I want to know how you heard about Nightwish. From a friend? Saw an interesting looking CD and it turned out to be Nightwish?
I found out through a very good friend of mine. We are currently two of the only hardcore Nightwish fans I know of in both our neighbourhoods.

one day I was looking through media guide...and was going bonko then remembered this song that was kewl called nightwish but I didn't remember by who, so I look up Nightwish, found out Nightwish...listened to Nightwish but it didn't really sink in...then a few weeks later one of my best friend's 'showed' me Nightwish and I was hooked but I still never realised that who I was listening to before was this badn I'm addicted to now...it's been about 2 or 3 years....and I still have a longing in my soul for their music, even though I have access to a lot of it. I worship the ground under their feet and one day!....one day I will meet them..... but until such time, I am but a poor man, I have but my dreams, tread softly because 'they' tread on my dreams....

I heard about them from someone who had seen them play in Brasil. They played me their metal playlist, getting me to translate some songs, but what stuck in my head more than anything else they had was Nightwish. So as soon as i got home i hit my computer and did some downloading... I did buy cd's eventually however.

I saw Nemo on tv and I had to buy the song because it was in my mind all the time. I bought the single and I loved Planet Hell and White Night Fantasy, those were also on the cd. Then I started to buy CD's/download them 3nodding

When I get bored, I tend to search random words/ groups of words on WMP.. So, once upon a time, I was bored, and searched up 'End of all Hope'. It looked interesting, so me clicked it. 3nodding

I heard through a friend (username:gean123456) who let me listen on her laptop. Straightaway I went out and bought the Wishmaster album. Awesome whee

There's this crappy band that I used to like, and I read that Nightwish were similar (As if...). So I went out and bought Once, fell in love with it, and eventually got the other albums, which I fell into much deeper love with. Simple. wink
|

*nod* only 4 more years and I can get 'NW' tattooed to my left shoulder blade. *jumps up and down* I'm soo excited, I can't wait, it'll hurt cause I'm a big baby but it's waaaay worth it. Normally, if I get obsessed about something, it only lasts a few months, I've been addicted to Nightwish for about 2 or 3 years now. *hops up and down some more*
