I really think Bella is going to go after Jacob AFTER she is turned into a vampire, because remember in the beging of the first book Bella said she loves the heat and hates the cold,. And Edward is cold and Jacob is hot. Maybe after she is turned into a vampire, she will want to be with Jacob. Maybe after she turns, Edward wont want her anymore cuz she wont be warm anymore and she wont have her smell anymore. If he really loved her then why did he leave? Hoping that she would forget him and move on?? Not a chance. I know Edwards hott but he is very dumb. Why would she want to forget him?? He is one of the loves of her life. Also look at the titles, Twilight, the begining of night, New Moon, No Moon (Edward cause he glows ing the dark in a way) Eclipse, the EARTH (Bella) getting in the MIDDLE of the SUN (Jacob) and MOON (Edward) also meaningt she is split between them, and Breaking Dawn, meaning the sun coming up (Jacob) so she has to do with Jacob, it HAS to.

hate to break it to you hon but its edward all the way i mean he's freakin hot why would bella destry that ? if bella began crushing on jacob then why did she constantly want him back? can you answer me that? confused rolleyes

Thinks about it.
If you were madly in love with someone, and them being with you almost got them killed on numerous accounts, and also put their life and the lives of their family and friends in danger just being near them...wouldn't you want them to try and forget about you and move on, in order to keep them out of harms way?

Not only that, but Jacob had said before tha their friendship would end if she turned. Werewolves and vampires have a sworn pact not to cross eachothers boundries, and the two of them in a relationship together is not only unheard of but, and Jacob made this painfully clear, not something he was interested in. Neither the vampies nor the werewolves liked the others smell in any sense.
You should really think things out a bit more...

I'm not saying that Edward isn't the sex, but I choose Jacob. I don't really feel like elaborating on that at the present time. Perhaps a later date...

for Bella I would chose Edward all the way, its just the way it is, Jacob hasn't yet imprinted or whatever the word is, so even if Bella chose him he could end up having to leave her, I think Jacob will find someone by the end of the series, but not Bella sorry, if she were a ware wolf I think she would have imprinted on Edward anyways, and since they practically got married at the end of eclipse then what will she do divorce her husband for him? seriously, you have good points but you could twist them into any conclusion.

Bella is going to live with Edward. Do you really think after the pain she has to go through, that she will just move on to the vampires natural enemy? (I know, the truce, but STILL) And! Edward would be married to Bella, do you think she gonna walk up to him one day "Sorry, we're through, Jacob is who I want, not you. We need a divorce. I need to call my lawyer, were is the phone?" and starts scrambling around looking for a phone to call the lawyer and Jacob. Jacob knows Edward is who she needs, he admits it in Eclipse. Sorry, but Jacob is not winning the game with Bella as the grand prize

we've had this topic so many times already but...
i think bella should go for Edward and definitely not Jacob, but i've seen a lot of twilight videos on youtube in which steven strait is jacob which makes it really hard to choose.
In the end I'm going to be for TEAM EDWARD, Jacob's a great guy he would be perfect for Bella but only if Edward didn't exist. Unfortunately for Jacob, Edward does exist and Jacob is going to have to take second place

Even though Bella is perfect with Edward, I like Jacob a ton more. I guess I'm just a werewolf person, and I love warmth as well. Maybe I prefer Jacob for her just because I like him so much myself...

Edward and Bella are meant for each other.
Period.
Like others have said, if Edward didn't exist, Bella and Edward would be together.
But yes, I personally love Jacob twenty-billion times stronger than Edward.
I'm a Jacob fangirl, yes, but even I know that it's Edward and Bella all the way.
If anything happens between Jacob and Bella it'd probably that they struggle to remain friends even though she's changed. (Which I doubt, a lot). But yeah, Jacob will get his chance I believe. I can't wait until he imprints on someone that deserves him. =]<3333 Waiting for his happy ending.

If Jacob imprinted on someone, I think it would break Bella's heart. However, it seems almost inevitable.
What if he imprints on Bella the first time he sees her as a vampire?
