I want to play with our lovely rings, but to get our hands on them requires that we go into the battle- field, without their aid.
My question's how newbies ( new players ) can expect to take down monsters, without forming a clan. Is it really possible?
Also, here are a few chopsticks for fun:
Share your thoughts, ideas, scheming, and dreams of taking over the universe. You can trust us; we won't tell. ^.~

Everyone knows that the n00bz will twink their way through the BS, or at least will try. But what are the newbies and regular users expected to do?
Couldn't we learn together?
Perhaps there'll be an introductory quest, so Gaians won't be wandering around, without knowing what to do next.

But wouldn't they get a big kick out of watching us recklessly attack mailboxes and trees? You know that they would. xd wink

I'm with the "starter quest" idea. They may even turn out a store where you can buy basic stater rings before you enter the battle system.

Here's a slight tangent, to our conversation:
I have a right to be pouting because I went to the one convention, before they began handing out battle rings to their Gaian attendees.
It's a weak- leveled ring, but I'm a femme and want its sparkly goodness for myself. No- one can see it, but I'd know that it's there.
*desires to have a ring, with magical abilities* I'm not having a LotR moment, am I?

I snagged 3,000 gold but no ring, at the con' panel that I attended. And I really, really, really wanted to spin the wheel of Gaia godliness, but there was no booth to lose my financial stability to.
I'm a willing addict and need my fix, darn it! Offer me a chance to win DJ headphones, with the purchase of my CoCo plushie, and I'll be a happy Gaian.

The closest convention to me isn't till august, and I don't think Gaia hands out stuff there.

If Gaia's not going to be in attendance then no, I wouldn't imagine that gold cards would be distributed there. Con' roadtrips are nice and Gaian ones are even better, as long as you can get away, for a while.
Good luck, with making this dream become a reality. Save your money, believe, and it will happen someday.

The powers- that- be are discussing the idea, of distributing their wares outside of the Gaia store and convention tours, while I doubt that gold cards or the mystical wheel will ever be duplicated, for other events.
..sorry.
