Ariadyne wanders into the lobby of the Hotel with a single suitcase with her. She walks up to the receptionist's desk and puts her suitcase on the ground.
"Welcome to the Gaian Apartments, how may I help you today?"
"Good day, I'm Dr. Morlock. I've been transfered here to the Gaian Hospital...I believe I have a reservation."
"...one moment please."
The receptionist starts typing some things into the computer.
"Ariadyne Morlock I presume?"
(smiling) "Yes."
"Yes, you are in Room 42...let me get you your key."
She gets up and goes to the key rack behind her and searches for the key.
"Ah, here it is!"
She picks up the key and sits back behind the desk, handing Ariadyne the key.
"Thanks for choosing Gaian Apartments, and have a nice day."
"Yeah, you too. When my luggage arrives do you think it would be too much trouble to tell them to send it on up to my room?"
(smiling) "No, not at all."
"Thank you."
She picks up her suitcase and goes over to the elevator. Soon she is in one of the hallways and finds Room 42. She unlocks the door and goes on in.

Kamui wanders into the lobby of the Gaian apartments, looking around. His fluffy kitsune tail swishes from side to side, and his ears twitch once or twice before he locks his eyes onto the woman behind the desk. He smiled and walked to the desk.
"Hello. Welcome to the Gaian Apartments. How may I help you?"
"Greetings. I''m Kamui and I''m an intern that helps out any doctors or nurses that need help. I think I made a reservation next to a...."
He extracts a pad from his pocket and looks at it.
"..A Dr. Morlock?"
The receptionist looks at the computer and types some things in. After a few moments, she looks up with a smile.
"Yes, here we are. Mr. Kamui...you have room 43, right next to Dr. Ariadyne Morlock. I''ll get your key."
She leaves the desk for a moment to fetch the key off of the key rack before returning to her seat and handing the key to him.
"Here you are. Will you be carrying any luggage in today?" She asks, peering over the desk.
Kamui shakes his head.
"Not today. My luggage will be coming in early tomorrow."
"Very well." She hands him his key. "Thank you for choosing the Anime Hotel and have a nice day."
"Thanks. You too."
He takes the key and heads up to his room. After a bit of looking around, he finds his room. He unlocks it and walks in, closing it behind him and walking to a bed. He sits down and looks around.
"Homely."

Ariadyne was gazing out the window when a knock came to her door.
"Ah, finally."
She went over to the door and checked the peep hole to make sure it was the bell boy before she let him in.
"Good day Miss Morlock, I have your luggage."
He wheeled in the luggage carrier and began to unload her bags.
"So, you're in town because...?"
"I'm a doctor at the Hospital. Well, a PhD. I'll mostly be working in the labratory."
"The Gaian Hospital is one of the finest around, I'm sure you'll find their facilities are more than sufficient."
"From what I've heard it seems like a fairly respected place."
He'd finished unloading her luggage. She took out her wallet and handed him his tip.
"Thank you, and have a nice day Dr. Morlock."
"You too."
She closed to door behind him and proceeded to unpack her things.

Tael, looking a little lost and confused, walked into the Hotel. She approached the desk and asked, I believe I have a reservation?
And you would be? the receptionist asked.
Tael, feeling a little flustered, said, Sorry. I forgot. I'm new here and all. I am Dr. Nightengale.
Nightengale... Nightengale... the receptionist muttered as she looked through the computer records, Dr. Tael Nightengale?
Yes, that would be me.
Just transferred here, eh? Working over at the hospital?
Yes. Psychologist.
Well, you're in room 33. And... the receptionist searched for the key, Here is your key. Thank you for choosing Gaian Apartments, and please enjoy your stay.
Is it all right if my luggage is sent to my room?
Not a problem.
Oh, all right, Tael smiled. Thanks! She entered the elevator and before long was on the second floor where her room is.

Down in the first floor lobby Ariadyne collected some snacks from the vending machines to take to living area where she sat down on one of the couches. She placed her snacks on the coffee table and pulled out a copy of John Milton's Paradise Lost from her bag to read. The Apartment building atmosphere would take a bit of getting used to, but Ariadyne was determined to make the best of it.

Deciding she would take care of her luggage later (she had no idea when it would be in anyway), Tael headed downstairs to the living area, with an mp3 player and a copy of Shakespeare's The Tempest to read. Along the way, she had to pick up a can of diet cola, because she always did feel that caffiene helped her read better. She wandered into the room, looking around. The chairs at least looked comfortable. She plopped down in one, turned on her mp3 player, and opened her book.

Merrique walks into the lobby of the Gaian Apartments, blinks and looks around.
Finally, she mutters under her breath, it took me forever to find this place, only I could get lost in a place like this.
Shaking her head she notices several people had over heard her talking to herself.
Ehehehe, she laughs nervously, then noticing the location front desk she made an decision to get her room before she embarassed herself any more then necessary.
As Merrique appraoches the front desk she manages to gracefully trip over... something, and fall flat on her face.
Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! she mutters, way to NOT draw attention to yourself Merrique.
Sighing, she gets up and dusts herself off, and then continues to the front desk.
Erm, hi, I do believe I have a reservation in this building, she paused, ...I hope.
May I have your name please? asked the receptionist looking up from her magazine.
Umm, yeah, sure. It's Merrique.
Merrique??? the receptionist paused waiting for a last name.
Just Merrique, embarassed at the skeptical look the receptionist gives her she hastily adds I... I... I don't have a last name, it's just Merrique... it's all it's ever been.
In the awkward silence that follows Merrique is silently kicking herself.
Why do I always do that?? she thinks Why am I always sticking my foot in my mouth??
The receptionist types out Merrique's name and hits enter.
Yes we have a resevation here for a Merrique, the room number is 13. Just let me get your key.
The receptionist gets up and goes to a key rack and instantly find the key. She returns and passes the key to Merrique.
Here you are ma'am, will your luggage be arriving today?
No, it should be in tomorrow morning. Could you please have it sent to my room?
Not a problem, I hope you enjoy your stay.
Smiling Merrique thanks the lady and heads off to find her room.
Great, Merrique laughed as she wandered around looking for her room, Lucky room number 13...

Ariadyne lifted her eyes from the epic poem for a moment to see what was going on. Apparently the building had gotten much more lively since she'd arrived. She put down the book for a moment and took a sip of her drink. One of the people seemed to have been stareing at her since he entered the room, so she decided to go over and talk to him.
"Good evening, are you staying here for awhile as well?"
She held her hand out and waited for a response.

Tael looked around. Where were all these people coming from? She shrugged, realising it wasn't like she was the popular one anyway, turned the volume up on her mp3 player and continued reading the play.

Kamui blinked, his bushy tail slightly curling around himself. Then he smiled and took Ariadyne's hand, shaking it. "That I will. Kamui Uesegi, at your service. I'm actually..an intern. I want to be a doctor, so for the time being, I'm interning in helping doctors and nurses whenever I can."
