Lately nature was toying with Delmare, and she decided to remain hidden for many days at a time. The sun had been out much too often, so she refused to come out in daylight hours since she hated the warmth of the day. She had only chosen to roam around the beaches at night time, since it was then where she could stand without being seen or bothered. But for the first time in days, it was raining. The sky was dark, and Delmare's most favorite spring event was happening. Spring rain!

The rain was thick and heavy, and her heart was pounding with each drop that hit her body. Mm, and the smell! Everything was damp and wonderful, and that meant Delmare was going to have the strength to walk away from the water's edge! She wouldn't wander too far off, since dragging her anchor was always a challenge of strength. But it had been months since she tasted and felt the grass, and she really loved the feeling of it! The sand was much too different then plantlife, and she needed a change in environment.

Slowly but surely, Delmare made her way across the sand, since she was finally confident in her decision to trust in the rain. The rain had woken her up early that morning, and now she was glad to see that it would last all throughout the day and even into the night! What amazing circumstances.. many other Soquili would most likely be hiding, but she would be doing quite the opposite. With a grin, she dug and dragged until finally seeing the grass a few inches away. Her mood was surprisingly pleasant, and she hoped to keep it that way for as long as possible.

Rain... mud making water that fell from the sky when you certainly didn't need it. It helped things to grow, but who really needed green grass or new flowers, why couldn't the world be monotone and show its true colors? Andor hated the rain, he hated all weather, everything in the world made him miserable... But! There was one good thing that came with the rain, and that was that most of the other Soquili around were hiding. Nobody liked to be out and about in the rain and Andor liked when nobody was out and about so... this cheered his broken soul considerably. He loathed when others forced their company upon him when he obviously wanted to be alone. Then again, he couldn't expect much from the world... it was a sick, sick, place to live.

The droplets in the sky quickly made the stallion wet but he had not the heart to care. He slowly trudged through the woods, his hair dripping wet and the chains pinching his neck as he walked. The stallion had learned long ago to pay no mind to anything, including the chains that always jingled as he walked. He'd once tried to remove them and realized they were stuck, so as much as he tried to forget them, they reminded him daily of what he'd been through. How miserable the world really was, and how nobody could be trusted, things he'd never forget...

Seeing a clearing up ahead, Andor noticed some grass growing, bright green in color and delicious looking. He may have cared long ago but the joys of fresh grass no longer brought him happiness. He could have cared less whether he was eating dried, brown, mud than the soft grass beneath his feet. Normally he would have pulled himself away and found another direction to travel in but something inside him pulled him to the grass. So, taking a few steps forward, the stallion looked down at the grass and sighed. There was nothing special about the growing turf, no... he'd convinced himself that food was only necessary... but... if that was really the case... why was he drawn to it?

So close.. so incredibly close! Delmare squinted as she dragged the anchor out on one last pull, and she realized she couldn't do much now that she was standing on grass. The anchor was movable on the sand, but on grass she was stuck! She wasn't complaining, she had made it to her destination, and the water's edge was only a look away. But for some reason, she was conflicted. She could have sworn that she smelled a stallion's presence in the distance, and a part of her was already boiling about that fact. Why the hell would a stallion be out on a day like today? A low rumble started to emit from Delmare's throat, and she only snorted as she finished her thought. Either way, it was time for her to focus on the grass.

She slowly allowed for her neck to arch, to which she sniffed the grass in a quiet manner. How wonderful it smelled! Delmare then bit at a few pieces before raising her head in a sort glee. The satisfaction was wonderful, and she could only sigh after swallowing her large gulp. The smell of the stallion was still distracting her, but she continued to act not phased by the hunch in her back. She was enjoying her moment, and no idiot would ruin it for her!

For many minutes she continued to nibble on the grass, until finally feeling satisfied with her inner adventure. Her hooves felt the instant difference between the ground and the sand, and she suddenly felt very balanced and planted on the earth. It had been awhile since she felt that way, and a part of her felt very nervous. She usually shifted and moved with the waves and sand, and now? There was no movement and no life. It was chilling, since her body was completely static in time. Delmare was trying hard to ignore her inner anxiety, and she only closed her eyes while envision the water and realizing that it was all around her at this moment, and that she would be just fine on the earth.

Andor snorted at the grass, it wasn't like he had some urge to eat it... right? He stared down at the area in front of him, blue eyes emotionless and dull blue in color. The grass seemed to stare back at him as it moved with the rain, droplets falling on the blades causing them to bend with the sudden pressure. The wind blew gently, ruffling his drenched mane slightly, while his lion-like tail flicked behind him slowly. With that wind came the scent of something... the smell of something completely feminine... He hadn't realized he'd happened upon an area that already had an occupant. Just as he was about to turn to leave, and avoid the conversation before it started... he saw her...

Blue in color, her coat seemed to match the rain that was falling from the sky and her mane... it looked as if it had seaweed caught in it. Upon better inspection he realized he was fairly close to the ocean so the seaweed was actually possible... Had she been living in the ocean? Wasn't she a unicorn...? So many questions ran through the stallion's head that he didn't know how to process any of them quick enough. Suddenly, all the questions stopped as he stared down at her leg for there seemed to be a rope... He couldn't tell what was tied to her leg with that rope but it looked man made and heavy.

That thought caused screaming and whinying to erupt in Andor's head, he stepped backwards while the whites of his eyes showed and began panting heavily. It would have been an awkward scene for anyone nearby for it seemed like the stallion had gone crazy for no real reason! After several long seconds the stallion seemed to calm down, even though his body was now twitching involuntarily and he seemed to be breathing heavier. Something was wrong and yet... nothing had really changed.

Ah, so that's what smelled. Delmare shifted her eyes into the distance, and within seconds she saw the bright beast in front of her. How strange.. the stallion had a tail like hers, but his horn looked broken and dull. She was amused at the fact that he had chains around his neck, was he bounded to something as well? She herself understood such a fate, so what was it that this stallion carried? Her eyes continued to lurk underneath her sopping wet hair, but she was still watching him with a clear view. Her snout was warm with breath, probably because her anger was heating her up by the second. Her tail was swishing at a quicker rate, and she was gaining a usual urge to be violent. The ground beneath her was holding her back, and she realized that within seconds. Her ears went back in discomfort, and her teeth clenched against her soft ********. Now she couldn't harm him? Leaving the water was a horrible idea, and a part of her felt depressed that she could spill any blood. The mood was perfect, and it was as if nature was asking for her to release him of some blood. But instead, Delmare was stuck being stationary, but she had accepted that at this point.

Why was the stallion just standing there? Was he afraid? Maybe her intentions were too obvious to him? Delmare released yet another snort before lifting her head in a stoic manner. Her sisters would be laughing at her if they had seen her weak actions. "Staring isn't free. There is a price for everything." Her words shattered the silence, and she only grinned with an amused face. Was she really that frightening? Just thinking that way made her delighted! Hopefully she could hold on to the happiness she felt, even if just for a moment longer.

The stallion's body twitched slightly, droplets of rain dribbling down his golden coat. His blue eyes, often dull and emotionless were filled with fear but not of the mare. He often had flashbacks from certain things and it caused his body to quiver with fear. This was his own secret, he never told anyone in fear that it might make him seem weaker than he already was. Not needing anymore unexpected encounters with those taking pleasure in other's pain, the stallion kept mostly to himself. It was rare he'd even watch another so, on that rainy, spring night... he continued to stare at the mare in front of him... even after she spoke.

There was a long pause before the stallion could even register what the mare had said. Feeling his body tense in anger at the words, Andor smiled and slowly shook his head, glad that anger had taken over the fear. After a few more long seconds of silence, the stallion chuckled, he too breaking the silence between them. Snorting the stallion stared at the mare, eyes dull and lifeless, telling the world his life was no longer worth living. "Don't compliment yourself... I wasn't staring at you," Andor spoke softly but directly, wanting the mare to know she was better off not being arrogant with him.

He wanted to leave, to turn around and come back the way he'd come but the object tied to her leg made him stay. Did she go through the same thing he'd been through...? He couldn't spot any scars on her delicate looking body but he was still curious. Looking up at her face he noticed her horn, fully intact and delicate looking... it made him long for the days when he too had a horn. A long sigh escaped the stallion's muzzle as he looked to the ground, he couldn't even remember the days before...

Her response to him was as slow as his, and she soothed her breath in a deep manner before pondering some words. Despite the stallion's cocky words, he looked incredibly uncomfortable. That was amusing to Delmare, and she continued to grin with cat-like eyes while watching him. "Then what are you staring at? Your own pitiful reflection in the rain?" He was as depressing as he looked, and she loved that! A pitiful stallion? What a wonderful present for her eyes!

But, she needed to figure out some facts about this creature before making any personal accusations about him. "Tell me about your chains." she then said, in a demanding tone. She took a step forward before tearing at her back leg, which was stationary in its spot. Whatever, she ignored it as she always did. But his chains.. and his horn! What a weakling! Why the hell had he lost his horn? She was glad she didn't wear a mistake such as that, she would have been too horrified with herself. And her sisters would have slaughtered her.

Either way, Delmare was glad she had seen this stallion. It was a refreshing reminder of herself, and she was feeling some inner strength from her own mistakes and conquests. This stallion was the second stallion she had ever seen, the one before was another survivor in her eyes. She only had two because they were on the list of those she didn't kill. Call it laziness, or call it loneliness. Sometimes it just wasn't the right moment to ask for violence. "Your horn should grow back, if you are masculine enough."
PostPosted: Sat Apr 12, 2008 11:22 pm

Demanding wasn't she? Prissy little thing thought she owned the world and Andor didn't like it, she was one of the reasons he avoided conversation and confrontation. Hearing her words about his pitiful reflection made his heart drop to his hooves, he knew he was no longer anything to look at... but he hated to hear it regardless. Sighing, Andor turned his head and looked away from the mare, before whispering so softly it was barely heard over the rain, "I suppose you could say that..."

Her question about his chains and horns bothered him, he didn't tell strangers about his past... in fact... he didn't tell anybody. The stallion hated to venture back to that day in his mind, he hated to recall the events and yet... a lot of the time he had no choice. Keeping his head turned away, the stallion looked at the ground, rain dripping down off of his pathetic form. He didn't have to tell her, it was none of her business... why was he even standing there? Why hadn't he walked off by now? It would seem that deep down he desperately wanted to tell somebody, needed to speak the words himself, he needed to let go... Sadly, there was no way he was going to do that with some stranger, no... he wasn't going to reveal the thing that haunted him daily to somebody he didn't know.

So, he'd probably keep it locked away forever, since he rarely spoke to anybody and trusted no one.

"It's none of your business..." he said cooly, his head still turned away from the femme. It really was none of their business, for heaven's sake they didn't even know each other's name. They'd just met one night in the rain without a care in the world for the other's well being... it was just... curiosity. Hearing her last sentence made Andor snort in laughter, "Grow back...hah... it won't grow back..." If it was going to grow back it would have done so by now, he'd been wandering with it broken long enough. He hated others, giving him false hope and ideas, another reason he kept to himself.

...but he was curious...

So, finally looking at the dark blue mare, Andor narrowed his eyes and glared at her, "If you're so intent on learning of my past... why not explain your own. What's on your leg and how did it get there?" he snarled.

There was something hilarious about the situation at hand, and Delmare could only gleam at the stallion's newest words. Apparently he couldn't make up his mind, and she was just as interested in him and she was to he. They both carried something odd, a past maybe, or a look that brought chills to others. Either way, she was enjoying the thought of some spooky conversation, and there was no way that she was going to allow for this stallion to walk away. "It may be none of my business technically, but I will still find out. I rarely find interest in others, but I have found something interesting in you."

Ugh, his horn. What was he talking about, anyways? Was he too wimpy for it to come back? There was no reason to damper with that information, she could already see that he carried some weakness on him. But why did he also carry such a weight of doubt and sadness? If he had already given up on life, why was he still breathing? "Is your life that pitiful that you would like me to end it?" she then asked, with a soothing voice. It was odd of her to use such a voice, but it felt appropriate in the context. "Either way, I will allow you some answers to your questions."

With a light sigh, the mare turned to her leg, which suddenly ached from the attention. "I don't know if you would call mine a past." she then said, while bringing her neck back up to normal level. "Nor do I know how it got here. But I have been binded to the water since being alive, its a fate I must carry. I live for the water, just as my other sisters live for the spirits, the air, the fire.." Her mind especially blinked when she thought of her fire sister on such a day like today, and she let out a simple chuckle knowing that she would be pissed off at such a wet environment. But on the hottest of days, Delmare was cursing back at her!

"Sometimes we must take what we are given, and that is what my body does with the sea. Standing here, right here and right now, it feels so unnatural and frigid. I never venture away from the water, unless it rains like it is now." Her words still carried a lighter tone, since Delmare wasn't feeling particularly engulfed by any darkness or anger. Her body was too weak to act on destruction. Plus, her mind wasn't assisting her with any reason to attack, so she just stood quite pleasantly. In a strange sense, she was actually quite comfortable, since her words were some she had shared even to some randoms before. There was nothing wrong with some explanation, but she only picked and chose who deserved such information about her. She felt it necessary for this stallion."The water is calm today because of the rain, so I suppose I am feeling just as compliant." Her intent to kill was being washed away by each droplet of rain that smothered her body, but that was alright, wasn't it? The stallion was basically harmless, but if he chose to die she would be happy to assist him in his needs.

"It appears that you feel darkness, stallion. But you are not carrying any yourself. Why is that?" she then asked, while raising her turquoise eyes at him again. What a strange creature he was, she felt conflicted while even looking at his darkened eyes.

Why was he talking to this demanding mare? How had he managed to find her, of all Soquili, she was even more annoying than most of the others he'd met. He hated when others thought they owned the world, when they decided they were better than somebody else and treated them just that way. Not that it really mattered, he often forgot those he met hours later simply because he didn't care. Caring was for the naive who thought the world was something it really wasn't. He'd learned his lesson and he was very careful to make sure he didn't make the same mistakes again. It was about time he walked away, he thought to himself before the mare said she'd answer his questions. Golden ears flicked toward her and he blinked, she was actually going to tell him?

The horn comment bothered him so he decided to look down at the ground and refrain from commenting. He'd heard many stories of unicorns with broken horns, none of them talked about their horns growing back. Whether or not she was just trying to put silly ideas in his head, he didn't really know. What he did know was that his horn wasn't coming back, no matter how masculine he felt. Something that did make the stallion look at the mare again was the comment about ending his life. Was she something to be feared and should he have let her? He was confused and barely even knew what he was thinking about by that point.

Her explanation confused Andor, he didn't quite understand how a uni could live in the water. Swimming with that weight tied to her leg had to be next to impossible and he doubted she could breath under water for extended periods of time. At least, he knew he couldn't. So tilting his head, not having paid this much attention in a long time, he questioned, "You live in the water...?"

What she'd said about taking what you're given angered him, he was supposed to take being miserable and in pain daily? He didn't believe that was right, some things just weren't deserved... That thought made him sigh, for he deserved every bad thing that happened to him, he was just as lowly as the cowards that had hurt him. Andor still didn't understand, how could he be optimistic when his life was nearing its end? He wasn't going to last much longer wandering aimlessly day after day and he knew it.

"What do you know about darkness?" Andor snapped, "You said your life's just peachy..." He knew he was being rude and something deep down hurt, he wasn't sure what. The stallion felt guilty for being rude and he couldn't quite figure out what the feeling was. He'd pushed his feelings out of his mind for so long that he could no longer decipher what he wad feeling.

The stallion seemed incredibly confused by her words, and she could only laugh to herself at his measly comments. Was she really that horrible at socializing? Either way, she grinned while swishing her tail in annoyance. "Peachy.. that's funny." Her life was anything but peachy. This stallion really had no idea. Or maybe her life was peachy, since she didn't understand the words meaning. Either way, she didn't hate her life, so that was all that mattered. She just went with the flow.. and didn't think too much about anything. It was nice being self centered, and living for herself kept her going. "I don't go very deep in the water, I just stay on beaches. I can't stand the salt in my eyes anyhow. I've always wanted to feel pure water though.." but her anchor kept her binded to one spot, and that drove her crazy. Oh well.

"You didn't answer my questions again." she then commented, while rolling her eyes in disgust. "Why is it that I am bothering you so much? I am being unusually nice today, but oh well. I shan't be wasting it on you I suppose." Pfft, this stallion wasn't very grateful, was he? Delmare only arched her neck to the side while glancing at some of the other lifeless parts of the landscape. Why was she always stuck in these awful situations? Her mind was still a bit dizzy at the feeling of the sturdy ground, but she was glad to hold out if just a little longer. Maybe she could continued to learn more about this strange soul in front of her.

"There is nothing complicated about understanding darkness. If you think about it, darkness can easily overcome someone. But I don't prefer that sort of lifestyle at all, since I like picking and choosing. I need to be in the mood to be engulfed with darkness." Maybe she was rather cocky, but she and her sisters were all very similar in that sense. One of their siblings was constantly filled with darkness, but that was her ordeal, not theirs to worry about. Delmare then grunted a bit as she noticed the patch of mud she was standing in, and she shifted her footing while then placing her eyes back on the stallion. Maybe the stallion was a complainer, and that's why he was so disgruntled with the image and understanding of her? Was she that much better then him? It didn't seem as if he was covered in darkness himself, but maybe he was. It wasn't her place to understand, anyhow.
PostPosted: Tue Apr 15, 2008 10:41 am

He didn't reply to her comment about the salt, in fact he suddenly turned quiet. The mare confused him, she liked to roam about the beaches day and night, he couldn't even remember the last time he'd seen one. Often when he found someone faced with problems he had to think over his own life, was it really as bad as he made it out to be? His head lowered to the ground and he stared at the grass in front of his nose, blue eyes lost, confused, and far away. Something was felt for the mare, as rude and demanding as she was, but Andor couldn't pick the emotion out of the others it was jumbled in and he didn't dare try. The rain falling from the sky had a relaxing sound and smell, it gave the stallion a bit of courage as he stood there lifelessly.

The mare obviously wanted to know about his past, although it was really none of her business, he felt he was now obliged to tell her. One didn't answer your question and not get anything back. Besides, Andor was determined not to be too much like the rest of the world, and he certainly didn't want a title of lying scum. His head ached dully as he tried to block out memories that kept coming back, he didn't have to tell her everything, did he?

Andor watched himself following a mare through the forest and into a clearing, smiling as if everything in the world was wonderful. He remembered after entering the clearing, something didn't smell right... and that's when the trouble started. Yelling, screaming, horses cries and many noises he couldn't quite explain erupted, he'd tried to run but he ran right into their trap... into their ropes...

He cursed softly and looked away once again, his mane soaked and falling over the front of his face, revealing a long scar along his cheek and under his eye. After several long seconds of standing in silence, the stallion finally spoke. "I was caught... by two-leggers..." he whispered more to himself than the mare, the sound of his voice barely above the sound of the rain, "I followed her... I trusted her..."

He remembered being dragged back to the two-leggers' teepee, along with some other animals he'd barely noticed. They'd placed him inside one of their teepees, tied him with ropes, chains, anything they could find to constrain him. He hadn't been a vicious or horrible unicorn, he'd been kind and good to his herd, but they seemed to think differently. There was no food, no water, just blackness and pain... pain that never seemed to end... Taking a deep breath, the stallion looked back at the mare, his face drained, his eyes dull and lifeless. "They broke my horn... left me in darkness... left me to die..." he said, blankly with no emotion what so ever. "I don't know how I got away..." he continued, "They'll find me again someday.." the last part was whispered.

The stallion longed to remember before that horrible day, had he once had family? He knew he'd had a herd and a happy life but there was more, he was missing the big picture. It was like all the happy memories were drained out of his life and cold, dark ones replaced them. Why was remembering so complicated? Why was it so hard...? Was there a reason any of this happened...?

Out of nowhere Andor recalled a question she'd asked him, why was she bothering him? Didn't she realize that everything bothered him? What nobody knew was that it was all a front to keep himself from harm... Sadly, Andor had been pushing others away for too long to remember, he no longer thought of anything as a front... he just liked to be alone... "Everyone bothers me," he replied simply and out of nowhere, once again not thinking of how that affected the conversation.

The stallion was both mentally and physically abused, and Delmare hushed herself as he spoke, not feeling the need or reason to mock him in any way. She really would be heartless and a monster if she did. Life was difficult.. she could admit such. Everyone had breaking points, and maybe she was lucky if she couldn't remember hers. All of her sisters carried the same mixtures of fates, but why was completely unknown. This stallion on the other hand, was forced to live everyday with a common memory. "You are strong then, for surviving such an incident and carrying on the best you could." The words came out as if they were aligned perfectly in her mind, and the stallion most definitely deserved it. Everyone carried strength, but sometimes it was impossible to see it for oneself. The stallion still lived, even if painfully. That was impressive, and Delmare only grinned as she nodded her head expectantly.

"Its not your fault if everyone bothers you." she then said, knowing all too well of that feeling. "Trust is impossible to regain, especially after reality has been shattered. But there are perks to life after horror.. you just have to find them and understand them for yourself." Hm.. she wasn't very acclaimed at giving advice, but she was trying nevertheless. Delmare sort of enjoyed the idea of helping the stallion out, since she did understand where his pain was coming from. He had shared his story, and she was still a bit surprised by that fact. He seemed so stubborn only moments ago, and now he had completely opened up what he feared. Many were much too afraid to do that sort of thing.

"Have you considered revenge?" she then said, with a newly formed twisted grin. The idea of revenge felt orgasmic in her mind, but she had never experienced such a possibility herself. "That might solve all of your problems, or at least mend the pain for a little." Well, if the stallion was into that sort of thing. But he said he carried darkness, so it was worth a shot to explain. If the stallion DID do such a thing, Delmare would most definitely respect him. She would have liked to watch such an experience first hand, and see the overcoming of the stallion's broken heart! How beautiful it could be firsthand..
PostPosted: Sun Apr 20, 2008 10:31 pm

"Strong...? Why don't you admit I'm pathetic?" the stallion snapped, his eyes intense, mixed with fear as well as anger. He soon closed them and looked away from Delmare, unsure of how to deal with this situation. Telling somebody he barely knew his past had proved difficult, he thought it would have lifted the weight off of his heart but it seemed to create new, stronger, emotions, causing his chest to bare further weight. Had telling her been the right thing to do? Was sitting here in the rain, trying to push dark thoughts out of his head what he was supposed to be doing? Did anything in his life even have purpose...?

"Trust... what an impossible thing... too bad I realized far too late that you can't trust anybody... not even your own emotions..." the stallion announced dully, keeping his eyes firmly closed as droplets of rain sparkled while rolling down his golden body. He didn't understand what she meant by perks after horror but he wasn't going to question it. Andor no longer believed in perks or even happiness, the stallion was convinced the world was a cold, dark, place, waiting to finish him off. That thought alone caused him to twist his ears and open his eyes, quickly surveying the area. Of course he found nothing but the mare... they were quite alone...

It was strange, he didn't fear the mare like he feared others, he didn't shrink away or stalk off after a few words spoken. Perhaps he was afraid to turn his back to her, or maybe he was waiting for curiosity to kill the cat... either way... he'd quickly found out... she was different.

Peering through saddened eyes, the stallion looked to the mare, unsure, confused, and feeling as if he was being suffocated by darkness. He couldn't quite explain his thoughts on revenge, in fact he couldn't explain much when it came to his emotions. It was actually a surprise that he understood the foul taste in his mouth and extreme dislike when he saw a two legger. Often he got angry and stalked them along the bushes before they disappeared with their own herds but he never understood the emotion. No, Andor never understood that he wanted to knock them to the ground and.... he just didn't get it. So, with a flick of his sticking, wet, mane he looked to the sky and sighed, "There's no problems to solve and the pain will never leave..." His voice was soft, distant almost, it was quite obvious he ached, in body, mind and soul.

Even though the stallion kept his words limited once again, Delmare was somewhat sympathetic, since she knew it was a hard subject for him to discuss so openly. After all, she was still a stranger. "If the problems you feel are as constant and consistent as you say, revenge is most definitely worth it because it creates a beautiful feeling, maybe one you have not felt before." Without even realizing it, the mare then took a few strides towards the stallion, even while dragging the horrendous anchor along with her. She wanted to get a better look at this creature, since he was so clearly overthrown with darkness. But why wasn't the darkness evil? What was holding him back from complete destruction? Delmare just couldn't understand it at all!

Emotions came and went for the mare, and although many feelings would linger in her body according to the water, she never completely understood what the lot of them meant. Depression for example, was something she just couldn't comprehend. "Do you not see potential in yourself?" she then asked, while staring firmly into the other's darkened eyes. "Or do you refuse to admit that potential even exists?" How was it possible for him to move on when the stallion refused to accept anything? "Trust isn't necessary in life anyways. Water, air, and blood are all we need." It was a blood that the stallion needed to recognize, and it was a blood that could open his eyes and change his life!

Delmare then tilted her head while watching the stallion's eyes move around the distance. Its not like he was looking for anyone else, he didn't seem like the type to care. "Do you fear anymore?" she then said, while dragging herself just a few steps closer to the beast. Her body was across from his now, and the two unicorns looked brilliant in display. "You are so very bright.." her last words escaped from her lips, and she realized how yellow the stallion was in comparison to the black in his eyes. Bright like the sun.. it was horrible! Even with the darkened day, he still radiated it with some kind of hidden purpose or meaning. "You carry brightness on you, and yet you find no brightness in your life.. maybe this is yet another sin you must accept on yourself. Or maybe it is a sign of some sort that even you can't control." She was a strange mare indeed, but Delmare always looked at every possibility.
