G'day all!!
Things have been going well. I don't think I ever told you guys te reason for my absence. I've was accepted into the Qantas Cadetship to become a pilot! I've had to move nearly 1000km from Sydney down to Melbourne to complete the course. Things have been hectic so I haven't had the time to drop by and say "hello". So how is everyone else?

Awesome news on you becoming a pilot! That's great!
I'm about a month away from finishing up my graduate studies of occupational therapy and after a 3 month clinical this summer will able to become a licensed therapist. I can't wait!

holy cats, Wingo's back! Welcome back. Now I can destroy you again. I've been extremely busy, sleeping very little, and working entirely too much. I have a few hours to go before I can sleep, but when I'm done (hopefully by 7) , I can crash and get 12 hours before work tomorrow.

Nymph, in thy orisons... -.-.-| ---[ Wow! That sounds pretty awesome and exciting. What's Melbourne like? I've always wanted to go and visit. It looks really cool. (Much cooler than Townsville, anyway.)

It is excitin! But Melbourne sucks! It is such a boring city, especially compared to Sydney. I eve prefer Townsville over it razz I wont be flying any Qantas planes for another year or two, but when I do I'll be on the international flights. So if you're flying over to South Africa (the flights new pilots get stuck with) I'll likely be one of your pilots razz

You speak blasphemy! Canberra is the Florida of Australia, it is the retirement state! (or territory to be correct). Sydney is definately not overrated, it all depends on where you have come from. Myself, I'm from the shire! We have plenty, beaches, national parks, shopping centres, there is heaps to do and see. Unlike Melbourne. Its all farm land and hinter land... very boring.

Nymph, in thy orisons... -.-.-| ---[ I was born in Canberra. A city of politicians - suits me just fine. And it's so beautiful!
Sydney I never liked. Too many people. Granted, there are lots of things to see and do, but it still always felt overcrowded to me. But Melbourne is supposed to be our cultural capital! Plenty of jazz clubs and other awesome things. ]--- |-.-.- ...are all my sins remembered.

I've never really been into the arts, I've always been interested in the natural world. I guess that may be why I prefer my area of Sydney. Personally, I haven't really seen that many "arty" things on. It must only be in the centre of the city... Kind of like Newtown in Sydney

I like arty things. Not enough goes on in Townsville - oh, we have the occasional play or musical, and the Palmer Street Jazz Festival once a year, but otherwise it's quite dull here. I spend most of my time at home or at uni. ]--- |-.-.- ...are all my sins remembered.
