Kliken had abandon his book where he practiced his handwriting in the room with all the toys that he had been playing in. He was bored with sitting around, wanted to go back out front to sit and wait to see if Damaris came back. He had all the intentions of doing just that, went from where he was to the elevator and stepped inside when it came to the floor he was on. He looked at the mess of numbers, lifting his hands up to shake them free of the long sleeves he wore, and pressed the one for the ground floor. He waited patiently inside for a long moment before realizing that before it went down it would head up to one of the higher floors.
There was a 'ding' as the door opened up and he moved forward, peeking out to see where he was. It wasn't a floor he knew, not one that he had run around in and he found himself stepping out from the elevator and its doors closed behind him. He could sit out front later he decided as he walked down the hallway, the lab coat dragging along behind him. At least inside where everything was clean the coat wouldn't pick up anymore more dirt.
He looked back and forth before he closed his eyes, spun around in a circle, and then when he stopped he started in the direction that he was facing.
"Mmmm... wonder whats down this way." He murmured to himself as he walked along.

Reign sighed as she carried box after box into the new apartment. Cassi was cowering inside the mostly empty apartment after she'd scolded him for nearly tripping her several times. That had nearly set the boy into tears and she'd had to subdue her frustration and just convince the kid to stay inside. He'd been afraid that something was going to get him in there, but Reign managed to come up with something to calm him down.
The little boy was now peeking his head out to see if his mommy was close. He hadn't meant to make her mad...

Kliken was looking around, at all the doors that seemed to be the same, down the long hallway that seemed pretty similar to the rest of the halls in D-Corp. The leech paused in his tracks when he saw someone peeking out of one of the many rooms. He tilted his head to the side before he lifted up an arm to wave one of his long sleeves in greeting.
He was rather surprised, he'd never before seen someone that was smaller then he was, "H-Hello there." He greeted the other kid, giving him a hesitant smile.

Cassi jumped as a voice nearby spoke. He'd not seen the kid coming his way! The boy yelped in startlement and, once again, a familiar dampness spread on his shorts. The boy darted back into the apartment and across the living room to huddle in a corner. A scary thing had come after him!! His mommy had been wrong!

Kliken was standing there, eyes wide, and he was in all ways surprised by that reaction. He'd... actually scared someone? He seemed to be having a hard time wrapping his mind around that idea, how had he been able to scare someone? He took a step forward, then another, and another before he peeked inside, "Ummm... Hello?" He called inside.
He wondered if he should follow the other kid, he didn't want to scare him anymore... at the same time though he felt guilty. He didn't mean to scare him and especially didn't mean to scare him so much that he would run off as he had.
He looked back and forth in the door before walking into the room, "Hello!"

Cassi hoped and hoped that the monster would go away. It was a big scary brown monster! Maybe his mommy would be here soon to get the monster away! The boy peered out from behind his hands to see that, in fact, the "monster" was not going away and was actually coming closer! The boy yelped again, covering his face once more.
Reign paused as she spied someone lurking about their doorway. She hefted the box higher and trudged the short distance to the apartment. "Excuse me," she said, glancing at Kliken, then spying a pink blur that raced towards her at the sound of her voice.
"Mommy! Issa scary monster! Make go away!"
Reign put the box she was carrying down before Cassi clinging to her legs caused her to trip and drop it. "A monster?" The woman glanced at the leech boy. "That looks like a friend to me."
"Friend?"

Kliken's eyes went wide again, this time though instead of surprise it was tears that were filling them. He took a couple of steps back in haste, "I-I'm... sorry." He murmured, he had scared the other kid. He'd scared him so much that he wanted him to go away? The leech took a couple of steps back, his heart racing in his chest. He didn't want another person wanting him to go away.
He was about ready to bolt, to go back to hiding out in the toy room or sitting in front of D-Corp when he heard the words from the woman. He looked up at her and nodded his head rapidly, "Y-Yes... I-I'm not a monster... I-I just wanted to say hi. Didn't meant to... to scare him." He said in a rush, lifting the of the long sleeves of his lab coat to scrub at his eyes.

Now Reign had two upset kids on her hands. She knelt beside Cassi and gently disengaged the boy from her. "See? He's sad because you're sad." That was... simplifing matters a touch, but it seemed to work. Cassi clung to his mother's arm and peered at the other boy.
"You friend?" He glanced at his mother, who nodded. "'M Cassi."

Kliken gave a nod of his head, "Yes, friend." He said, looking over at Cassi seeming to be quite hopeful now. He had at least stopped being scared so did that mean that there was a chance of them being friends? That the boy wouldn't think him a monster? He gave the smaller boy the best smile he could conjure up, "My name is Kliken."

Cassi mustered a small smile back at the other boy. "Friends not scary. Safe." He released his tight grip on his mother to turn and look at the boy. "Mommy said friends nice. And fun."
Reign let out a soft sigh as the two seemed to start hitting it off somewhat. Well, at least they weren't crying anymore. That was forward progress. "I'm going to finish putting this boxes inside, Cassi, while you talk with your new friend, okay?"

Kliken watched the woman that Cassi was referring to as 'Mommy' for a long moment, feeling a moment of jealousy that he forced away. No, no there was no need for that. After all Damaris had told him that he would find a parent soon enough, "Y-Yes, friends are... are very nice." He said happily as he thought of the prospect of Cassi being his next friend, "I am trying to make some, I want lots of friends!"
Even if he couldn't have parents at this moment in time if he could make more friends like Damaris and Red then he would be fine he was sure. That way there were people out there who knew him, liked him, and he could talk to when the opportunity arose. He wouldn't have to be all alone anymore so long as he kept his courage up and continued to approach people.

Cassi grinned at Kliken. "I want lots, too! Like Kate. Many Kates." The boy felt a pang at the thought of his one and only friend. Kate was so much more, though. He missed her. Mommy had promised to see Kate again... He just hoped it would be soon.
"So... what we do?" Watching Reign unload boxes could only be fun for a little while. Even if those boxes were filled with pretty dresses and lots of other pretty things as well. One couldn't see the pretties when they were still in the boring boxes...

Kliken found himself wondering who Kate was, must be a really good friend to Cassi he decided before he looked around the apartment that they were standing in, there were lots of different boxes. This must mean that they were new to this place, "We could find you some clean cloths if you want." He suggested.
He'd scared poor Cassi so much when he'd first run across him and his pants appeared to be damp, he'd not meant to scare him so much and still felt a little guilty. As such he wanted to help him out where he could, "After that we could play, or explore, or anything." He didn't care what they did so long as it was fun and they did it together.

Cassi glanced down at his shorts. Oh yeah... He'd had accidents so often before that the dampness could often be forgotten. "Mommy packed clothes in one of the boxes..." He glanced around to find her and see which one, but Reign had already headed off to get more boxes. The boy frowned and looked around. Unfortunately, the boxes looked rather similar to one another...
The boy went to the nearest box and managed to figure out how to open it. It was odd, the top was all folded strangely and when you tugged at the middle part, the four sides just flew open. Strange. But this box didn't have his clothes in it...

"We can search then." The leech boy said helpfully, glancing at the boxes but didn't find any words written on them to tell what was contained within. It just meant that they would have to search until they found the right one, "Do you want to wear my lab coat until we find your cloths?" It was many sizes to big for the leech boy so it would even more so on Cassi but he knew it was kind to offer.
As he allowed Cassi to consider his offer he moved to the closest box, opening it up but found only dishes within instead of clothing. He gave a thoughtful sound before he moved onto the next one, "Its like... like hide and seek with cloths." He told Cassi with a smile.
