I've gotten kinda comfortable with headshots as I used to draw them, I can do one in around 20 minutes that I'm happy with, but it's just reproducing the same medicore stuff over and over so I tried to improve myself a little and came out with these: "Is there anything I'm doing glaringly wrong across both pictures?" is the main question I want an answer to, but regular crit is super-fantasti-cool too.

I like this newest one best because I have less of an impression that she has a snout/muzzle than many of the others X)
Judging from your above sketches, I'm guessing you don't work with any underlaying sketch to build up the anatomy first? I'd advise just paying attention to the skull/jaw bones a little more to try not to let the snout swell too much. X)

X) I have a really bad habit of NOT doing that a lot, especially when I'm working straight onto the pc. I do it with a lot of my full body sketches, but I need to stop using it so infrequently. crying Someone actually said the first couple of headshots look like drag queens. gonk

XDD yeah, getting the anatomy right, even in and especially in side views is a real key to making "pretty" people. It's all about symmetry and proportion for aesthetic beauty. Horse mouths a drag queen make, often enough. XD
