I know that not everyone may have seen the new episodes of Season 4 yet, but I'd just like to get an opinion about the new companion. Will she be as well loved as Rose? Will she be hated on by many because she's a ginger? Will she annoy us because she's snarky? Or will we learn to like/love her in the end of it all??? I'm just curious, so for the sake of everyone/anyone who has not seen the fourth season yet, just post your opinions, and please no spoilers smile Thank you 4laugh

I think she's a bit annoying, but she certainly has some charms.

i think Donna is awesome she is most definatly one of my favorite companions, and yes given the chance i think they'd make a great couple.

Donna is one of my favorite companions. So good finding one who wasn't lin love with the Doctor.

She is definitely my favorite companion... the thing is she doesn't have romantic feelings for the doctor which makes them a perfect pair. mrgreen

Donna is the best! Her attitude makes her HILARIOUS! She is awesome, and she made a good doctor. THE DOCTOR DONNA!

For plots sake Donna was a good friend. Rose was a "lover," Martha was the friend who was in love with him (we've all had those), and Donna was the friend. Which can only leave me wondering what the next long-term companion will be like.

Personally I hated donna when she was first introduced. I'm talking Runaway Bride here. She was loud, annoying, and stupid to boot. I was rather upset when I found out she was the full time Companion in season 4 but she grew on me. As her grandfather said in the finale, she was better with the Doctor. By the end of it I loved having her around. She was sassy and not afraid to tell the Doctor he was wrong. And I was incredibly happy to have a Companion who wasn't in love with the Doctor.

I think Donna was one of the best yet because she wasn't just another young girl head-over-heels for the Doctor. She was different from his past companions, and maybe that's why I liked her so much. She wasn't like Martha, who, to me, seemed far to vanilla when it came to her personality.

well donna is more funnny. rose is more clever and i think that the doctor would prefer Rose as she knows what to do

Donna was really annoying in the beginning, but she got better, and in the end, I really liked her.

I hated her in the Runaway Bride. But other than that I loved her! Plus, I don't think Rose was the best companion. I really thought she was the worst companion of all the one's I've seen.
Donna is the best because she's not like "I lovessss you!!!!" She's like "OY! ALIEN BOY!"
