Blind Magi Or got hacked at some point, someone I used to play with last year got taken off the rankings because her account got hacked. I've known a ton of hackers, and they give a ton of excuses for why they hacked. A lot of them will confide that they hack or are hacker-funded to a trusted friend, and to everyone else they give sob stories for how they were screwed over by Nexon. In other words, someone claiming to you that they were screwed over does not mean anything, because unless you're a GM and have access to their disciplinary history, you can only take them on their word. You do NOT know for certain that they did not hack. You only know that they 1. claim they did not hack, and 2. that they are off-ranks for some reason. I read on Sleepywood somewhere, (sorry I don't have the link off the top of my head,) that Nexon released a statement that hacking is the ONLY offense that will cause you to be taken off the ranks permanently. If you get permanently banned, that too, but I've even known a person who was permanently banned without being taken off the ranks. If you're lvl 200 and no one knows about you, well, there's the reason right there. So, the long and short of it is, they don't take you off ranks by accident. Nexon's moderating presence is PATHETIC. Banning hackers is about the only thing they do semi-consistently, and legit players would be complete fools to trust hackers who claim they were taken off ranks by some sort of "accident." You do NOT get permanently taken off ranks by accident. To be legit, your account has to be legit 100% of the time. According to my lvl 15x friend, if you activate hacking tools for 15 minutes and no one finds out about it, you're still technically a hacker. If your friend gets on your account and activates hacking tools, your character is a hacker or ex-hacker. If you're off the ranks, you should begin a new character and level that character. Hacking to 200 is not an achievement, because anyone can do it. You vac hac the mesos, you godmode the experience, and you level faster than almost any legit could. Which is why only people on ranks are taken seriously for leveling.

Actually, iyul is a girl; and she was off the rankings because of Windows Mode && account sharing a long time ago. (: She smega`d, asking the GMS to put her back on the rankings because a person, slutbox I think was off the rankings and when she asked, they gave the ranking back to her. So she asked but then the GMs declined her request, saying that the punishment would be a one week bann + off rank...
Something like that. :]

You're not disproving anything I said here. The person who was banned and taken off the rankings has CLAIMED that she was taken off due to windows mode and account sharing a long time ago. I know a person, named Timt, who was banned permanently due to windows mode. That is, everyone knows he was permanently banned, and he says it's due to windows mode. If you look him up on the ranks, he's still there. So in his case -- though he was permaed due to windows mode -- he is still on the ranks. NX fraud and hacking bans get you taken off the ranks. But he wasn't. So, I am just saying, her CLAIMING and MEGAING her CLAIMS do not make those claims TRUE. Most likely, this person is a lvl 200 hacker, and she got taken off for legitimate reasons.

On the internet, there is dismissal for virtually every contingency. If you aren't long/detailed enough someone will whinge about thoroughness, proof or even "sources." If you are long/detailed enough, it's "tl;dr" or "wall of text." Either way, instead of responding to the post itself, you just claim the person made it the wrong way, which means you look "cool" while really saying nothing. Gaia has more of a problem with this issue than some other places I've been in.
Basically, if you don't have the attention span to read it, don't read it. It's a free country.
