"Get back here!" Brandi yelled at the little creature flying just above her head. The girl had been chasing the butterfly for about 10 minutes now, but she was still determined to catch it in her paws. With a scrunched nose and forehead, she followed the insect until it had flown into the woods. "Oh, darn it!" Both her fur and hair were caught on branches as Brandi tried to keep up. A large branch managed to snag her tail, which pulled her backwards, causing her to land on her behind. Crossing her arms immediately, she stared after the accursed butterfly and pouted. "Well, fine," she mumbled, quite upset. "Be that way then!" Turning around, the poor Regular tried tugging her tail free of the branch's grasp.

 Skipping along a random path, Raevyn begins humming to herself, looking for something to entertain herself with. When she comes to a cross in the path, she sees a flash of pink out of the corner of her eye and turns to see what it was. was that her little candy friend jumping off into the woods? excited, she bounds over to where she saw Brandi dissapear, only to have her plop out right in front of her. "Brandi Cotton Candy!" she squeals, and then bends over as she starts to laugh, holding her sides. "You silly girly! what did you do to your tail?"

With a pout, Brandi turns around to face the unexpected voice. "Rae!" she cries out with relief. Not only was it someone she recognized, but she happened to get along with this peculiar Nymphae. "It's not like I did this on purpose," she replied while pointing to the tangled mess, "but my tail is stuck." Again, she gave it a good tug, but it refused to budge. Sighing in defeat, she laid her hands in her lap before twisting to look at Raevyn once more. "I don't want to be stuck here for ever," she whined as a tiny tear suddenly dripped down her face.

Rae suddenly gets concerned for her little friend and immediately starts rattling on, as usual. "Oh no, Brandi Candy! Did someone do this to you? Does it hurt a lot? Is it pulling out your fur? How could someone be so cruel to sneak up and do this to an unsuspecting little candy girl! Hmph!" She plops down next to Brandi's tangled tail and begins to free it from the twigs and brambles, brushing the fur with her fingers to make sure her friend isn't stuck with a frizzy mess at the end of her tail. that wouldn't be attractive at all! not one bit!

Brandi shakes her head at Rae's words, not quite hearing what her friend was saying. As Rae set to work on untangling the mess, the Regular grabbed her tail and tugged again. Although it took quite a few tries, her tail was finally free. With a thud, Brandi landed on the forest floor, causing her to start giggling sarcastically. "All for a silly little butterfly," she muttered shaking her head. Propping her self up with both arms, she sat there and told Raevyn the story of how she got caught in the branch to begin with. Once she finished, she blushed and looked away, quite embarrassed.

Rae looks to Brandi intently as she tells her story, nodding her head and tapping the point of her chin. when the story is done, she thinks for a moment and then claps her hands. "Well, in that case there's only one thing left to do!" She stands up and brushes the dirt off her bottom and legs, then smiles down at her friend. "We've gotta go and catch that sneaky little butterfly that hurt my Brandi Cotton Candy and teach it a lesson!" she nods at that, pleased, and offers an hand to help the girl up. "Only this time, we'll be sneaky too!" she giggles.

With a slight frown, Brandi shakes her head while standing up. "I don't think that's going to work," she said shyly. "I'm not the best at being sneaky...being a klutz and all." Her pony tails swished along behind her as she spun around, preparing to walk back towards the clearing. "Unless," she smirked while pausing, "you think you can catch it? Maybe we could bet on it, Rae?" Her eyes grew wide as she clapped her hands together. "I bet you can't catch it without hurting it." Now she turned and awaited her friend's response, her lips molded into a silly grin.

Rae jumps up and down, laughing. “Oooh! A challenge! A challenge! All right, little miss girly girl! Your on!” she giggles and grabs her friends hand, pulling the girl along behind her as she sprints off, her tail twitching excitedly behind her. “And I know the perfect place, too!! There’s a butterfly garden not far from here. I love to run though there and watch them all flutter out of my way!” she giggles. “If we can’t catch a butterfly there, we’re just hopeless! And you’re going to love it, Brandi Candy! It’s just so pretty there!”

Brandi allows Raevyn to pull her along through as she giggles at her friend's excitement. "A butterfly garden?" she asks in a disbelieving tone. "Really? No way!" She stumbled slightly behind Rae and almost fell a couple of times. Luckily she didn't, especially since her friend had a good grip on her paw. Pushing her hair out of her face with her free paw, Brandi randomly stated, "I can't imagine a garden full of butterflies. It must be gorgeous!" Now her own excitement was almost too much as she rushed to keep up.

Rae suddenly turns onto a much smaller path, heedless of her friend stumbling behind her. She abruptly stops at the edge of a small clearing where rows and rows of strange looking flowers sway in the gentle breeze, It’s obvious from the way the multicolored plants are growing that someone put them there. Above them, dozens of butterflies flutter from flower to flower. “Isn’t it beautiful…” she sighs. Rae only pauses for a moment before she lets go of her friend and runs off down one of the rows, stirring up butterflies in her wake and laughing.

As the two come to the private garden, Brandi immediately smiles. "Wow, if only Leila could see this," she mumbles, thinking of one of her neighbors. "Her garden is amazing, but almost plain compared to this!" The moment Rae took off into the garden, Brandi started giggling and quickly hurried after her. The little flutters of butterfly wings all around her almost tickled. After a moment, she remembered why they came here in the first place. Suddenly she raised her paws up and began carefully reaching, hoping one would come close enough or land on her paw.

Rae giggles as she jumps about, trying to catch random butterflies in her paws. “This is one of Bluberri’s gardens. She’s always growing these weird plant things. Usually they’re really pretty, but sometimes she grows these nasty brown things and they get all sticky and slimy and then she starts asking me to help her pick them and I tell her no! Those things are nasty and gross! I don’t wanna touch them! And then she starts going on and on about how even ugly things can be good and blah blah blah.” she shakes her head. “I swear, sometimes she just goes on and on.” she giggles, oblivious to the fact that that is exactly what she is doing. “You catch a butterfly yet, Brandi Candy?”

As she stared at the many butterflies above her, Brandi scrunched up her nose, slightly annoyed. Although she was listening to Rae's explanation of the garden, she tuned her out for a few seconds to concentrate. Standing as still as she could manage, Brandi waited and willed them to land onto her outstretched paws. "I've got one!" she finally exclaimed, answering Raevyn's question immediately. Then suddenly another landed next to the first. "No, wait, two!" Even as she bounced around in excited, the butterflies stayed put as she ran to show Raevyn her lucky catch. When she stopped in front of her friend, she smiled and asked, "Aren't they so pretty?"

Rae peered into the regulars paws at the butterflies there, their wings shimmering in the sunlight. She suddenly perks up with an idea. “Watch this, Brandi Candy!” Rae places a paw over Brandi’s being careful not to hurt the butterflies. Concentrating on their paws, she begins muttering softly under her breath. Her palm begins to tingle slightly, spreading to the felt by Brandi also. After a few minutes, she lifts her paw and frees the butterflies. Instantly, the butterflies take off, but there’s something different about them. As their wings flutter, a dark, translucent cloud is left behind with small flashed of light in it, looking like the night sky. Rae giggles as she watches the butterflies, the little clouds lingering for a few moments before they disappear.

At first Brandi cocked her head, wondering what the strange tingle in her paws actually was. Even the little whispers she heard coming from Rae bewildered her. The moment the Nymphae lifted her paws, allowing the butterflies to flutter away, Brandi's eyes immediately widened and her jaw dropped a little. Shock was obviously written all over her face as she slowly rested her gaze on Rae's face. Looking deep into her eyes, Brandi had one main question on her mind. "How the heck did you do that, Rae?" There was a lot Brandi obviously didn't know about her friend.
