I am re-working a conlang I have and I want to keep it grammatically simple. I have thought of just having a 'past' and 'non-past' tense, but in the event I want to talk of a future event....what would I do? One of the solutions I thought of previously was to use a future word like 'tomorrow' ....
any suggestions?

Well, I have a past, present, and a future tense in Niora, but that's it. How do you indicate past/non-past? (And... wouldn't non-past be the present? Maybe you could use the non-past for the future or something...)
I indicate past and future tense with a particle after the verb in Niora. I find it works quite well for me. =)
Page la. = I swim. Page saha la. = I swam. Page moshe la. = I will swim.
OR you could just refuse to touch on the matter and not have a future tense. cool

I had it worked out so that all the verbs would be in past tense and there would be a particle to indicate 'non-past', but I gave it some thought earlier and just decided to have a future tense. Having just two was a little beyond my means right now, I need to do more research on the matter. I will save that for a different ConLang. I like how you put Niora together. It is really cute soundiing and very straight forward, no extra grammatical stuff. (that was nice of you!) Now I just need to finalize the word order. Thanks 4laugh
