 Xena's home town.
It holds many memories, both good and bad.
From her innocent childhood, to her very first bloodshed in a war resulting in her brother's death.
But since then she has been forgiven, and the town is always open with hospitable arms to visitors.
And cool music plays when you enter.

*stands up an pulls some grass outta my helmet. looks back teh make sure meg an eli are followin me* um...uh.... ninja huzzah! we made it! teh great village of wherever we are! 3nodding *hears some singin an looks over to teh village gates* after yuu meg 3nodding *puts arms out*

That's right. Ladies first.
*Meg links her arm with Joxer, and the hairy man while they walk into the village. Cool music plays as random women twirl straw figures. But it's ruined as Meg starts singing 99 bottles of beer on the wall. Once she got to 69 she forgot what she was talking about, except a lot of bottles of beer.*
Hey! Speaking of which!
*Meg spots a bar which just so happened to be Cyrene's tavern. Joxer suggested the three of them take a load off there. They agreed and stepped inside.*

Gabrielle walked beside Argo as Xena and her daughter rode atop. With her head full of sweat running down her face, she thought, Honestly, I need to get back in the habit of walking. I'm taking Argo for granted. After a few minutes or so, she distracted herself with a story about ancient gods from Egypt.
"....and so Seth was jealous of Osiris because he wanted to be the ruler of the earth. He grew angrier and angrier until one day he killed Osiris in a violent rage. It was said even the winds were affected with storms of angry rains. Osiris went down into the underworld to be ruler of the dead and Seth remained on earth and became king, ruler of the living. However, Osiris and Isis had one son called Horus. Horus, trained from the day since he was born, was destined to rule the lands. And with that being foretold, Horus, son of Osiris, battled against Seth and regained the throne. And to this day, it's said Horus is the king of the earth while his father Osiris still remains ruler of the underworld..."

Arnicus loosely followed his new friend and her humans toward the town of Amphipolis. The area smelled somewhat familiar, but he wasn't sure why. As he sniffed along everything he had time to sniff, he tried to think of what the scent reminded him of, and when Gabrielle's voice got to far away, he'd run to catch up with them. Gabrielle talked a lot, which was good because it helped him keep track of her, but she always seemed to be talking about some god or another, and he wished she would learn some stories about dogs or horses or apples or something that didn't make his skin crawl.

Xena couldn't help but sigh happily when they entered her homeland. By the Gods, it felt like so long since she'd been back. She let Argo go at her own leisurely pace, for really there was no big rush at that moment. She couldn't wait to see her mother, and she knew Cyrene would be happy to see her grand daughter again. Too bad she was never able to meet her grand son she thought with a frown, shaking her head softly - those were the kinds of thoughts that caused her to leave her content mood, so she instead listened to Gabrielle's stories, smiling softly - neither one of them were big fans of the Gods, but never the less, it always made Xena happy to hear the way her companion could tell a story...something she herself lacked the talent to do. "I bet my mother is in her tavern, do you want to check that our first? We could even get a room with a nice warm bath, whattya think Gabrielle?" she questioned casually as they walked past all the ladies in the fields doing some work *where music always plays*

*walks up to a stool an trys teh sit down all manly like with my arm on teh bar an a distant look in my eye but my arm misses teh bar an i bump inteh a lady carryin drinks to a table* aah! eek um....HOW DARE YUU ATTACK THIS MAIDEN YUU SCOUNDREL!? scream *looks at random guy an punches him but hurts my hand an looks back at teh lady* ...myeh...wait...cyrene? eek

Eve entered the tavern with her mother and gabrielle. SHe was excited to see her grandmother. Eve wondered if she would even remember her. She was just so happy tha she was out of callistos cave, and now with her mom, going to see her grandmother.

Arnicus wagged his tail happily as they got to the tavern. He smelled all kinds of yummy foods! I'm hungry! he told Gabrielle, but of course, all she heard was "Arf! Arf-arf!" He licked her hand to emphasize his point.

Gabrielle paused her story, "That sounds wonderful." No hard ground, no annoying chirping animals in the morning, no morning sun, yes, a night at the inn sounded more then wonderful for the bard. Getting excited, she quickened her pace.
"We'll get you some food puppy." She reassured the animal.

Pink sparkles appeared beside the traveling bard and warrior and were soon followed by the appearance of the Goddess of Love. She frowned when she saw the horse and the dog, but didn't let the animals dampen her mood.
"And how are my favorite mortals doing today?" she asked with a grin.

Arnicus stood protectively next to Gabrielle and growled at the newly appeared goddess. She actually seemed like a nice one, but he still growled at her on principal.
