So what do guys think of this whole prom thing. I'm was born and went to school in England. And we don't do the prom not in my day. So i have no idea if its cool or not. But what I've seen from TV it looks pretty bad. Unless your a "cool". Which I'm not or never have been. Maybe we should have a morp instead.

It said that the Prom might be a hint to an event...
I really hope that they don't have one.
It screams e-popular or GTFO.
Woo hoo.
So far I missed one prom at my school, because you can go when your a
junior or senior.
I didn't go junior year and don't really plan on going this year.

The nearest i've had to one is a christmas fancy dress party for 6 form at age 17 and 18. I went as a fariy and redridding hood. But it was nothing like what you guys in the USA do. More silly and we're allowed to drink.

I figure it will be like the balls they used to run for New Year's and the like.
Course the most fun I had at one of those was setting up a Monty Python room for my friend and I to chat in (didn't think anyone else would be interested!) because you had to keep chatting to get the prizes. The next thing I knew people were running in the room and shouting ALBATROSS or singing about span and other things.

I think it sounds interesting.
I went to my schools Prom last year and had a tun of fun. It was really nice getting all dressed up and seeing all my friends looking all fancy. I will most likely be going to Prom this year as well.

i'm from scotland and we had a leavers ball which was basically 'prom'
but it was on the same day my best friend had a brain aneurism
that wasn't fun
uhhhh anyway gaia prom will be all cybering

It'll be making up for the Gaiaversary Ball if they have a prom, so I say why not. I thought we had prom dresses already (the Jenny dresses) , but more new clothes are always good.

I'm quite excited about the idea of prom! I enjoyed both my Jr and my Sr proms back in the day. I don't know about y'all, but at every prom at my school there was always one group of people who basically danced on anyone near them. Like a massive dance orgy. Yuck...
But I found as long as you ignore them, it's fun! I love dancing. ^-^

My high school prom wasn't that great...but that's because all the music they played was s**t(imo), and no one knows how to dance without looking like whores anymore.
Gaia prom has potential to be kinda cool, though.

We have "debs", from the word debutante. It's an old hangover from ye olden days when girls would "come out" into society and it just continued being called that.

Prom was so long ago for me xd
I guess it was kinda fun. I ended up going with a huge group of mixed friends, so aside from the crappy music selection and the nice clothes, it wasn't much different from what we usually did after school.
Prom on Gaia just seems weird.... you can't even dance confused

To me, I'm pretty neutral towards it.
I'm not much of an event kind of person..
though you got to take into consideration

I've been to a few of my school dances, so I can guarantee I won't want to go to the prom. The music sucks (imo), half the people seem to sneak in drugs, and the dancing....*shivers* that was just so wrong! I'm wondering what the teachers that were supervising were doing at that time O_o
Gaia's prom would probably end up being better though, 'cause Gaia's just cool like that cool

nah prom is fun if your cool or not.
its a big formal dance thats all.
my schools prom was this past weekend.
believe it or not i was prom king biggrin
