Try playing the 2x time you want for a month without the card. If you see that you can stick with it most of the time, the card is worth it. If you can't, then it's not. You don't have to train during that month, do PQs. That'll get you experience at a decent rate, though not as fast as 2x would.

when i got my first 2x card last summer, i was really just like, training because i spent money on it. after a while i realised that i was getting about 100% a day at level 70-100. though it got really borring when i got to my second card. because i slowed down a ton since it was so borring. like 4 hours, i just wanted it to go by already.

2 dollar cards ... as soon as you buy it its work for the 4 hours
then disappears ... one use only but its better then buying a 30 day one and not having the time to train
