It's my birthday today ^___^
it's a very special year 3nodding not sure if I should say exactly how old I'm turning, because I might getz in trouble ;O
aw, what the heck! I'm turnin' into a teenager this year!
I know, I know - I'm young, but I'm advanced like... one or two years in school, and I get the highest grades in my class, so who cares? HEHE

Tomoko Tama Syrinx330 -plays happy birthday on her bassoon...or attempts to...then spares everyone and switches to flute- ^_^ Happy birthday! How does it feel to be a year older? strangely... it doesn't ._. I feel completely indifferent. How odd. Yeah, that happened to me when I turned thirteen. I woke up, expecting to feel completely different, then felt ripped off when I felt exactly the same.

Yeah...it's kind of depressing. I was really excited for 16, but I woke up that morning and I was like...wow...I can get my permit and get a job...
Well, I turned 16 the 29th of October...and I still don't have my permit ^_^;
I got called a dork by a bunch of 6th graders because I still don't have it, and even my mom is urging me to get off my lazy butt and get it.
I had a few friends over the weekend before for a small party, and I guess I used up my excitedness during that.

...forgive me. I get really weird when I'm sleep-deprived. What kinds of books do you like? I could recommend a few if you're looking to read more books. Also, yeah, the yesterday morning, I cooked breakfast for Spanish class (there are only 9 of us, so we do special things), basically it was baked cheese with chile peppers and sausage (chorizo) and it was fabulous! Go for weird recipes, and try new things, that's what I like to do. My dad always cooks many different things, and then I like to every once in a while try a random odd fruit from the grocery store. Like, kumquats (kumquat = <3), kiwano fruit, and then well...kiwis are more popular, but apparently I am allergic to them, even if its a small reaction, its obviously gotten worse through the years since I didn't notice it really until last year. =O Right now I'm going to read Dragon by Stephen Brust, the first book is Taltos (pronounced Taltosh, hehe). Good books.

Hmmm... maybe I'll try that (both the book and the cooking)
I'm currently reading 'Death in Cyprus' by M.M. Kaye. Only just started it, though. My personal favourite book is probably 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde. I loved that book heart heart heart
Anything of that sort would be good. I know, people don't really expect this of someone like myself, but I love reading really deep or 'psychological' books xp
I also like Douglas Adams' work - fantastic rofl
p.s. if you like weird recipes, try cinnamon, lemon and chili in your pasta sauce!

OMG! Douglas Adams is my hero. Only, I always picked up "Long Dark Teatime of the Soul" at the wrong time, where I wouldn't have enough time to read it and wind up getting frustrated and putting it down. D*=
That was the same with "The Picture of Dorian Gray". Speaking of Oscar Wilde, did you read/watch ever "The Importance of Being Earnest"? That made me laugh so hard! We did a unit on it in English, read it, then watched the most recent movie of it.
I'd have to say some good books I really really liked were "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo, "We Have Always Lived in the Castle", can't remember who its by, but it was really deranged, and the ending was unexpected, "I Capture the Castle" by Dodie Smith, anything by Garth Nix (well, mostly his novels, I don't like the series as much, his Abhorsen trilogy is fabulous!), Michael Crichton, and now Steven Brust.
That sounds really interesting for a weird recipe. I won't try it today because I'm not feeling well (well...mentally not feeling well which made me have absolutely no hunger whatsoever today). Though, I learned recently, never eat Garlic raw...I had a huge chunk that I thought was cooked, my dad grilled it, but it didn't cook all the way, and I thought I was going to die. Dx G.F.H. (Garlic from Hell)

Well, never eat garlic raw in large ammounts. Little tiny bits chopped up and dumped in plain rice with soy sauce is very nice 3nodding
Forgive me - I'm (half)Chinese. I like that stuff xd
So, you've read the Dirk Gently books then? I finished 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' a little while ago, and I wanted to read 'Long dark Teatime of the Soul' but I couldn't find it in any of the bookstores emo
"Important of Being Earnest" - never heard of it. I'll look it up on Shelfari.
...do you have a Shelfari account? It's a brilliant website XD
