Hundreds upon thousands of books rest in the Library, ranging from history books, to spell books, to scrolls, to secret documents. The library is a total of three level, connected by wrough-iron stair cases and steam-powered lifts to speed up the process of hauling heavy leather-bound paper up and down. The Library is cillindrical, and the deepest part of the library is closed to all but the faculty. There are massive dark wooden desks and padded chairs throughout the public levels, and bright lanterns hang from gilt chains from the ceilings, providing light where ever one might wander.
