Alright, so, there's an old story/RP that I have from some time ago that I am thinking of bringing back to life... but in this guild. Here's the link to the old RP, though I will be cleaning up the description and clarifying some more things and changing others. Also, you may read what has been posted so far of the manga at my DA if you are interested.
The basic idea of the RP is that there are nine kinds of magic and nine types of mages to go with them. Mages can use a single or mix of the magics. However, the existence of these mages is unknown to the general populous. It is paramount that no mage let slip his powers to an unknowing person for the consequences can be quite terrible. Also, the majority of mages fight in pairs. Mages left without a partner are either strong enough to defend themselves, good at hiding, weak enough to not have their magic obvious enough to be found, or dead/about to be murdered. Partnership between mages is made by having sex (this means that two mages can unintentionally become partners without meaning to) and partnerships can only be broken by mutual agreement or the death of one of the partners by an outside force (a mage cannot kill his partner or he himself would die).
The nine magic types are-- Pyromancy (Fire), Aeromancy (Air), Hydromancy (Water), Cryomancy (Ice), Geomancy (Earth), Homeomancy (Light/White Magic), Necromancy (Darkness/Death/Dark Magic), Chronomancy (Time), and Bibliomancy (Word/Book).

That sounds fun. The whole "mage" aspect is really appealing to me since I love the manga/anime Negima, so I'd love to join if you start this RP
