*Hums as he sits on the cool tile floor, his legs crossed with a copy of "Magical Me" (the large print version) open on his lap; studies its pages with a soft, almost sad frown, the noises from his throat growing forlorn as the text fails to spark any recognition*
Well this is a miserable situation! *Snaps the book shut* Truly unfair to be such a wonderful man and not know it!
*Dramatic sigh* Maybe tomorrow...

*Thrusts the shampoo up at him with a smile, having picked wildflowers around their his home to make it*
You'd really give me an autograph? *Already has a bazillion at home*

My head is having a 'fuzzy' day, I have notes in my autobiography to remind myself of things. *Places the bottle on one of his shelves, plucking up the book and flipping to a random page* You see - you were married to Harry Potter, and despite your best interests, you are still in love with him. If a handsome man with horribly kept black hair and ugly but endearing glasses comes to visit, send him away as dramatically as you can. *Beams again* I would never know these things without my own guidance! Terribly clever of me, isn't it?

*Can't help but grin again, despite once again feeling sad and a bit angry, Harry hardly ever visited anymore*
Yeah, that is really clever.
*Doesn't make a point to have him connect those words to the man in the picture*
So, do you want to do something? *Nibbles on his lower lip, looking up at Gilderoy through his lashes, thinking about a board game or brushing his hair or something, whatever Gilderoy might want to do for the day*
I could brush your hair, or I could read your books to you, if you want?

Oh I want to talk. The healers here are absolutely trollish, I can't talk to them at all. *Throws himself onto the edge of his bed, crossing his legs elegantly and patting the crisp white sheet beside him* Come, G... Godfrey! *Grins broadly* Your name is Godfrey, isn't it? Yes. Yes, I'm quite certain it's Godfrey.

Yes! I mean, yes, it's Godfrey! I'm glad you remembered.
*Crosses the room and hops enthusiastically up onto the bed next to Gilderoy, turning to face him and drawing one leg under himself, letting the other dangle down towards the floor, and then he pulled his tail partly into his lap so he could run his fingers through the fur*
What do you want to talk about?
*Reaches up to push some of his hair out of his eyes, an entirely useless gesture because it just fell back wherever it wanted to, and gives Gilderoy his full and eager attention*

*Launches into an animated reiteration of what he'd read on himself that morning, gesturing with the enthusiasm of a preteen girl awaiting the appearance of a boyband*
.. but, of course, I'm clever enough to know purple is NOT something one wears with pink unless there's a third color involved in the outfit to balance it.

*Listens, nodding in all the right places, but is mostly just watching Gilderoy speak and his mannerisms and letting him talk to his heart's desire*
Oh, I.... *Pauses for a moment, trying to think of what to use today* .... I belong to a youth group called 'Gorgeous.' It stands for..... Gilderoy is Outstanding, Really, Gorgeous... er... Endearing, Otherwordly, Uncanny, and er..... Shiny.
*Nods quickly, biting his lower lip to keep from giggling*
It's a Hogwarts school fanclub, and I'm the President! My sister's my assistant, she takes down things I tell her to write, and fetches butterbeer and things like that.
*Leans forward a bit conspiratorially, his lips twitching with the effort to be serious and not grin*
I'm afraid she's not the smartest person in the world, quite the opposite actually, but she's so eager, it just....
*Sighs dramatically, smiling as if thinking of someone he was fond of, but really imagining how angry Adela would be if she heard this*
...... I try to do my best to make her happy and make her feel included, the poor thing.
*Knows he wouldn't be getting away with this if his poor Papa wasn't all mush-brained*

How kind of you, Godfrey! It is quite frustrating to deal with those who lack the talent that comes so easily to people like you and I. We pity them, of course, but it does get tiring carrying their dead weight on our already world-supporting shoulders... *Sighs and gestures*
...Would you like a cup of chocolate milk? *Beams* I'm afraid I love the stuff, as fattening as it is, and I'm craving it. Shall I have the nurse bring you a cup as well?
