Don't worry, backing up is not a problem for me. Even then I shouldn't be that bad with it.

PostPosted: Sat Apr 12, 2008 5:15 am

I know large companies that don't need 5tb for backup on a single comp

I said point 5 TB, not 5..........and large companies dont need 5TB because they use there server storage for it all

Personally Id like a 500gig external back up drive so I could move the stuff from my spare 20gig (don't ask ripped form old comp) to it and use the spare as a source for photoshop and only photoshop stuff (has quite a collection of extras). But I really want to double my ram but mines expensive *damns the serve model*

I don't need A ******** terabit of space. 500Gb is good enough for me. I don't use photoshop all that much or any other image creator/manipulator program so therefore I don't need storage for it. I don't own too much music so therefore there is no need for a mass storage space for that. Plus the games I'll be installing won't even make a dent of a scratch in the hard drive space. SO ******** off with the terabit s**t chain. A ******** external drive won't help much and another internal I don't need. I got a large enough hard drive with only 1 that way I won't need another one until WAY down the road.

Dev dearie please calm down a bit you posted this were commenting and chattering about it on our own sweety.

All chain did was complement you on a half terabyte of space witch is cool since most computers on the market only have about half of that unless is custom or built to your specifications. Beyond that he suggested a good rule of thumb to have a back up (main or external) in case the main farks up witch Ive dealt with and it was beyond rotten.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 13, 2008 7:21 am

Yo chill it was just two friendly suggestions and a small misunderstanding
I strongly recomend that you buy a small external hd because unexpected s**t happens and your main can chrash or the os ******** up and you have to restore it and any info you had is lost. That same thing happened to me and thank whom ever that I had and external. Now wether you chose to take our advice is your choice. However, your change in attitude is unwanted and you know I can sympathize with you. So either talk about your problems in a nice manner or stow it and be your normal cool self. This is the end of this conversation, just until it is resolved, so no one gets any further upset

I admit I jumped down your throats a bit however I am well aware of occurrences that can happen. As I have stated I'm well supplied in backing up my computer with RWs and flash drives. I have well thought out my purchase of this computer I supplied myself before hand and feel that I have enough items without purchasing an external hard drive. As for my attitude I was having a bad moment so I kind of had to take it out on something, unlucky for Chain (mostly) and Halo (not so much) who got dragged into the chaos and flames. I'm sorry guys. Also I'm updating the case picture, I didn't realize I didn't actually post it.
