the offensive and genjutsu type, noticeably some were even seal masters by the ropes of honor they wore around their neck. There were weapon masters, recognizable by their choice of multiple light weapons and weapon summoning scrolls. A few were of the rarer lethal type that manipulated puppets. By the odd colour of those whom wielded bladed weapons like the yari spear or naginata, it was assumedly poisoned too - thanks to the poison cultivation traditions of the Senju clan. A simple fuuinjutsu technique would be enough to shut off the compound from the village and the ninjutsu masters though like Arya were built for heavy combat, also had the advantage of extended chakra reserves.
"Nyame-hime? Nyame-hime! I come to check if you had picked up the scroll yet, it's sweet to arrange a welcome party for me but isn't this a bit too much?" A certain dark-haired Senju ANBU captain was at the doorway to the courtyard, curiously eyed the congregation, then at the foreigners. "Eh?" Anzu waved his hand in front of the nearest Hyuuga's eyes. No response. Pft. With Byakugan activated, attention probably focused elsewhere.
Wait a minute. He recognized this as...
Pre-battle mode Hyuuga clan. Analyzing the subjects if they were threats or not. And it seems some have decided for the worse now by the gradual shifting in chakra levels. "Um...what's going on...?" The Senju Sannin inquired curiously, hoping the pale-eyed teen next to him will respond.
"Please, Anzu-sama. It is not of the Senju clan's concern." There was no killing intent among the group yet but despite their calm...Anzu knew them well enough to feel the barest hinting to resentment. They could care less of threats directed towards themselves, having plenty from their own villagers who resented the clan's autonomy...who blamed their seemingly uncaring demeanor of Konoha's well-being. But to dare threaten Nyame-hime openly, though members of the Hyuuga family were normally not belligerent and attentive to orders, resentment was there. Impassionately, the weapon and puppet masters were inclined to make up their minds to rid the annoying Mist shinobi first should Nyame-hime take a defensive or offensive stand. Also, their own kempo stance was quite easy to slip into.
Upon the order, they will readily expunge any unwelcome foreigners from their village. And to pick a fight particularly with Nyame's house, the foreigners would be gravely mistaken. She had pushed them to learn different fields and to work together for one reason: to become the head family's personal guard. Thus, among the clan, smithing was but a mere side hobby while their true usage was as the clan's and perhaps this village's largest yet most effective singular fighting force. Mostly composed of main family members, but with notable cadet members present as well.

Conan came into the compound not much longer after Anzu but apparently had missed something. Briefly scanning his surroundings Conan saw Nyame Anzu and a bunch of other’s and none of then looked very friendly. Not sure of what to do Conan moved himself behind Anzu with his head poking out. Thinking to himself don’t worry Conan im sure everything’s fine. And besides if anything dose happen just stay close to Anzu-sensei now standing behind Anzu, Conan quietly whispered to him “ is everything okay Anzu-sensei?”Conan hoped that nothing would happen that way no one would get hurt. Who knows maybe they’ll be able to talk it out. Conan thought as he hid himself behind Anzu
Moku was wondering what exactly was going on. He had been looking for Anzu for a while. There were certain rumors going around that Moku wanted conformation on. And who better to ask then Anzu , the Senju clan elder. He was probably the only one who would really tell him anyting anyway. When Moku had arrived at the Senju estate he was surprised to see Anzu run right by him followed by a young boy. grate just what I need. Some un-necessary exercise. Moku had followed Anzu and the boy to the Hyuuga compound. Now just standing on the outskirts of all the commotion that was going on. There was some ninja who decided it was smart to threaten a group of Hyuugas wish it was me Moku thought to himself as he simply watched and waited to find the truth he wanted. If it was even worth it anymore Moku had no idea. Sighing to himself Moku thought all in the name of truth

"None of my concern?" Anzu began rather indignantly. A small girl next to him, a little older than Kaida perhaps, but a puppet manipulator rivaling even the old Senju head of family in skill and power finally answered. "They threatened Nyame-hime." She said softly and seemingly calmly, but Anzu knew them well enough to hear rage. Sannin level puppets, forged by Nyame, were around the child but Anzu would know better...in that large scroll that small girl carried, there were more puppets. Hyuuga clan were the only wholly living puppeteers who could use that technique and use it quite well because of how their chakra system developed, was able to extend chakra and manipulate from all tenketsu nodes of the body.
"And why?" The next words from the child surprised him. "They sent shinobi to our country without initial announcement and now wishes justice for killing two and imprisoning one." Anzu's look darkened at the well-suppressed killing intent. A hand patted the child gently on the head. "Come, now. Of Nyame-hime's house...I will not allow them to touch her." Protests from the gathered stirred at the order. "Anzu-sama!" Anzu gestured further down the courtyard. "Wait there if it will ease you. If you still feel uncomfortable, leave your Byakugan activated."
Then to the foreigners, the raven-haired teenager spoke calmly but his tone was very cold. "I am Senju Anzu, head of the Council of Elders. In the Kage's absence I watch over Konoha." Amber-golden eyes narrowed. "I will give a warning in return. Not only are you intruding on Fire Country territory and Konoha village but threatening my people? Threaten any of my villagers again, autonomous or not, and though Nyame-hime may've forbidden her clan members to attack - I will disregard the Senju clan's traditional neutrality and take that as an open declaration of war." His calm glare was settled on the Mist shinobi.
The usually calm ANBU captain was not kidding - rather, he was furiously indignant. According to the child's words, a long while back Taki had sent shinobi to Konoha...whatever their reasons were. But they had not adhered to the traditional accordance of the Five Great Shinobi villages who would send a head notice of an ensuing visit. Then it was by their own fault for being booked as enemies and now was daring enough to threaten the primary sentry clan while claiming they were the innocent ones? Anzu had given his warning. If they attacked, he will keep true to his word and the foreigners shall not leave this village unscathed. He was fully prepared, to mix his blood with Mokouton...the warning trees of blood to issue emergency village galvanization. The Hyuuga clan's estate trees were no mere decorations either, all those of the surrounding forest and in this village was meant as further security methods. As long as there's earth, be it even solid rock, is this village's stronhold.
Though he may have had the members of Nyame's gathered house to give some room, Anzu motioned for the young Hatsuchi clan councilman to come closer and he himself stood a little in front of Nyame-hime. The same Hyuuga child who had talked to him, the puppeteer with unblinking glass-like eyes, motioned for Conan to get behind her. And though Anzu's gaze was not particularly on Kusari, his words were as sharp as newly forged blades. "Here's another of Konoha's sentry clans. I advise to keep to words rather than threats."

[Sense motive (81) + d20 (5) = 86 -18 to future rolls]
It was as if no words had ever reached her ears. All of this senseless talking. It would seem that with each Kage that died, a fool replaced it. One that she would have to meet and endure long hours of mindless chatter before anyone would listen. How she missed Kon Echibia, Rasen Hyuuga, and Brawen Mitoshi. The previous Kage of the Leaf village, yet none of them were ever smart enough to follow through her own background. How she had lived in the Leaf Village and was originally intended to be part of the Leaf Village's arsenal. No, instead, why would one care about someone's background? How little information was exchanged.
Several years ago, Nakamura had personally delivered a request to Kon, her sensei and friend, that she was sending shinobi to the Leaf Village to scout about. What happened after that, was beyond her knowledge. Now she was supposed to just sit back and take more damage from the Leaf Village? No. She wasn't. Not again. They had already wrongfully accused her clan of trying to assassinate the Kage because of her mother. She knew her story well, though she couldn't place faces to any names. Now that she was strong enough to do something about it, she wouldn't be held responsible for what was to come next. Nakamura had been pushed over the edge.
Simpletons. When was their precious Hyuuga threatened? The lives of thier comrades were threatened for weilding their weapons. There was such a thing as diplomatic immunity for no acts of crime were commited in the village. That was, untill the first move was made by the unwelcomed intruder. "Your scare tactics mean nothing to me. Though, I think I'll show you what true fear is." Nakamura whispered, sending her chakra out and around her comrades, seperating them from everyone else. Ice Wall Justu! Nakamura thought, seemingly a large ice wall erupted from the ground around them, seperating them all completly. They had enough room to move, and this was her chance. ZENJIN! TO MY SIDE!" Nakamura shouted in her mind. They wanted to try and play with fear, and she only knew of one creature that was terrifying to anyone that didn't know him. Thier words didn't scare her, but only caused her to get angrier. Her chakra seeming to flood out of her as if a damn had just opened from within her body. Every pour on her was glistening as if her inner protection was leaking onto the outside. A very clear, very real, ice sheen formed upon the surface of her skin as well as beneath it. The absence of emotional control at it's finest.
Within seconds, the Ice wall exploded outwards, revealing a very angry, very large wolven companion of Nakamura. His presence itself caused the ice to shatter into thousands of tiny particles. Just looking at him sent a chilling wave out from his own body. From there, he let out a low growl which came to form words. "You cowards are at it again? Last time when you chased her clan from the village she was too young to understand. Now that she is old enough, you don't even give her the time of day. It's filth like you that allow your villages to be overrun by people like the Master's! If it weren't for them, your pathetic village would be burning to the ground right now. It's because of them that they had liberated your village! And because of paper you are shunning them. I should rip out your throats where you stand! Enouh of your babble. Those of you who don't want to die, LEAVE NOW!!!" Zenjin barked, his own anger fueling him. Even as he spoke, his body seemed to shift in and out, reveling in a strange mist that appeared from his body. If that didn't scare them all into her wishes, then she felt that the only way to get through would be to take them down, one by one.
