Dynasty warriors was the first series on the x-box and was fun at booth.
It had a wonderful display of characters and costumes and everything was unique and nice. Since it did come out with one of the earlier x-box games its graphics don't appear or look amazing like the later versions. However I have to admit the classic one was great and closer to realistic than DW went afterward.
In the game there were MANY charcters to choose from (more males than females but that was ok).
They all have the traditional chinese suits with slight now-a-days design to it and the charctesr all varied in personallity/story/and weapon/fighting styles.
You had the simular choose which kingdom you wanted to be on. Which there were three.
Difficulty: You get to choose! There were easy/ normal/hard. It was a rather easy game on the whole
Special features: You could choose bodyguards. This is something kept in all series except in this version you could choose a general as a body guard (oh the fun that was! ^_-) Sadly later on this feauture is taken out but you could still have bodyguards just regular people.
Co-op Mode: Well you could work against or with a parner which was always entertain (since they can get body guards too you can have an army of four generals XD)
Character story: Honestly it wasn't as indept as the other verisons came out to be but it was enough to let you know. This person was loyal. This person was strong. That person was married to ect.... That kind of thing.
Extra Charcters: You can unlock as you play the game. The specal ones were NuWa and FuZi who were never seen again in any of the other dynasty warriors to come. Sadly NuWa was fun while Fuzi was...ok...It was disappointing that they took her out.
Voices:
Sorry no english actors/actresses here! The voices were all in japanese. While some were wonderful others like Da Qiao when you used that move were just....annoying. Especially since it replayed over and over and over again! o_O Nuwa was cute and Lu Xun was nice. Sima Yi is wonderful then as well.
All in all. An old game but a fun one at that. It was closest to the histroical past unlike the other versions. But the others were just as good if not equal or better.
