He'd eventually reach his home, or rather the name he spoke of during his masquerade as Feign. One person aside from Eleck knew his true identity now...things were becoming oh so entertaining for him now. And soon enough, or so he liked to believe, this twisted world would be delivered in to it's salvation of nirvana amongst peace, as would it's people. And so he'd move his simple cherry oak door aside and slip in, locking the door from the top of the frame down and all around, shutting the iron door against the cherry oak should anyone try to storm in. Now it was back to the waiting game. He hated this game...

Draega had debated for a week how she would return the credit card that Kain had left that fateful night. For days his words had worked themselves over in her head while she went about her daily business on auto-pilot, unaware of the fact that time was passing by rather quickly around her. It wasn't until she was passing the River Kwai on her way home yesterday and Hannah had stopped her to ask if she'd seen her 'date' since that night that Draega remembered about the credit card that lay at the bottom of her purse. She had made up her mind that night to come first thing the next morning. Mostly because it was Saturday and her only day off that week.

She stood before the house with a bit of hesitation, wondering, still, if she was making the right choice. Her heart continued to tell her to go forward and to not look back, but Draega found she couldn't help doing so even as she approached the front door. She took a deep steadying breath, preparing herself for whatever lay ahead, whether for good or ill. As she did her eyes fell on the shadow marking of the crystal rose that marked her tie to Kain and a smile drifted upon her face as all doubt washed away. She raised her hand then and knocked loudly, but politely, upon his front door, hoping that whatever came, she would be able to handle it as gracefully as she had handled the rest of her life so far.

Hell of a week it'd been, especially with Micah's death. He'd had the damn boy's energy signature on file having obtained a slight blood sample for his third "pet" to work with in pinpointing his location. He'd kept this fact a secret from not only his "Master" but everyone else as well, and the fact that ping on his screen had stopped pinging was a bit more than simply disturbing. Worse yet, he had no idea who could've done it right under his nose without getting caught. It probably helped he didn't know Seth, eh?

Sitting on his throne in the living room he'd turn on the TV, though it wasn't a program that appeared but rather a radar feed in the center with several windows overlapping. He'd been spying of course, trying to drown out rats here and there...and make sure his previous date had been all right. He'd of loved to of needed to play Night in Shining Armor at some point, but it wasn't quite time for that...and then he'd finally here the knocking. He'd slowly rise from the gothic-victorian chair and make his way to the door, each lock seeming to unlock in his presence. He'd of course open the door for her, shutting off the TV before so, revealing himself in his usual "darker" attire: Black dress shoes, a pair of loose black slacks tied off with a black leather belt, a tight black net shirt over his tight chest and abbs, and finally his signature black trench coat draping off of his shoulders. His hair was still pulled back in the same loose pony tail, but given the different swords and guns all over the walls, this should be a different look than she'd expected. He'd grin seeing her, his crimson hues lighting up as she came in to view. His right forum would cross his chest as he moved out of the way for her to come in before issuing her a bow or courtesy. "Long time no see."

Draega blushed despite herself. Kain simply looked too perfect for the background of the world behind him. It made her all too aware of how ill-fitted she was in most settings...including her own home. Still Draega was quickly able to disperse the rosy tint that had come to her cheeks and respond to Kain with a warm and somewhat bashful smile. She entered slowly, feeling as if she she were stepping across a threshold somewhat greater than just the passage from outside to inside. She took a moment to look around his home, which he fit in to so well.

Then, at last, Draega turned back to Kain and held out his credit card to him with gentle but sure fingers. "I meant to return this earlier...but I...I had a lot on my mind." Her smile faded however as she thought of the other reason as to why she had been so busy as of late. "Also...I thought you should know just how frantic some of the more important members of HEC have gotten about confirming whether or not Micah is still alive." At this thought however she chuckled and smiled brightly. "But...I have faith in him. I know him...Micah is strong. And he promised to be careful. So I...I know that he's still alive." She said this with conviction, as she had spent the last week convincing herself of just this, oblivious to the truth of the matter. In her heart she believed that her friend was alive and well. She believed they all were.

Once she'd crossed in to his home and begun to make herself a bit more comfortable, he'd rise from his bow and smile. she may have taken quite longer than he'd expected, but the wait was well worth it. He'd look to the credit card as she spoke, then to her with a bit of s mischievous grin. "Well, I've been at a bit of a loss without it; it's the only one I use for public spending and I had a few tabs called in." Sadly that was true...nothing like knowing you could kill anyone with the wave of your hand but having to endure being hassled by a pizza boy to keep cover. He'd shudder at the the, then make his way in to the kitchen.

He'd begin to mix up a bit of a sweet drink...though once she began on the topic of Micah, he'd make it a little stronger. There'd be enough fruit to drown out the taste of the alcohol, but enough alcohol to make the news a bit easier on her. He'd again approach her, extending the drink to her in a martini glass before moving back to his throne and leaning upon it. "I'll save you some time and effort Ms. Draega. Hell, I'll even throw in an extra bit of kindness and stop stalling: Micah's dead. For the record before anything else can happen: It wasn't my doing. In fact, I have absolutely no idea who did it and it bothers the hell out of me." He'd slip in to his throne, gesturing to the leather couch for her to make herself a bit more comfortable as she took in the news. He'd take a drink of his concoction, though his had an ingredient hers lacked that would give his a bit more of a red tone, then set it down on the gothic table.

"It's a shame he died before I could meet him, and granted I'd of killed him myself earlier had you not come along, I am rather annoyed that someone's done it under my radar." He'd snatch his remote and turn on the TV, switching it over to surveillance. "I was able to track him thanks to a few samples I managed to snatch up from my demolition job, but his signature's gone." He'd then switch to another channel, one of which had a still frame of Draega's mug shot to the right and a map of their position on the left with a pinging signal at his address. "I built this system myself, and it goes off of the blood itself rather than energy." He'd shake his glass a bit before taking another sip, then switch the channel to view Eleck. "And I know he didn't do it...because he was safely tucked away. No one in H.E.C. did it." He'd sigh and stare at his drink, then finally shift his gaze over to her. "Sorry I had to be the one to tell you, but it's better than wondering."

Draega had stopped thinking the moment Kain had said that Micah was dead. At first, she simply thought he was joking. A cruel joke, but a joke none the less...then as time went on, as he sat her down and put a warm drink in her hands she began to think that this was a test. Surely he must be testing her convictions. Then he explained that he had been monitoring Micah and showed her how he knew of his death and everything within her collapsed. A new and painful emotion swept through Draega's system. Something she had only felt once before.

True she had experienced pain, and she had experienced sorrow, there had even been times when she had known despair. But now Draega felt her heart break, and everything came crashing down around her. Her face, however, grew as impassive as a slate...cold...and unfeeling. Without even a slight falter in her voice Draega was able to ask Kain a question. "You...know this for sure? How did he ... die?" even as she worded the question a single tear fell down her cheek, though she seemed not to notice. She thought of all her connections, all of her information, all that she had been able to gather lately, not just about HEC but the faction and their associates as well. Rage began to fill her and she had to set her cup down in order to keep from spilling it as her hands had begun to shake uncontrollably.

"No one in HEC...so he was betrayed....that is the only way. Had he not known who they were he would not have risked staying. He knew them....and they killed him." Rage began to fill her. Her mind began to whir at a rate that even she could hardly keep up with. Lists of names and addresses, faces swept past in her mind. Until finally she gasped, her impassive mask breaking apart and a name slipped past her lips. "Fredrick Bacilica....." she glared at her coffee cup and wiped away the tears from her eyes. "I...I thank you for telling me this Kain...and...if you don't mind I'd like to hire someone else to look into this for me. I believe it'd be too dangerous to look for Micah's killer myself. And there....there is a private investigator I know who favors the Faction." She said, her voice firm and resolute. She would not ask him if Micah's death should be looked into, or even if he wanted his death investigated, Draega didn't care...Micah had been her friend....she would learn who killed him no matter what.

"Don't tell a soul. I'm willing to bet that we're the only two, aside from our new target, that knows of Micah's death. The boy did a grand job of hiding himself...if he were to die, no one would know. Or at least he didn't think so. And that's still only my opinion..." He'd growl, showing his own negative emotions. He really didn't know what to do, and he wasn't quite sure springing the news on her like this, so soon before he could do any real investigation, was such a good idea. His worst nightmare had come to face: A situation had presented itself of which he had no control or influence over.

"I highly suggest we think of a plan before involving anyone else. Forgive me, but I don't trust anyone short of you at the moment. Keep in mind: The Faction and H.E.C. are all the same in my eyes. For all we know, it could of been this friend of yours that killed em'. I'd at least appreciate information on this Fredrick Bacilica." He'd look to her with a stone cold glare, warning her he wasn't in the mood to provide a shoulder to cry on and that she'd need to cooperate.

He'd soon rise and move to his wall of swords before pressing his hand to the wall which would cause a small white light to ignite between his palm and the wall, which would soon force the wood in half in to two oak doors that he'd pull open to reveal a katana resting on a shrine. He'd snatch it from the shrine and fasten the sword to his belt, then move to the table again. He'd rip the top off, revealing two very, very large guns resting in a secret compartment. He'd snatch them up and check the barrel of each, then holster them within his coat. He'd then finally shift to sit himself upon his throne once more with the katana sliding from it's clip a bit to rise in to the air next to him and lean upon his left shoulder. "Our eyes are on Eleck and Micah. Think of what you want to do, and do it quickly so I know what I need to do. No matter what I'll be drinking someone's blood by the end of this day, though." He'd then smirk while his crimson hues would seem to stare off in to nothing, in to space.

And there it was: The message from Tedd. From the forest...Kain knew the spot given Tedd's coordinates. He also knew...of this "Seth" and a few other Faction members as well. He'd grin for a moment, revealing his fangs in full form and beauty at long last, bit the grin would soon fade in to a scowl as he'd rise from his throne with a roar and look to Draega. "Seth...this 'Seth' creature has killed Micah! If you'll excuse me my sweet friend, I'm going to go collect upon his debt to me!" With that, Kain would seem to vanish, though in reality he'd just stopped pissing around when it came to hiding his powers. As Tedd could travel through the light to gain tremendous speed, so could Kain, though it'd slowly take a toll on his body, hence why he didn't use this light travel for extended amounts of time. And he'd keep Draega right there in the front of her mind, knowing she was there, waiting. Before he'd of left he'd of activated the manor's defenses, making sure no one got in, or out. In case of intangibility, there was a thermal guard about the manor to keep anyone from moving through anything. Everything else was simply blocked by a meter-thick lead wall surrounding the manor before another meter-thick wall of iron. This went for the roof and the floor as well.

He'd return some time later, removing the defenses from the manor and casually walking in to the door. Draega, who he'd feel miserable for holding captive, was going to love him for this though. He'd enter a room she'd yet to see, his Himmel Laboratory and place the vial containing Seth's blood in to a strange mechanism that seemed to have hundreds of vials. He'd then move out of the lab, switch on the TV and toon in to Channel Seth. This was oh so perfect. He'd then look to Draega with a cocky smirk and tap his foot. "You oh me. We can track him now...and just for you, I left a nice big wound in the b*****d." He'd then look to the TV and admit why he'd only half-assed his fight with Seth. "But I want you to be the one to kill him, Draega. I gift from me to you for holding you captive."

Draega had understood Kain's refusal to let anyone else in on the mystery of Micah's death. She could take the glare and the questions, and the conditions that he set for her as Freddrick Bacilica was one of the few people who Draega trusted as much as she did. So his initial reaction was not one that she objected too...she had long ago understood that crying did little other than release a small amount of pent up emotion. However as he stood and armed himself, Draega could do nothing but look on with a mixture of surprise, shock, and confusion. Though it quickly faded.

She was no stranger to violence. Though she herself had never struck anyone in her entire life. She had never needed to. She stared at him with a sort of grim conviction which again turned to surprise as Seth received a message from someone. Draega waited patiently, standing now, behind him, her expression now worried and filled with a sort of grim shock that comes from expecting more bad news to be given. And as Draega looked on Kain's canines began to grow into long fangs and he let our a roar of a name Draega had only heard in passing in the last few months. Before she could ask Kain anything, he was gone, and she found herself alone.

The silence became crushing and she found that she could no longer stand. The weight of all that had happened came crashing down upon her and she collapsed onto her knees there next to the couch Kain had sat down in. She must have spent at least five minutes there unable to think, unable to feel. She found that all rationality and sensibility had left her until at last she let out an anguished cry and buried her face in her hands letting all her grief, all her anger, and all of her frustration leave her in one sweep. After a bit she recovered herself, wiped her face clean and stood with shaky but new convictions. She turned then to the front door and took a deep breath, intending to leave in order to garner some sort of information about what was going on through her contacts. Only to find herself locked in. She tried to phase through the door and found she could not. Furious she slammed a fist against the door and ground out a frustrated howl before turning away and deciding that it would simply be best to wait for Kain to return.

And now...as she stood, attempting to take in what he had just told her she found herself shaking in a sort of fear that she could not describe. "...You...you want me to kill him?" she asked in a small and slightly shaking voice. She clutched her hands together underneath her chin in order to keep them from shaking any more than they already were. "I've never killed...anyone. I've never had to." She looked up at Kain with eyes filled with rage and sorrow but mostly confusion as she tried to return to her normally reasonable and sensible self and found it nearly impossible. "Did he...did he hurt you?" she asked instead, placing a gentle hand upon his arm. "He killed Micah...probably betrayed him...I should want him dead. Why don't I want him dead for that? Shouldn't that be enough?" At last her body stopped it's relentless shaking and Draega looked up at Kain once more with conviction, fury, and a love she couldn't explain. "Did he hurt you?" she asked more forcefully.

"Hurt me?" He'd chuckle a bit, though it wasn't out of humor but rather as an exhaust for his own emotions. "The boy can throw a punch in all aspects, but he can't hurt me." He'd rotate his neck for a long crack and shift his crimson hues to her, though those same crimson hues should seem a bit brighter to her. His head felt like it was splitting apart under the pressure of bloodlust though he'd never show this pain; this weakness.

"Yes, I want you to kill him, but only under the circumstance that YOU want to. If not, I'll be more than happy to finish our right." He'd look to the TV, waiting...waiting for Seth and Alex to have a bit of a private moment. He was going to make Seth suffer and force Seth to hate him...he just needed to strike at the right time. "I need to know, Draega, what you think of both Seth and Alex." His gaze would shift back to her, but like all those previous this one had lost it's warmth.

He'd think for a moment, allowing her to explain, answer, while he forced himself to listen and take in her words and fully process them while thinking of their safety. He'd rise from the throne once more and move to a pedestal he had sitting next to the TV with a large book on it. He'd flip through the pages until ending his search three quarters of the way in to the book and begin to run his fingers over the text of the two pages before him. He'd whisper their words, causing them to glow, and within a few moments shut the book. He'd move back to his throne, again making sure to take in an analyze each of Draega's words and wonder if she'd take notice of the fact this "house" was now moving. They were off the world's radar now, that was for sure.

"Jump, jump, jump and jump." Hed think in his head as he moved around the city. He stopped between jumps to check his mail. He had multiple addresses registered with people thought the city who needed hiss services. He never wanted to continuously be in the same place. It was easier to be watched that way. At the last stop near a coffee shop in downtown new states he received one from an employer that confused him. It was from kain, it only had a date on it and nothing else. Kain had never needed his services before unless it was for recon work or to quickly lift something.

He focused solely on his core and then imagined the top of the book shelf in Kains living room. He felt his body be torn in every direction; then he just crossed his legs and felt himself hit a hard surface. He looked around and noticed another person in the room, a woman. He decided not to interrupt the conversation. He sat quietly looking around. He had gotten some of his ebst weapons from these walls. He noticed an old throwing star Kain let him borrow for a tricky hunt once; it was able to take on his ability and go to any point he imagine; almost like a throwing star that could go through walls. He was becoming impatient, this was just plain rude. Invite a man with a busy schedule over and then cross appointments.

Draega felt in the house and in him but chose not to bring attention to either. Instead she let her arm and fractured expression fade away as she recalled what little stability she had left at this moment. She closed her eyes and thought for a moment and then looked back up at Kain with all the seriousness she had shown when they had had their very first encounter. Thoughts were swimming but they were calm and collected now, focused on figuring out just what he had asked her. At last she spoke, her voice cool and level, as if reciting a fact she already knew.

" I want Seth dead. With my own hands. You may not have agreed or even liked Micah's ideas but he was a good friend and I did promise him my life to his aide. I have always kept my promises." Fire crept into her eyes as she continued, as if finding conviction in something deep within herself. "As for Alex...I'm not sure. I have never talked to her face to face. And as far as I know she was someone dear to Micah. I can't say I trust her, but from what I've learned about her I can at least judge that she must be a decent person. Though I fail to see what Alex has to do with Seth...unless you know something I don't."

She stopped then, noticing the familiar feeling of someone's eyes upon her. She turned with careful and suspicious fluidity. Her movement slow as she was not sure quite how to handle the situation. However, she did not feel the need to run or sink through the floor as Kain would surely have noticed him long before she did and would have fought with him, possibly killed him, had he been an actually threat...that much she believed. So instead she studied this man with the careful dedication she reserved for every piece of new information that might be valuable to her. "And your guest is?" she asked simply, her tone a bit distant, and curious, though hinted underneath with edgy suspicion.

His ear twitched as he heard the name Seth. His lip curled and a small snarl escaped him. 'So hes still alive.
'
He smiled and jumped to the spot next to Kain; after all if Seth was alive he could still repay his dept. He leaned on the chair as he spoke. "Oh no one just an old buisness associate." He he jumped again to be right in front of her knelt down in a bow. "You can call me Riot." He jumped so that he was facing the other way. "Kain i do say you keep much better company now." He jumped back to his perch on the book shelf. "I always did say you needed to get out of the lab more though." He chuckled and then turned serious. He reached into his pocket and withdrew the letter flashing it in Kain's direction. "But i am here to ask why the hell you sent me a message. You know those mail boxes are for buisness only." He threw it making it jump right into Kain's lap. He eye'd a dagger on the wall, he had seen it somewhere before but he couldnt place where...

Oh the boy knew how to come at the most inconvenient times, but then again, it'd be hard to talk one on one with this boy if he wished to establish trust between himself and Draega. He was ecstatic she'd decided she wanted to kill Seth off herself and it was comforting even more so to hear she had no personal feeling for Alex. He'd of course taken in and analyzed each word that slipped through Draega's lips and done so the same for Riot, though to a different extent of course.

"Draega, this is Riot. He's an assassin, one that I can trust considering he knows that if he lets me down, I'll not only cripple him in both health and fortune, but he knows he'll never touch a toy of mine again." He'd speak with a deep melodic tone to his voice, keeping eye contact with Draega as he explained the boy's appearance. "And Riot, this is Draega. Should you at any point fail to make her feel comfortable I'll castrate you." He'd offer the boy a quaint smile, then let his fingers slide together as if he looked to be contemplating something.

"Draega, I promise you that the one to put Seth in his grave will be you. You'll need help from myself and Riot to pull it off, but his life will end with your hand and your face in his mind. As for Alex: The girl may have meant something to Micah, but the cold hard truth is that Micah's dead thanks to Alex's boyfriend. Seth took someone dear from us, so we're going to take someone dear from him." He'd look to Riot and arch a brow, then motion for him to take a seat before flipping the channels to Seth on a split screen display. The right side of the screen would show Seth, while the left side would show the sephiroth's position over Seth high, high in the sky, still spinning and reaming dormant for the time being, like a volcano waiting to erupt.

"Riot, I've a bit of a task for you: You're going to keep Draega safe and you're going to show her how to do as you do. As much as I like the idea of simply setting her to meet Seth and shaking his hand with a toxic layer over her hand to kill him off right then and there, I want this death to hit him hard. I don't want him to see it coming but expect it at the same time. If you can do this for me than I'll happily reward you with the latest weaponry I've designed, as well as a few new bits of armor."

"Draega: I want you to follow him. Do as he does. Live as he does. I don't doubt your abilities when it comes to guile and stealth, but without knowledge of the proper strikes and times to strike, you'll never bring down Seth but instead become his pawn. Also...I want you to permit me to help you develop your powers a bit more. But Ms. Draega, please keep in mind: If you agree to this "training" of sorts, then there's no going back. If you want out of the rabbit hole, then leave now and I'll not stop you." He'd offer her another warm smile, though his eyes were begging to shift. The left eye was now a violet orb with a black ring-like pupil and the right eye now a black orb with constantly spinning red red blade-like pupils, five total like a pentagram. He was seeing far more than they were, that was for sure. Impossible to notice, but worth noting was that the sephiroth in the sky, specifically the sephiroth depicting Chokmah, or Revelation, was spinning in perfect sync with Kain's right eye.

"Either way, I need both of you to give me all thoughts, feelings and answers right now. We're entering a new Three Kingdoms era, and my kingdom requires the best generals...I'd like to rely on the two of you to ensure my rise to power to end the pain of this world."

Draega turned her eyes upon Riot once more as Kain explained what he wanted of them both. Her mind immediately began to whir. She studied Riot, an assassin, something she was not perhaps simply because she had always been too soft for such things. But hatred burned in her, and something much colder that she couldn't explain. Deep down inside she was afraid, afraid that she was losing herself to something that she didn't know. And then she shut the feeling away, leaving behind only the cold and collected portion of herself that was needed for the situation.

She turned to Kain and studied him as well, she wondered why he thought she needed toxins to kill Seth. Still, she could not deny him. She nodded her agreement. "I understand...I will follow Riot's example. Do as he does to the extent that I am able. I have already promised to be your ally to best of myself....so...I will ask only one thing in return from you Kain." she stated in a calm and slightly blunt manner before allowing her emotions to resurface, her shaking hand reaching out to grab the hem of his shirt as she rose unsteady eyes to his. "Promise me that you will not allow me to forget or lose who I am.....that's all I want." she pleaded with him, her eyes begging him to understand that doing this made her afraid of losing the only thing she had left, her essence, the very thing that made her Draega Newfame.

Riot laughed psychotically. "Oh dearie im so sorry, but losing who you are. You just did. Killing is a whole new level int his little game we call life." Riot jumped up to the third shelf on the bookshelf and pulled a book on physiology he studied once when Kain had been prepping a weapon. He jumped again back in an blink of an eye hold the book. He opened the book to the page he was looking for. "Humans my dear are not animals solely for the fact that." He cleared his throat. "The Homo-Sapien is the only spices on the planet that will kill for reason other than hunger or competition." He closed his eyes and focused for a moment, when he opened them again they were blood red.

"See me i kill for money or for fun. Kain, well hes a mystery. Oh by the way you owe me a new Bow and Arrow, the bastards at the last jail i had to go into confiscated all my possessions when they "arrested" me. And sadly the holding cell the keep all U.H possessions in at the H.E.C is jump proof." He smiled and showed his fangs. "If you want me to teach you the ways off samurai young one, you must learn to defeat even yourself. Which means finding and becoming a new self." He finished that statement in a Chinese accent and took a bow. He began jumping wildly around the room every time he ended a jump he was in some kind of KungFu pose. "Oh did Kain tell you i am out of my ******** mind?"
