The blonde male had been feeling ill all night, and he found, with dismay, that the waves of nausea did not subside come morning and he was forced to miss the key point of every weekday of his life. Unlike most teenagers, Tamaki rather liked going to school and failed to relish the opportunity to miss a day and sit around at home doing nothing. One of his maids touched upon his forehead and found his temperature elevated far past normal. After informing his father of his son’s unfortunate condition, Tamaki was left in bed to eat soup and drink as much juice as his body would allow. Sapphire blue eyes fluttered open momentarily, the ceiling failing to come into proper focus even after several bats of his eye. Groaning, he lifted an arm and cast it across his warmed forehead, wiping some of the moisture from his brow. He felt sticky and uncomfortably hot under all the blankets, his white shirt clinging to his skin and his sleep pants restricting the proper movement of his legs as he attempted to find the comforter from his injured body. ”Oooh,” he groaned gently, rolling onto his side. His fair cheeks were flushed, and his platinum blond hair was sticking to his forehead and face rather unattractively.
Raising a weak hand, he brushed it away with slender fingers, and attempted to take a deep calming breath. How he wished he’d been able to go to school that day! He hated being at home alone, especially on bed rest. He had a healthy immune system and the French boy was hardly ever sick; when he was ill, his condition was unusually bad. He could remember very clearly every time he had been sick as a child. Each and every time out of the whole six times, he’d almost been rushed to the hospital due to over-heating. Almost. His mother never would have been able to properly afford that kind of care for him, so she sat at his bedside every so often and attempted to bring his temperature down while he clung to his life with all his might. Tamaki, of course, didn’t resent her for this at all but rather looked back on these times almost affectionately.
”Mirelle?” he called meekly, his usually boisterous voice a bit flimsy. When the maid failed to respond or turn up in the doorway, he thought it best if he fetched the drink he desired desperately himself. He felt dehydrated, an unquenchable thirst in his scratchy throat. As he pushed himself into a sitting position, he listened to the creak of his bones and attempted to ignore the wave of dizziness that overcame him. He picked up the sleek cellular device sitting on his bedside table, and was disappointed at what he saw. School surely would have let out by now, and yet none of his friends had called or texted him to ask his whereabouts. He told himself they were busy and attempted to put this out of his mind.

((.... I feel a powerful, overwhelming urge to somehow interfere with this.... SO I SHALL. MUAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA~~))
Tamaki was, indeed, correct: most of his friends were busy as usual at the host club, and his absence did not go unnoticed, especially by his fangirls. Alcy,of course, was mildly curious/frantically worried, but unfortunately, her cell phone's battery had died during class. So she couldn't send a "casual" fretful inquiry text until she got home, where a power outlet gave her cell phone life.
wtf, Takkun? Where the crap were you today? D: The club had a distinct lack of shiny things. It felt.... wrong.

The French boy had managed to stumble from his beside and lean himself on door frame when he heard the shrill cry of the ringtone he'd set on his cellphone specifically for a certain female. 'She got her head in the clouds / Sharada, Sharada / Don't know when she'll come down~!' To Tamaki the song didn't have any particular meaning other than he thought that it was cute and rather up-beat, so it reminded him of his friend and he'd give it specially to her. He was so frantic and in such a hurry to get back to his bedside table where he'd set his phone down in disappointment that he stumbled over his own feet and was sent plunging to the floor in a heap. His hand managed to crawl, however, up the leg of the table and grab the device.
Lying on his back, he held the phone above his head with both hands, flipping it open and squinting his sapphire eyes at the little screen. "Alcy-chan was worried about me," he murmured to himself, a weird lopsided smile settling on his face. He continued to lie on the floor that way, the phone at his side, until he mustered up enough common sense to lift it and type in a response with shaky fingers.
[I wasn't feeling well this morning so I was forced to stay home. : D Were you worried about me? Did Mama ask where I was? Is everything at the clu-]
The message was cut off due to the long length and he was forced to continue on a second.
[club okay? Did the girls ask about me? Was Reina there? I promised her a serenade today. : ( I choose the most awful time to get sick!]
He let his arms droop back to his sides for a moment, clenching and unclenching his fingers. He was a slow texter and even the shortest of messages made his delicate piano fingers cramp a little. Just as Tamaki pushed himself up, he glanced towards the window in time to see a lovely white bird perch there for several long seconds before taking flight again. "Oh! That must have been a good sign," he decided in excitement, his eyes shimmering. He fully intended on charging right out the door and up to the school, but his maid located him when he reached the front door and dragged him to the nearest couch to sit.
"Tamaki-san! You can't go out- you still have a temperature! And you're not decent!" she scolded, looking down at him with a furrowed brow. She was fairly young and of French upbringing, her long auburn locks pulled from her face into two cascading ponytails.
The blond looked down at himself then, as if he'd just noticed that he was bare from the waist up, and even then was only wearing his boxers and a pair of baggy sleep pants. Its a good thing he didn't go out as he was. His eyes followed Mirelle as she hurried from the room to retrieve the drink he'd wanted, but his expression had remained the same. He slid back on the couch and allowed himself to finally lean back and close his eyes, feeling the sweat that dotted his brow and the wave of dizziness slowly begin to subside. People such as himself shouldn't go around getting sick anyhow!

Somewhere, in a modest apartment, underneath a perpetual kotatsu, Alcy froze as she read the first part of the message: her eyes widened, before her fingers moved on their own:
I'M COMING OVER
And at the next moment, she somehow found herself on a bus speeding toward the bus stop nearest the general area where she understood his house to be. Whilst riding said bus, she decided to take a moment to read the part of the message past "I wasn't feeling well this morning," which Alcy's brain had translated into "I'm deathly ill", and took time to respond to his other questions, ignoring the one about her being worried: she was too embarrassed to admit it outright, and she figured that it was probably obvious, anyways.
Ohtori already knew for some reason, but he did seem to be plotting something rather sinister.... you might wanna be worried. And the girls were a real problem today, we had to outsource them to the rest of the hosts, it was kind of a mess today. ^^; They were pretty upset, but they got over it once the normal activities started. I dunno if Reina was there, though....
Alcy probably would have ranted on longer in her essay-like text had she not realized that they were almost to the stop she needed to get off on, so she hurriedly sent off the text and moved to stand impatiently next to the door, bounding out of it as soon as they opened. "DON'T WORRY, TAKKUN! I'M COMING!" she cried as she scrambled down the street, past several rather grand estates, in the general direction of where she thought Suoh Mansion # 2 was.

Tamaki's phone vibrated twice, almost toppling from the place he'd set it on his slender knee. He caught it in time, however, and brought it to his face. "She's coming over?" he repeated the words of the message out loud, sitting there blankly for several long moments before the full meaning of the words finally registered. Alcy-chan was coming to visit him! He was so excited he barely managed to type out his response legibly.
[Yaaay1 i feel bdtter alredy <3]
He hit send before he realized that he'd made more than a few spelling mistakes in that message. Shaking his head, he told himself that she'd either understand what he meant or think that he was so sick that he was loosing his connection with reality. He sat there for several long moments, just looking around and trying to get his bearings, when he realized that he was lounging on the couch and dressed rather inappropriately for a visit from a member of the gentler sex.
He fairly leaped from the couch at the thought and attempted to propel himself up the stairs pell mell, his arms pumping at his side, and successfully reached the hallway leading to his room before fainting out of pure over-exertion. So the blond laid on the floor, face down with his arms extended in front of him and his cellphone lying several yards away until the maid managed to get some assistance in carrying him to his bed. Mirelle pulled his sheets up to his chin and dusted the hair from his eyes before placing the glass of water on the table beside him with a shake of her head.

Alcy slowed to a stop as she felt her cell phone buzz, taking a breather as she pulled it out and read his message, smiling a bit. "Aww, hehe, poor thing's too sick to type with proper spelling..." She took a moment as she returned her cell phone to her pocket to glance downward, and froze: she had run out of the house in a mismatched tank top and a pair of patchwork plaid shorts. "... Ah, whatever, I'm sure it'll be warm inside," she mused to herself as she broke into an even more purposeful run, sharply skidding around a corner as she caught sight of the Suoh nameplate in front of one of the gates. She nearly didn't stop in time to not slam into the front door, her forehead a mere half inch away from potential pain as she tottered forward, before sighing with relief and knocking obnoxiously on the door.

A loud racket sounded from the front of the Suoh main house, and Tamaki's father just so happened to be close enough to the main foyer to hear it. Not that it was difficult to hear. He rose from his chair and removed his reading spectacles-which he hated because he thought the deterred from his look- and walked into the foyer to see the doorman opening the wide doors and greeting an interesting young teenager in mismatched clothing.
"Yes?" said the doorman in an odd nasally tone, his brow furrowed with disapproval. He had come to the conclusion by looking at her that she's wandered off the street and come looking for something, just as poor children do on television. Or that she was some sort of strange saleswoman, looking to sell make-up. "I'm sure we don't have anything you need here." The doorman went to shut the door in her face but was stopped by the other man.
Stepping into the wide doorway and ushering her inside, Tamaki's father looked at her curiously as the door was closed behind them. "May I help you, mademoiselle?" asked the man with a charming smile.

Alcy was about to punch the door open and unleash a torrent of unspeakable violence upon the doorman when she was interrupted by a much kinder man greeting her and ushering her inside. She peeked around cautiously as she entered, before glancing up shyly at him. Heeeh.... he looks kinda like Takkun... She awkwardly scratched at the back of her neck. "Anou~, I-I heard that Takkun- ah, that is, Tamaki-kun was sick, so I was just stopping by to see if he was alright.... ah-" She glanced down and pulled out her cell phone, holding it up for some reason. "I sent him a text to let him know I was coming, so he should be expecting me.... right?"

Furrowing his brow and bringing a hand up to scratch his chin, Tamaki's father looked bemused. "Tamaki's sick? How terrible," he said finally. Yuzuru looked slightly worried by the notion that his son was ill and he'd known nothing about it, but cast it aside with a shake of his head. There was a woman in his presence after all, and she was lost and needed his assistance! He took her hand in his own in a way that was shockingly similar to a certain blonde's usual antics and told her in a soothing tone, "You seem to have stumbled into the wrong house, my dear." The superintendent smiled at her kindly, letting her hand go and instead ushering her towards the living area.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Suoh Yuzuka, Tamaki's father. Allow one of my maid's to get you a drink- you look thirsty!" This was the first time that he knew of that his son had a friend come calling on him, especially a girl. He wondered if this was, perhaps, some sort of love-interest and had every intention of getting to know her a bit before releasing her. The maid nearest her shoved a cup of tea in her hand before she could protest, while Tamaki's father looked on with a smile. "And what might I ask is your name?"

"Eh?" Alcy's brain functions froze up at the revelation that she was in the wrong house, leaving her to be lead to another room and served tea, which she took a sip of before coming back to her senses, leaving a bitter aftertaste in her mouth and a weird look of "this isn't mountain dew!" on her face. "A-ah, um, I-I'm...." She paused for a second as she managed to put two and two together:
THIS GUY'S THE SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT. CRAP.
Alcy set aside her cup, sitting up stiffly as she tried to retain proper posture, which was difficult for her normally slumping-demeanor. "M-my name is Alcnolien McRandom! I am in class 3-A, I have attended Ouran Acadamy for 2 1/2 years, my dog, Yuki, has never ever been snuck into school by me- w-wait." She slumped slightly as yet another part of what he had said sunk into her brain. ".... I'm at the wrong... house?" Her head tilted to the side slightly as a long, silent pause followed.
"..... GYAAAAAH!" she clutched her head with both hands as she fell sideways on the couch, moaning in despair. "Mou~, how does this type of thing keep happening to me...." she sobbed.

The man was startled by her reaction and watched her with his eyes sparkling with amusement, sipping his own tea. She he heard her pathetic sob, he was moved. The Superintendent stood and moved over to the other couch, righting the girl he now knew was Alcy and patted her on the shoulder. "Are you alright?" he smiled at her warmly in a way that would have been flirtatious coming from someone who was not kin to the boy who displayed such a smile constantly every single day.
"In any case, its very nice to meet you Alcy," he told her. Trying to sound casual, he continued, sipping his tea between sentences. "And how do you know my son?" She had mentioned her class, so he knew that wasn't how they knew one another. And she must care for him quite a bit to come to visit him at a time such as this.

Alcy nodded as she was helped to sit back up, sniffling slightly. "Mmm... y-yeah, I'm fine.... s-sorry about that..." She glanced up at him and blinked, her head tilting a slight bit. "... Daang.... you really do look like Takkun, don't you," she thought aloud on accident.
"Ah! Um, ahahaha, y-yeah, well..." She laughed weakly, her head slumping forward dejectedly- Ugh.... I-I'm an idiot..... She managed to half-peek back up as he spoke again. "Aha, yeah, um.... well, I'm kind of a hostess in the host club... and before that, I went there a lot, so.... I guess you could say I know him through the club..."

"So you're a member in that club of his," he mused aloud, but not unkindly. He was watching her with interest, a smile still on his face. He was the type of person who looked as though they would have been handsome had he been younger. And even then, he was still quite good looking at his current age and had the same gentlemanly personality as Tamaki, though on a smaller scale. His smile was wry as he added, "I think you mean that Tamaki looks like me." He laughed. "I refuse to take all the credit, though. That boy really takes after his mother." His face clouded over slightly and he sipped his tea busily.
As though his words had been heard elsewhere in the house, a door opened somewhere above them and the slow and elegant footsteps of a woman. "Yuzuru!" summoned the woman from above them, before she actually appeared, one expensive heel before the other at the top of the steps. The elderly woman looking down at them with an expression of distaste paused when she noted the young girl sitting on the couch with her son.
While there were plenty of things that could have led to this situation, her mind immediately sprang to the worst and she descended the steps quickly yet elegantly. "Who are you?"" she asked, her eyes cold and her mouth a bitter line.

Alcy laughed at Yuzuru's statement, starting to be able to relax: I don't know why I was so worried, ehe~ She paused as she heard a sharp, stern voice come from above her, turning slowly to face what appeared to her to be a very stately and important woman of her elder years.
Alcy stood up stiffly from her seat and bowed formally, answering Tamaki's grandmother much too loudly: "I am Alcnolien McRandom, Ouran Academy Class 3-A! My classmate and friend, Suoh Tamaki-kun, has been taken ill, and I was out on an expedition to check on his well-being! However, it seems that I have accidentally come to the incorrect location! I sincerely apologize!" She gasped for breath, as speaking so politely (and loudly) took a lot out of her.
